Diablo II is an action role-playing hack and slash video game developed by Blizzard North and published by Blizzard Entertainment in 2000 for Microsoft Windows and Mac OS. The game, with its dark fantasy and horror themes, was conceptualized and designed by David Brevik and Erich Schaefer, who with Max Schaefer acted as project leads on the game. The producers were Matthew Householder and Bill Roper.
Building on the success of its predecessor Diablo (1996), Diablo II was one of the most popular games of 2000. Major factors that contributed to Diablo II's success include its continuation of popular fantasy themes from the previous game and its access to Blizzard's free online play service Battle.net. An expansion to Diablo II, Diablo II: Lord of Destruction, was released in 2001. A sequel, Diablo III, was announced in 2008, and was released on May 15, 2012.
Diablo II's storyline progresses through four chapters or "Acts". Each act follows a more or less predetermined path, although there is some random-level generation in wilderness areas and dungeons between key cities. The player progresses through the story by completing a series of quests within each act, with optional quests providing additional rewards. In contrast to the first Diablo, whose levels consisted of descending deeper and deeper into a Gothic-themed dungeon and Hell, Diablo II's environments are much more varied. Act I, Rogue Encampment, is a simple palisade fort placed between plains and forests and is similar to the original Diablo. Act II, Lut Gholein, mimics Egypt desert while Act III, Kurast, is supposedly based on the Maya civilization jungles. Act IV takes place in Hell and is the shortest, with just three quests compared to the other Acts that have six.
The Eyeless is a BBC Books original novel written by Lance Parkin and based on the long-running science fiction television series Doctor Who. It features the Tenth Doctor. It was published in December 2008, alongside Beautiful Chaos and The Story of Martha. This is the first of the New Series Adventures to feature the Doctor without any companions.
The Doctor, now on his own, is drawn to the ruins an ancient weapon at the heart of a destroyed civilisation. There he discovers survivors from the world before, people who were children when the weapon fell out of the sky and destroyed the great city, now adults heading a small tribe with offspring of their own. The tribe rests far beyond the city, away from the dangers of the decayed buildings and the ghosts of those who once lived in them. But there are new dangers arising. A race of glass conquerors calling themselves 'The Eyeless' have also been drawn to the ruins by the ancient power of the weapon, and the Doctor must venture deep into the centre of it to uncover why it suddenly appeared, and why it destroyed everything...
Wall is a 2009 play by David Hare, in the form of a monologue. It was first performed in March 2009 at the Jerwood Theatre Downstairs at the Royal Court Theatre by the author himself, directed by Stephen Daldry. Its topic is the Israeli Security Barriers in the West Bank and Gaza and it is intended by Hare as a companion piece to his monologue Berlin and its passages on the Berlin Wall.
The Walking Stiletto is a robot supervillain created by Stan Lee, John Romita, Sr., and Sal Buscema, first appeared in Captain America #114 (June 1969). Within the context of the stories, the Walking Stiletto is a creation and agent of AIM. When Sharon Carter attacks a group of AIM leaders, they let loose the Stiletto to attack her, but she is saved by Captain America and Rick Jones, who destroy the robot. Many years later, the Walking Stiletto is among the robotic collection of the Reanimator, who unleashes it on Wolverine and Nova. Wolverine eviscerates the Walking Stiletto, rendering it inoperative.
Wall is a mutant whose first appearance was in Cable vol. 2 #79. Wall was a member of Randall Shire's small traveling carnival in Australia before Shire was possessed by the alien Undying known as Semijan and subsequently enslaved Wall and his brother Key with his mutant vocal power. Wall is a low-level mutant whose body is denser than adamantium, and is resistant to injury. Wall also possesses enhanced strength.
Michael Jerome "Jerry" Tuite (December 27, 1966 – December 6, 2003) was an American professional wrestler. He was best known for his appearances with World Championship Wrestling from 1999 to 2001 under the ring names The Wall and Sgt. A.W.O.L., as well as his appearances with Total Nonstop Action Wrestling in 2002 and 2003 as Malice.
Born in Ocean Grove, New Jersey, Tuite broke into the wrestling business in 1994 after learning the ropes under veteran Mike Sharpe at his training school in New Jersey. Tuite trained at the WCW Power Plant before he wrestled full-time as The Wall in WCW. He was also a protégé of Bam Bam Bigelow.
Tuite debuted in World Championship Wrestling in 1999 as a bodyguard for Berlyn, then later moved to the singles division. The Wall and Berlyn had a feud with Vampiro and Jerry Only of the Misfits. The feud led to WCW Mayhem where Berlyn and Vampiro fought in a chain match, which Berlyn lost after The Wall walked out.
Diablo (Esteban Corazón de Ablo) is a fictional character, a supervillain appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Diablo is an enemy of the Fantastic Four. He is depicted as an evil alchemist.
He was created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, and first appeared in Fantastic Four vol. 1 #30. In a 2013 interview with Chris Hardwick of Nerdist, creator Stan Lee said that Diablo was his greatest regret because he cannot remember the character, who he is, and why he did what he did. "When you create a character you should feel you know him," said Stan Lee.
Esteban Corazón de Ablo was a powerful alchemist in 9th Century Saragossa, who sold his soul to the demon Mephisto to lengthen his life far beyond a human span.
Years later, Diablo set up a base in Transylvania where he made a pact with the Vampires.
The following are fictional characters in Disney's 1959 film Sleeping Beauty.
Princess Aurora is the title role of the film. After Maleficent curses her when she is only a baby, Aurora is taken to the woods by Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather, where her name is changed to Briar Rose to conceal her identity from Maleficent. Aurora is the third official Disney Princess.
Later in the story, the three good fairies are preparing for her birthday when they plan to surprise her with the news that she is a princess. But when Princess Aurora renamed Briar Rose returns with the news of meeting a handsome and enchanting man, the fairies must tell her she can never see him again; like Aurora, they do not know who he really is. The three fairies tell her about the future that is set for her and that night they take her back to the castle. Aurora is saddened that she will never see the man from the forest and breaks into tears. The three fairies exit the room they secretly entered so as to let the princess have a few moments alone. Aurora suddenly sees a floating spark of light cast by Maleficent and, in a trance, follows the spark through the back of the fireplace and up a staircase to an abandoned empty room to a spinning wheel that was conjured up. The three good fairies try to stop her, but Aurora touches the spindle and falls to the floor, unconscious. She is put in a bed by the fairies where she can sleep peacefully within the highest tower.
Diablo 2: Resurrected reviewed on PC by Jon Bolding. Also available on Xbox, PlayStation, and Switch. Diablo 2: Resurrected updates the graphics of a great, classic action RPG for a new generation. It masterfully preserves the mood of a singular game, and at the same time it preserves the gameplay as it has been for over a decade - mostly for better, occasionally for worse. Unfortunately, parts of that gameplay that were standard 20 years ago just look bad now, or feel like a waste of our time. Those looking for the old king can find it right here, but they might want to politely bow rather than kneel. #IGN #Gaming #Diablo2

Diablo 2 - in all of its forms, has been held on a pedestal for over 20 years at this point, the question is - should you get one of the flavors of Diablo 2 these days? or are there better options? As far as Diablo 2 Resurrected vs Diablo 2 Lord of Destruction - for the most part, the majority of these points apply to both versions - with the major difference being graphics. But Resurrected does have some modified mechanics, and we do dive into the weeds there in other videos - since they don't significantly change the review, just the strategy guides. (with the exception of Sundered Charms and Mosaic, which are creeping in of "item-centric balance" vs "skill-centric balance") I still wonder why we still haven't learned the lessons of the past and taken this a step further, rather than ...

With the technical alpha for Diablo II Resurrected finally arriving we compare the new remastered version with the original. In this clip we show off different parts of Act 1 as a Sorceress. The technical alpha for Diablo 2 Resurrected is available for the few who have access to it via Battle.net on PC. One of its key features is the ability to seamlessly switch between the new overhauled graphics and the original visual style on the fly with a keystroke. In going between the enhanced HD visuals in 16:9 widescreen and the old-school look in 4:3 aspect ratio, you realize how much Diablo 2 has aged, and you can see exactly how in the video above. Gameplay was captured on PC using the ability to swap visual style in the same instance. You'll see the redone assets, updated animations, and s...

I don't love, I don't give, I don't care' cause
I've already been there
I don't want, I don't need, I don't take,
'cause I had it all
I don't guess, I just know, what this is,
is a place to die from
I am not what you see, you are real but not for real
I'm not scared, I'm not high, I'm a man
and I'm all right
We are here, we are gone, and the rest are
left to wonder
What is life, in the hand of illusion, what is life
to a man in confusion
What is right, for a life that is losin', what is time,
what is, what is, what is?
Take look, open up, look inside, what is there
In your heart, in your mind, in your soul
there's the answer
Why you want, why you need, the side effects of
what you see
What is life, in the hand of illusion
What is life, to a man in confusion
What is right for a life that is losin', what is time,
what is, what is, what is?
I don't pay, I just know what this is,
