How Ukraine could 'drive a wedge' between Crimea and Russia
Ukraine's impending counter-offensive plans to "drive a wedge" between Crimea and Russia.
In an interview with a German paper, Ukraine's deputy military intelligence chief, Vadym Skibitsky said his country is planning a spring offensive and aims to liberate all areas of Ukraine - including Crimea.
Ed Arnold, a research fellow for European security at the military think tank RUSI, spoke to Forces News about how realistic is it for Ukraine to take it all back.

Week 241 - New Offensive in the Crimea - WW2 - April 8, 1944
The Soviets are finally going to try and push the Axis out of Sevastopol and the Crimea. They also continue to drive the Axis back in Transnistria. Over in Burma and Northeastern India, the Japanese have the Allies under siege at not one, but two towns, and are also attacking Imphal from several points, but the Japanese have way bigger future plans up their sleeves in China.

The Desperate Battle for the Crimea of 1944 | 200,000 Germans Left to Fate
Following the Soviet counteroffensive in the summer of 1943, the Crimean peninsula was cut off from the rest of the German positions in the Ukraine. From there began an agony for the German-Romanian troops that were assigned to its defense. After months of little activity in which it was exchanged in the vicinity of Kerch, in mid-April 1944 the Red Army launched with everything. When the German front to the north and east collapsed, the German leader named Sevastopol a fortress city and ordered its defense to the end. Next in this program we analyze it.

How Ukraine Retaking Crimea Will Destroy Russia
The war between Russia and Ukraine started long before February 24, 2022. Russian aggression has been constant ever since Vladimir Putin came to power in the late nineties. However, it was the illegal annexation of Crimea in 2014 that started the current conflict. The crazy part is NATO and the rest of the world just watched as Russian forces invaded Crimea in an eerily similar way to how Nazi Germany annexed Austria, Czechoslovakia, and the Rhineland before launching its invasion of Poland and starting World War II.

Crimean teenager apologises for supporting Ukraine in forced confession
A teenager from Russia-occupied Crimea has been detained and forced to make a video apology for saying that he supports Ukraine in the war.
Popular Russian Telegram channels yesterday published the interview clip from Yalta, a resort town in Crimea, in which a passer-by openly expressed his support for Ukraine.
Two young men were seen walking across the park near the sea coast as a reporter approached them and asked if they were afraid of a Ukrainian counter-offensive.
“We stand for Ukraine!” a young man in a black hoodie said.
The video was widely shared online and taken up by Ukrainian officials as proof against a Kremlin claim that residents of Crimea, which Russia captured in 2014 in a largely peaceful, illegal annexation, genuinely want to be part of Russia.

Mykhailo Podolyak, an adviser to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, reposted the video on Tuesday afternoon, predicting that the young men would soon be caught and made to “confess” on camera.
Less than an hour after Mr Podolyak’s post, a pro-Kremlin Telegram channel posted the video of the young man in the black hoodie sitting at what appears to be a police station, “apologising” for his remarks.
