CROATIAN STALKER
This tape was found in Croatia in 2005.
It shows two guys walking around, having a bit of fun and laughing at a strange guy that seemed to be following them.
Like anyone would, they begin to get a little creeped out and worried. They run back to the safety of their apartment to which the tape randomly cuts out.
Their camcorder was found and the stalker in the footage was never identified. The boys have been missing ever since.
DIVING FOOTAGE
In the year 2000 an diving instructor called Yuri sank to his death whilst diving off the coast of Egypt.
Yuri's body was recovered and authorities also found his head cam.
The footage shows Yuri rapidly diving to dangerous depths. A diver with Yuri's experience should of easily known he was going too far.
It shows him diving to the sea bed, removing his breathing apparatus and laying totally still. This is the recovered footage from Yuri's fatal dive.
REDWOOD CITY ARSONIST
In 1987 there was arsonist on the loose in Redwood City California. This arsonist burned countless buildings and people lived in fear.
Authorities had absolutely no clue who was doing it, they had no leads and the arsonist was always one step ahead of them.
The police gave up there search for the arsonist and the case was closed.
A few years later a local found a tape on the floor, he watched it and realised with actual footage recorded by the redwood arsonist.
This is the footage shot by the mysterious redwood arsonist.
SHORTCUT
In 2006 two guys decided to take a shortcut through the woods at night.
The footage shows them having a good time and singing along in the car whilst on their rood trip.
A while into the video they seem to get lost and slow down, they then spot something strange and wonder what it is.
They get out to to take a look and they start hearing strange noises.
The tape ends with them being chased and attacked by what seems to be some kind of beast.
The men have never been seen again.
MAN BY THE WINDOW
This recovered footage is of a guy recording someone staring up at his window.
He gets a little creeped out and calls the police to report it.
After he's done with the call he moves the camera away from the person looking up at him, and then it cuts out.

THE LEGEND OF THE JERSEY DEVIL: The legend of the Jersey Devil dates back to 1735. One of New Jersey's earliest residents, "Mother" Leeds, was wife to a drunkard who did little to help care for their 12 children. When she discovered she was pregnant with a 13th, she screamed "Let this one be the Devil!" The child was born on a stormy night. Seemingly normal at first, the baby transformed into a hideous, growling creature with hooved feet, clawed hands, glowing red eyes, bat-like wings and a forked tail. The devilish abomination slaughtered its mother and father, several of the midwives and many of its siblings. It then flew up the chimney and escaped to the Pine Barrens.
DEVIL SIGHTINGS: Many say the Jersey Devil continues to haunt the vast, desolate Pine Barrens of southern New Jersey. Over 2,000 witnesses have reportedly sighted the Jersey Devil over the past 275 years. Unearthly screams, unidentified cloven tracks and slaughtered livestock point to the presence of an evil force in the woods, according to believers. In January 1909, the Jersey Devil was allegedly spotted several times over the course of a week, causing factories and schools to close down. Those who claim to have seen the Jersey Devil describe it as having the head of a dog with the face of a horse, deer-like antlers, a kangaroo's body, large leathery wings, a forked reptilian tale, cloven hooves and long, razor-like claws.
POSSIBLE EXPLANATIONS: According to skeptics, the most logical explanation for the Jersey Devil is that it's nothing more than a story made up by English settlers, frightened of the isolated, desolate Pine Barrens of southern New Jersey. Fugitives, dissenters and deserters took refuge in the Pine Barrens; some of them became notorious bandits known as "pine robbers" or "pineys," who terrorized the local communities. The threatening atmosphere of the barrens, the criminal activities of the pineys and sightings of real animals, like bears or sandhill cranes, likely inspired the tale of the Jersey Devil.

Lost Tapes
Lost Tapes is an American television horror series that aired on Animal Planet. Produced by Go Go Luckey Entertainment, the program presents found footage depicting traumatic encounters with cryptozoological creatures, including the Chupacabra and Bigfoot, and even supernatural creatures such as the Werewolf and Vampire, and extraterrestrials: Alien and Reptilian.
The pilot (Chupacabra) aired on Animal Planet October 30, 2008, for Halloween, but the series officially premiered on January 6, 2009. Animal Planet commissioned a second season, which premiered on September 29, 2009. Season 3 premiered on September 28, 2010, with episodes featuring zombies and the Kraken. The show also used to air on Planet Green.
Overview
Lost Tapes depicts traumatic scenarios where people are attacked and/or killed by mysterious, dangerous, deadly, savage, and ferocious paranormal wild cryptids. The series is shot in a mockumentary style. Most episodes begin with a quick introduction of facts, which include interviews with experts explaining scientific theories or facts and folklore behind the episode's titular creature. In the second season, some episodes began with footage of a person being attacked and often killed by the episode's creature, an introduction meant to set up the events of each episode. In the third season, every episode had such an introduction, though the events of every episode in all three seasons are accompanied by videos of scientists, cryptozoologists, and folklorists giving their thoughts and opinions of the creatures, which are called Lost Tapes: Revelations.

Pine barrens
Pine barrens, pine plains, sand plains, or pinelands occur throughout the northeastern U.S. from New Jersey to Maine (see Atlantic coastal pine barrens) as well as the Midwest, Canada and northern Eurasia.
Pine barrens are plant communities that occur on dry, acidic, infertile soils dominated by grasses, forbs, low shrubs, and small to medium sized pines.
The most extensive barrens occur in large areas of sandy glacial deposits, including outwash plains, lakebeds, and outwash terraces along rivers.
Description
Botany
The most common trees are the Jack pine, red pine, pitch pine, blackjack oak, and scrub oak; a scattering of larger oaks is not unusual. The understory is composed of grasses, sedges, and forbs, many of them common in dry prairies. Plants of the heath family, such as blueberries and bearberry, and shrubs such as prairie willow and hazelnut are common. These species have adaptations that permit them to survive or regenerate well after fire.
Fauna
Pine barrens support a number of rare species, including lepidoptera such as the Karner Blue butterfly (Lycaeides melissa samuelis) and the barrens buck moth (Hemileuca maia), and plants such as the Sand-plain Gerardia (Agalinis acuta).

THE LEGEND OF THE JERSEY DEVIL: The legend of the Jersey Devil dates back to 1735. One of New Jersey's earliest residents, "Mother" Leeds, was wife to a drunkard who did little to help care for their 12 children. When she discovered she was pregnant with a 13th, she screamed "Let this one be the Devil!" The child was born on a stormy night. Seemingly normal at first, the baby transformed into a hideous, growling creature with hooved feet, clawed hands, glowing red eyes, bat-like wings and a forked tail. The devilish abomination slaughtered its mother and father, several of the midwives and many of its siblings. It then flew up the chimney and escaped to the Pine Barrens. DEVIL SIGHTINGS: Many say the Jersey Devil continues to haunt the vast, desolate Pine Barrens of southern New Jersey. Over 2,000 witnesses have reportedly sighted the Jersey Devil over the past 275 years. Unearthly screams, unidentified cloven tracks and slaughtered livestock point to the presence of an evil force in the woods, according to believers. In January 1909, the Jersey Devil was allegedly spotted several times over the course of a week, causing factories and schools to close down. Those who claim to have seen the Jersey Devil describe it as having the head of a dog with the face of a horse, deer-like antlers, a kangaroo's body, large leathery wings, a forked reptilian tale, cloven hooves and long, razor-like claws. POSSIBLE EXPLANATIONS: According to skeptics, the most logical explanation for the Jersey Devil is that it's nothing more than a story made up by English settlers, frightened of the isolated, desolate Pine Barrens of southern New Jersey. Fugitives, dissenters and deserters took refuge in the Pine Barrens; some of them became notorious bandits known as "pine robbers" or "pineys," who terrorized the local communities. The threatening atmosphere of the barrens, the criminal activities of the pineys and sightings of real animals, like bears or sandhill cranes, likely inspired the tale of the Jersey Devil. -

CROATIAN STALKER
This tape was found in Croatia in 2005.
It shows two guys walking around, having a bit of fun and laughing at a strange guy that seemed to be following them.
Like anyone would, they begin to get a little creeped out and worried. They run back to the safety of their apartment to which the tape randomly cuts out.
Their camcorder was found and the stalker in the footage was never identified. The boys have been missing ever since.
DIVING FOOTAGE
In the year 2000 an diving instructor called Yuri sank to his death whilst diving off the coast of Egypt.
Yuri's body was recovered and authorities also found his head cam.
The footage shows Yuri rapidly diving to dangerous depths. A diver with Yuri's experience should of easily known he was going too far.
It shows him diving to the sea bed, removing his breathing apparatus and laying totally still. This is the recovered footage from Yuri's fatal dive.
REDWOOD CITY ARSONIST
In 1987 there was arsonist on the loose in Redwood City California. This arsonist burned countless buildings and people lived in fear.
Authorities had absolutely no clue who was doing it, they had no leads and the arsonist was always one step ahead of them.
The police gave up there search for the arsonist and the case was closed.
A few years later a local found a tape on the floor, he watched it and realised with actual footage recorded by the redwood arsonist.
This is the footage shot by the mysterious redwood arsonist.
SHORTCUT
In 2006 two guys decided to take a shortcut through the woods at night.
The footage shows them having a good time and singing along in the car whilst on their rood trip.
A while into the video they seem to get lost and slow down, they then spot something strange and wonder what it is.
They get out to to take a look and they start hearing strange noises.
The tape ends with them being chased and attacked by what seems to be some kind of beast.
The men have never been seen again.
MAN BY THE WINDOW
This recovered footage is of a guy recording someone staring up at his window.
He gets a little creeped out and calls the police to report it.
After he's done with the call he moves the camera away from the person looking up at him, and then it cuts out.

THE LEGEND OF THE JERSEY DEVIL: The legend of the Jersey Devil dates back to 1735. One of New Jersey's earliest residents, "Mother" Leeds, was wife to a drunkard who did little to help care for their 12 children. When she discovered she was pregnant with a 13th, she screamed "Let this one be the Devil!" The child was born on a stormy night. Seemingly normal at first, the baby transformed into a hideous, growling creature with hooved feet, clawed hands, glowing red eyes, bat-like wings and a forked tail. The devilish abomination slaughtered its mother and father, several of the midwives and many of its siblings. It then flew up the chimney and escaped to the Pine Barrens.
DEVIL SIGHTINGS: Many say the Jersey Devil continues to haunt the vast, desolate Pine Barrens of southern New Jersey. Over 2,000 witnesses have reportedly sighted the Jersey Devil over the past 275 years. Unearthly screams, unidentified cloven tracks and slaughtered livestock point to the presence of an evil force in the woods, according to believers. In January 1909, the Jersey Devil was allegedly spotted several times over the course of a week, causing factories and schools to close down. Those who claim to have seen the Jersey Devil describe it as having the head of a dog with the face of a horse, deer-like antlers, a kangaroo's body, large leathery wings, a forked reptilian tale, cloven hooves and long, razor-like claws.
POSSIBLE EXPLANATIONS: According to skeptics, the most logical explanation for the Jersey Devil is that it's nothing more than a story made up by English settlers, frightened of the isolated, desolate Pine Barrens of southern New Jersey. Fugitives, dissenters and deserters took refuge in the Pine Barrens; some of them became notorious bandits known as "pine robbers" or "pineys," who terrorized the local communities. The threatening atmosphere of the barrens, the criminal activities of the pineys and sightings of real animals, like bears or sandhill cranes, likely inspired the tale of the Jersey Devil.

THE LEGEND OF THE JERSEY DEVIL: The legend of the Jersey Devil dates back to 1735. One of New Jersey's earliest residents, "Mother" Leeds, was wife to a drunkard who did little to help care for their 12 children. When she discovered she was pregnant with a 13th, she screamed "Let this one be the Devil!" The child was born on a stormy night. Seemingly normal at first, the baby transformed into a hideous, growling creature with hooved feet, clawed hands, glowing red eyes, bat-like wings and a forked tail. The devilish abomination slaughtered its mother and father, several of the midwives and many of its siblings. It then flew up the chimney and escaped to the Pine Barrens. CROATIAN STALKER
This tape was found in Croatia in 2005.
It shows two guys walking around, having a bit of fun and laughing at a strange guy that seemed to be following them.
Like anyone would, they begin to get a little creeped out and worried. They run back to the safety of their apartment to which the tape randomly cuts out.
Their camcorder was found and the stalker in the footage was never identified. The boys have been missing ever since.
DIVING FOOTAGE
In the year 2000 an diving instructor called Yuri sank to his death whilst diving off the coast of Egypt.
Yuri's body was recovered and authorities also found his head cam.
The footage shows Yuri rapidly diving to dangerous depths. A diver with Yuri's experience should of easily known he was going too far.
It shows him diving to the sea bed, removing his breathing apparatus and laying totally still. This is the recovered footage from Yuri's fatal dive.
REDWOOD CITY ARSONIST
In 1987 there was arsonist on the loose in Redwood City California. This arsonist burned countless buildings and people lived in fear.
Authorities had absolutely no clue who was doing it, they had no leads and the arsonist was always one step ahead of them.
The police gave up there search for the arsonist and the case was closed.
A few years later a local found a tape on the floor, he watched it and realised with actual footage recorded by the redwood arsonist.
This is the footage shot by the mysterious redwood arsonist.
SHORTCUT
In 2006 two guys decided to take a shortcut through the woods at night.
The footage shows them having a good time and singing along in the car whilst on their rood trip.
A while into the video they seem to get lost and slow down, they then spot something strange and wonder what it is.
They get out to to take a look and they start hearing strange noises.
The tape ends with them being chased and attacked by what seems to be some kind of beast.
The men have never been seen again.
MAN BY THE WINDOW
This recovered footage is of a guy recording someone staring up at his window.
He gets a little creeped out and calls the police to report it.
After he's done with the call he moves the camera away from the person looking up at him, and then it cuts out.

Over 2,000 witnesses have reportedly sighted the Jersey Devil over the past 275 years. Unearthly screams, unidentified cloven tracks and slaughtered livestock point to the presence of an evil force in the woods, according to believers. In January 1909, the Jersey Devil was allegedly spotted several times over the course of a week, causing factories and schools to close down. Those who claim to have seen the Jersey Devil describe it as having the head of a dog with the face of a horse, deer-like antlers, a kangaroo's body, large leathery wings, a forked reptilian tale, cloven hooves and long, razor-like claws.
POSSIBLE EXPLANATIONS: According to skeptics, the most logical explanation for the Jersey Devil is that it's nothing more than a story made up by English settlers, frightened of the isolated, desolate Pine Barrens of southern New Jersey. Fugitives, dissenters and deserters took refuge in the Pine Barrens; some of them became notorious bandits known as "pine robbers" or "pineys," who terrorized the local communities. The threatening atmosphere of the barrens, the criminal activities of the pineys and sightings of real animals, like bears or sandhill cranes, likely inspired the tale of the Jersey Devil.

In January 1909, the Jersey Devil was allegedly spotted several times over the course of a week, causing factories and schools to close down. Those who claim to have seen the Jersey Devil describe it as having the head of a dog with the face of a horse, deer-like antlers, a kangaroo's body, large leathery wings, a forked reptilian tale, cloven hooves and long, razor-like claws.
POSSIBLE EXPLANATIONS: According to skeptics, the most logical explanation for the Jersey Devil is that it's nothing more than a story made up by English settlers, frightened of the isolated, desolate Pine Barrens of southern New Jersey. Fugitives, dissenters and deserters took refuge in the Pine Barrens; some of them became notorious bandits known as "pine robbers" or "pineys," who terrorized the local communities. The threatening atmosphere of the barrens, the criminal activities of the pineys and sightings of real animals, like bears or sandhill cranes, likely inspired the tale of the Jersey Devil.

ONE DAY IN DOVER: On April 21, 1977, the sightings of something otherworldly forever changed a small suburb of Boston, Mass. In 2008, news reporter Chrissy Cooper and her cameraman Derek Green arranged to follow local fire fighters Trevor Andrews and Dana Caldwell into the sewer to rescue a lost cat as part of a human interest story. Apparently, the cat was pulled into a storm drain by an unidentified person or creature. Shortly after entering the sewer, they discover a horribly mauled carcass that they assume belongs to the missing cat and wonder what could have committed such an act. Trevor mentions rumors of sewer alligators, but the others dismiss it. Shortly after entering the sewer, they discover a horribly mauled carcass that they assume belongs to the missing cat and wonder what could have committed such an act. Trevor mentions rumors of sewer alligators, but the others dismiss it. Deciding that their story has ended, they begin heading back to the surface, but suddenly hear a cat meowing in the other direction, so they head back to find him. They hear growls in the sewer and wonder what is causing it, but suddenly hear a meow and see a cat walking away from them, and Dana runs after it. She hears more growling as she continues, and suddenly a yowl as the cat is apparently attacked by something. As she approaches a corner in the tunnel, a large, human-like shape suddenly jumps out and she screams in surprise, alerting the others. Wielding an axe, he runs back down the sewer and is suddenly attacked by the creature. Dana hears the sounds of the fight, and becomes worried when everything grows quiet for a moment. She hears raspy breathing, presumably that of the creature, and sees a silhouette approaching her. She threatens that she will kill it if it comes any closer, but it's just Trevor, carrying what appears to be a severed arm, presumably belonging to the dead creature. He says that they now have nothing to fear. Dana was treated for her injuries and later released, and the bodies of Chrissy and Derek were recovered. Trevor and Dana turned over everything that they found in the sewer to authorities, but the results of DNA testing performed on the evidence was not released to the public.

The werewolf is said to have extra-human senses and strength far beyond that of a normal wolf or human. According to legend, the werewolf can be identified in its human form by its low-set ears, curved fingernails, swinging stride, eyebrows that meet at the bridge of the nose and bristles under the tongue. Some claim that, if cut, a werewolf will have fur in its wound. In its wolf form, the werewolf of legend commonly looks like a regular wolf with no tail, human eyes and the capability of speech.
BECOMING A WEREWOLF: The idea that a werewolf is created through the infectious bite of another werewolf is a modern invention. Werewolves of legend were commonly evil men who voluntarily performed witchcraft in order to become a werewolf.
