3. Help others discover their truths. Ask questions and get people thinking about what is important for them. Influencers teach us how to think by posing questions, helping us explore our thoughts and dreams, focusing on our stories and interpretations.
4. Just get it done. To make a difference in other people's lives, first you have to show them how you make a difference by being proactive. When people see you struggle, achieve your goals, and rise from adversity, they will be inspired by you.

Jermaine Lamar Cole (born January 28, 1985), better known by his stage name J. Cole, is an American rapper and record producer. In 2009, he was the first rap artist signed to Jay-Z's label Roc Nation. His long-awaited debut album titled Cole World: The Sideline Story was released on September 27, 2011. A pair of irresponsible energy drink salesmen realize that serving a month of hard time is nothing compared to spending 150 hours in a community mentorship program after they trash the company truck and find themselves at the mercy of the court in this comedy starring Seann William Scott and Paul Rudd. Wheeler (Scott) and Danny (Rudd) wouldn't necessarily be the first people a parent would turn to when seeking out a babysitter, in fact, they probably wouldn't even make the list in the first place. After slamming a few too many Minotaur energy drinks and crashing the company truck, however, the two loose-living pals narrowly avert jail when the court decides to let them become mentors to a group of young misfits. But how is the recently dumped Danny supposed to help bashful, role-playing geek Augie (Christopher Mintz-Plasse) become a man when all he can offer the boy is bitter sarcasm, and is beer-chugging man-child Wheeler really the best choice to help foul-mouthed fifth-grader Ronnie (Bobb'e J. Thompson) develop more respect for his elders? Probably not, but they'll have to do their best anyway when the center's ex-con director (Jane Lynch) confronts them with a harsh ultimatum. Now, if Wheeler and Danny can just make it through the rest of their probation without getting tossed in jail, maybe there's hope for the boys -- and Danny's relationship with his fed-up girlfriend (Elizabeth Banks) -- after all.

“A female-role model should be an example, not only for her beauty or money but also for her acts, work and bestowal. I hope to become a role model one day. Every girl and every woman is able to be a role model if she had the will, because will is the basis of every successful work.” - Razan Kheireldine, a student from Shaqra High School.
Recently local high schools in south Lebanon’s Sector East participated in a writing competition organised by the United Nations Interim Force for Lebanon (UNIFIL). The theme of the competition was ‘My Female Role-Model’ and the final judge was the acclaimed Lebanese author Hanan Al-Shaykh.
Ms. Al-Shaykh, originally from Nabatiyeh in south Lebanon, has been publishing for more than 40 years, and her work has been translated into more than 20 languages. In her speech she highlighted the importance of reading and literature in our lives.
“I have become a journalist, writer and novelist, thanks to my teacher who will live forever in my memory, and thanks to our neighbour who placed his library at my disposal,” she said. “And, many thanks to those women who have narrated to me their unwritten tales and stories.”
The five winners selected by Hanan Al-Shaykh were: Razan Kheireldine (Shaqra High School), Cristelle Al-Houmsi (Saint-Coeur), Eliana Zamel (Saint-Coeur), Maggie Al Ghalti (Chebaa High School) and Ahmad Al-Kadri (Kafer Chouba High School).
After receiving her award, Maggie Al Ghalti explained why she chose her teacher to be the subject of her article: “I wanted to express my love for my teacher, because had it not been for her I wouldn’t have learned the Arabic language, and I wouldn’t have written on such topics. Of course, my mother and father helped me a lot, but my teacher remains my role model and idol.”
Another winner, Agnes Rizk, said she enjoyed being a part of the competition. “This activity motivates us to adhere to our traditions and enhances our passion for writing,” she said. “It also encourages us to keep up the habit of writing which is diminishing nowadays due to technological advancements.”
Each of the five winners received a certificate, along with gifts from UNIFIL and the two private sponsors: Librairie Antoine and Virgin Megastore from Beirut. They also received signed copies of one of Hanan Al-Shaykh’s novels.

But a role model for fun, I can do that," says musician Andrew W.K., who has been called "the great unwashed rock star" and "the great god of partying"since he first hit the charts with the release of his 2001 album "I Get Wet." That record featured the anthemic tunes "Party Hard," "We Want Fun," and "Fun Night." Rolling Stone praised the album as "the loudest and funniest metal you've heard in ages" and Allmusic.com pronounced that "resistance to its hard-partying charms is futile."
Born in 1979 and raised in Ann Arbor, Michigan, Andrew W.K. has also delighted a generation of children as the host of "Destroy Build Destroy," a live-action Cartoon Network series in which teams of kids compete for the right to blow up each others’ creations. Of the popular and sometimes controversial show, Andrew W.K. says, "Isn't this great that we're using weaponry purely for fun? Just for the spectacle, like a fireworks show. Now that was very offensive and frightening to other people. But certainly none of the kids, they thought that was awesome. Because you can have fun blowing something up, and it doesn't have to be violent."
He's a regular on Fox News’ "Red Eye with Greg Gutfield" and is known to show up on channels ranging from MTV to CNN to Glenn Beck's The Blaze. "Every once in a while someone will say, what are you doing on there," explains Andrew W.K. "And I say, Oh I was invited. And that usually ends the conversation. I go where I’m invited. [It's] very easy to go and hang out with someone even if you don’t agree on every single thing."
He's also a motivational speaker, and through his weekly "Ask Andrew W.K." column in the Village Voice, arguably the greatest advice columnist working in the U.S. today.
Reason TV's Nick Gillespie sat down to talk with Andrew W.K. about how his struggle with depression led to his passion for partying (2:23), why the prospect of "blowing up the school bus" can be thrilling and cathartic for a kid (4:23), how he soldiered through the red tape of New York City's regulatory regime to open the concert and dance venue Santos Party House (6:54), his book-in-progress, "The Party Bible" (9:59), the sage wisdom he doles out in his advice columns (17:00), the politics of partying (25:51), his new kids show on Maker.tv, "Meet Me At The Reck" (28:20), and his unabashed and unapologetic embrace of fun and libertine abandon.
