Marti Pellow (born Mark McLachlan; 23 March 1965) is a Scottish singer. He has been the lead singer of the Scottish pop group Wet Wet Wet since their formation in 1982, and has also recorded solo material.
Pellow's first exposure to music occurred around the age of 7. He would listen to his mother's Barras-bought 8-track record collection of Burt Bacharach and Hal David, but it was the soul genre of the selection that drew him in. Early Marvin Gaye and, especially, Sam Cooke captivated him. He then discovered live music. "Hey, wait a minute – check that picture. Not only is this music amazing, but these guys deliver it live? That's for me."
When he told his father about the direction he wanted his life to take, he was less than enthusiastic. "'Are you on a hallucinogenic substance or something? What's wrong with getting out there and getting an apprenticeship? I'm a builder, your grandfather was a builder, your great-grandfather was a shipbuilder. What do you want to be a musician for?' And I said, 'No, you don't understand – this is my vocation in life; this is what I want to be'."
Wet Wet Wet are a Scottish soft rock band that formed in 1982. They scored a number of hits in the UK charts and around the world. The band is composed of Marti Pellow (lead vocals), Tommy Cunningham (drums, vocals), Graeme Clark (bass, vocals) and Neil Mitchell (keyboards, vocals). A fifth, unofficial member, Graeme Duffin (lead guitar, vocals), has been with them since 1983. The band were named Best British Newcomer at the 1988 Brit Awards.
They are best known for their 1994 cover of The Troggs' 1960s hit "Love Is All Around", which was used on the soundtrack to the film Four Weddings and a Funeral. It was a huge international success and spent 15 weeks atop the British charts. The week before it could have equalled the record for the longest-standing UK number-one single, held by Bryan Adams' "(Everything I Do) I Do It for You", it dropped to number two.
The quartet formed at Clydebank High School in Clydebank, Scotland, in 1982, under the name "Vortex Motion", mostly playing covers of The Clash and Magazine. "It was either crime, the dole, football, or music — and we chose music," said Tommy Cunningham.

Love Is All is a Swedish five-piece indie pop band from Gothenburg, Sweden. It releases songs in English. Paste Magazine has stated that it makes "infectiously lo-fi punk rock laced with saxophone and melodic vocals".
Swedish band Love Is All are composed of Josephine Olausson (vocals, keyboard), Johan Lindwall (bass), Markus Görsch (drums), James Ausfahrt (saxophone), and Nicholaus Sparding (guitar/vocals). Olausson, Sparding, and Görsch had previously been members of Girlfrendo. The trio promptly regrouped after that band's demise and added Lindwall, who had recorded in a side project with Olausson and Sparding called Cat Skills. They finally added the missing piece with saxophone player Fredrik Eriksson. While earning many rave reviews from the blogging community for their blend of art punk and indie rock, the band released several singles, one of which made single of the week in NME. The singles were collected on the debut LP Nine Times That Same Song, released by New York-based What's Your Rupture? in late 2005. After much touring through 2006 and 2007, Eriksson left the band and Love Is All continued on as a quartet. A Hundred Things Keep Me Up at Night and the remix album Love Is All Mixed Up arrived in 2008, along with Eriksson's replacement Åke Strömer (saxophone, keyboards). They are currently signed to Polyvinyl Record Co..
"Love Is All Around" is a song recorded by the Troggs, featuring a string quartet and a 'tick tock' sound on percussion, in D-major. It was written by lead singer Reg Presley and was purportedly inspired by a television transmission of the Joy Strings Salvation Army band's "Love That's All Around". The song was first released as a single in the UK in October 1967. On the UK Singles Chart top 50, the record debuted at number 50 on 18 October 1967 (using the Wednesday date system) (date derived from 21 October 1967 and 28 October 1967), peaked at number five on 22 November 1967 (using the Wednesday date system) (date derived from 25 November 1967), and appeared 15 straight times. On the US Billboard Hot 100, the record entered at number 98 on 24 February 1968, peaked at number seven on 18 May 1968, and spent a total of 16 weeks on the chart.
"Love Is All Around" has been covered by numerous artists, including R.E.M., with whom the Troggs subsequently recorded their 1992 comeback album Athens Andover. R.E.M.'s cover was a B-side on their 1991 "Radio Song" single, and they also played it during their first appearance at MTV's Unplugged series that same year. Wet Wet Wet's cover, for the soundtrack to the 1994 film Four Weddings and a Funeral, was an international hit and spent 15 consecutive weeks at number one on the UK Singles Chart.

When you're tired of livin'
And you feel you can't go on
There'll be an angel on your shoulder now
Tellin' you that you're wrong
You say you're tired of forgivin'
And you feel all alone
You've gone and lost all your trust in me
So how can I stay strong
Let the sun walk you home my love
Let it wrap you up in its lovin' arms
Let the sun walk you home my love
Back home to me
I know I've been a careless man
Let precious moments slip through my hands
But the thought of you with someone else
Lord, it's killin' me
Lonely nights and lonely days
And only darkness through this haze
All my thoughts come tumblin' down one by one
Let the sun walk you home my love
Let it wrap you up in its lovin' arms
Let the sun walk you home my love
Walk you back home to me
Oh, here to me
Let the sun walk you home my love
Let it wrap you up in its lovin' arms
Let the sun walk you home my love
Walk you back home to me
