How to prepare silverbeet

Silverbeet shines in wintry dishes, such as our Silverbeet, Chorizo & Beans. Follow our steps to get it ready.

Step 1

Wash the silverbeet leaves to remove trapped dirt and cut the stems about 5cm from the leaves.

Step 2

To remove the white stems, use a sharp knife to cut along either side. Reserve for a pie filling or frittata.

Step 3

To cut the silverbeet leaves, stack the leaves on top of each other, then slice them crossways.
