James Hildreth hit his second century of the season for Somerset on day two against Yorkshire at Taunton as batsmen continued to dominate.
Hildreth's 37th first-class ton included 17 fours as he shared a fifth-wicket stand of 199 with Peter Trego.
Adil Rashid (4-160) had Trego (94) caught behind and collected a return catch to dismiss Hildreth for 166 as Somerset declared on 562-7.
Adam Lyth's unbeaten 80 saw Yorkshire close on 127-1, trailing by 435 runs.
Hildreth resumed the second day in Somerset unbeaten on 68 and reached three figures from 160 balls in the morning session.
The 31-year-old accelerated after passing the milestone, making his next 66 runs off only 77 balls as Trego became the third Somerset batsman to be dismissed in the 90s in the innings - after Marcus Trescothick (97) and Chris Rogers (91).
Lyth, who has struggled since his century in the opening Championship match of the season against Hampshire, looked untroubled on the flat pitch as he hit nine fours and two sixes to finish 20 runs short of a ton.
Jamie Overton claimed the only Yorkshire scalp of the day, removing Alex Lees at third slip.
