Canopy (Australian premiere) is the first feature film by Australian director, Aaron Wilson and stars Khan Chittenden (Underbelly, Paper Giants: Magazine Wars) and Mo Tzu-yi (Father's Lullaby). Having its world premiere at last year's Toronto Film Festival, Canopy garnered positive reviews and was compared to other adventure subgenre films where one or two persons are alone against nature, a movement pioneered by J.C. Chandor's All Is Lost and Alfonso Cuaron's Gravity. A Singaporean/Australian co-production, Canopy is set in 1942 during World War 2 where an Australian fighter pilot is shot down in combat and has to navigate through dangerous jungle in search of sanctuary.
