The Cape Coat is a chic winter statement. We designed the cape with a full hood for those chilly days and large pockets to keep your hands warm. Wrap yourself up in this gorgeous cape this winter or fall. A proper hood was essential when I was designing this cape, I designed the cape with a full good for those chill winter days so you can pull it up and stay warm. The Cape Coat was extremely popular in the 60s and 70s and is absolutely making a comeback now. I wanted it to be clean and simple to have a more modern look than the typical Cape Coats from back then. It is one of the easier garments I have designed to sew and suits all body shapes, and you don't have to worry about sizing as much as you might with other garments. This makes it a fabulous place to start for your winter sewing projects!

• Attaching a hood
• Finish a seam using binding
•
