It is a frequent destination for those staying in nearby Sokcho, a city renowned for its natural hot springs and mountainous surroundings. Seoraksan National Park’s 63 square miles are largely untouched by humans, so it’s easy to immerse yourself in the quiet beauty of nature. Your Seoraksan National Park sightseeing begins at the park gates, where a towering bronze statue of Buddha awaits you. Take some pictures or place an offering at his feet, and then head into the park proper.
