Solar time is a reckoning of the passage of time based on the Sun's position in the sky. The fundamental unit of solar time is the day. Two types of solar time are apparent solar time (sundial time) and mean solar time (clock time).
Fix a tall pole vertically in the ground; at some instant on any sunny day the shadow will point exactly north or south (or disappear, if the Sun is directly overhead). That instant is local apparent noon: 12:00 local apparent time. About 24 hours later the shadow will again point north/south, the Sun seeming to have covered a 360-degree arc around the Earth's axis. When the Sun has covered exactly 15 degrees (1/24 of a circle, both angles being measured in a plane perpendicular to the Earth's axis), local apparent time is 13:00 exactly; after 15 more degrees it will be 14:00 exactly.
The problem is that in September the Sun takes less time (as measured by an accurate clock) to make an apparent revolution than it does in December; 24 "hours" of solar time can be 21 seconds less or 29 seconds more than 24 hours of clock time. As explained in the equation of time article, this is due to the eccentricity of the Earth's orbit (i.e. the Earth's orbit is not perfectly circular, meaning that the Earth-Sun distance varies throughout the year), and the fact that the Earth's axis is not perpendicular to the plane of its orbit (the so-called obliquity of the ecliptic).
Creative Commons (CC) is a non-profit organization devoted to expanding the range of creative works available for others to build upon legally and to share. The organization has released several copyright-licenses known as Creative Commons licenses free of charge to the public. These licenses allow creators to communicate which rights they reserve, and which rights they waive for the benefit of recipients or other creators. An easy-to-understand one-page explanation of rights, with associated visual symbols, explains the specifics of each Creative Commons license. Creative Commons licenses do not replace copyright, but are based upon it. They replace individual negotiations for specific rights between copyright owner (licensor) and licensee, which are necessary under an "all rights reserved" copyright management, with a "some rights reserved" management employing standardized licenses for re-use cases where no commercial compensation is sought by the copyright owner. The result is an agile, low-overhead and low-cost copyright-management regime, profiting both copyright owners and licensees. Wikipedia uses one of these licenses.

Sidereal time /saɪˈdɪəriəl/ is a time-keeping system astronomers use to keep track of the direction to point their telescopes to view a given star in the night sky. Briefly, sidereal time is a "time scale that is based on the Earth's rate of rotation measured relative to the fixed stars" rather than the Sun.
From a given observation point, a star found at one location in the sky will be found at nearly the same location on another night at the same sidereal time. This is similar to how the time kept by a sundial can be used to find the location of the Sun. Just as the Sun and Moon appear to rise in the east and set in the west due to the rotation of the Earth, so do the stars. Both solar time and sidereal time make use of the regularity of the Earth's rotation about its polar axis, solar time following the Sun while sidereal time roughly follows the stars. More exactly, sidereal time is the angle, measured from the observer's meridian, along the celestial equator, to the great circle that passes through the March equinox and both poles, and is usually expressed in hours, minutes, and seconds. Common time on a typical clock measures a slightly longer cycle, accounting not only for the Earth's axial rotation but also for the Earth's annual revolution around the Sun of slightly less than 1 degree per day (in fact to the nearest arc-second, it takes 365.2422 days to revolve therefore 360 degrees/365.2422 days = 0.9856 degrees or 59 arc-minutes, 8 arc-seconds per day, i.e., slightly less than 1 degree per day).

Sidereal time When talking about times or periods in astronomy, and added the sidereal qualifier is to point that the benchmark is the sky, the stars. The word "sidereal" comes from the Greek "Iron" (σίδερο = Sidero) and applies to the stars because the meteorites fallen from the sky had a large quantity of this metal, and old attributed the iron to stars. Well, the sidereal time is the time measured by movement of the Vernal Point (or Aries Point) on a place on the surface of the Earth. The Vernal Point (0 degrees Aries) is the point of intersection between Celestial Equator and the ecliptic plane. This point is also known as Spring Equinox and is one of the two equinoctial points. The other is its opposite, Libra point, or autumn equinox. This point is not really fixed, becau...

One of the three major gas giants, Saturn is massive, over 9 times larger than the Earth, meaning that our planet could fit inside Saturn well over 800 times. What is the make up of this massive ball of gas? What is responsible for its mesmerizing rings and what's more; are any of its many moons capable of sustaining life?

Interplanetary Colonization the state at the beginning of the 21st Century The long term survival of the human species requires that we become an interplanetary species. But we must answer two big questions: where are we going, and how do we get there? We explore what scientists know (and don’t know) about humanity’s potential future homes both inside and outside the solar system, and then we’ll dive into the technological challenges of (and potential solutions for) getting humans to and colonizing a new planet. Long the realm of science fiction, interplanetary colonization is now taken more and more seriously by scientists and space agencies alike as technologies come within reach. We will evaluate obstacles and solutions by looking at two topics: Where to go? and How to get there? Pa...

The vibration of these planets as the music of the spheres, lost knowledge from ancient civilizations, will heal the mind, soul, emotions, and consciousness, and seems to relieve anxiety. But if you suffer from a medical condition or illness, this sound session must not be used as a replacement for Doctors prescribed medication. For example, The lowest frequency is Neptunes year = 60190.0296Earth days Number of seconds for Neptune Orbit around sun=(60190.0296days*24Hours*60minutes*60seconds) The formula f = 1/t means Frequency = 1 / Timeper...
Venus is the second planet from the Sun, orbiting it every 224.7 Earth days.[14] It has the longest rotation period (245 days) of any planet in the Solar System and rotates in the opposite direction to most other planets. It has no natural satellite. It is named after the Roman goddess of love and beauty. It is the second-brightest natural object in the night sky after the Moon, reaching an apparent magnitude of −4.6, bright enough to cast shadows.[15] Because Venus is an inferior planet from Earth, it never appears to venture far from the Sun; its elongation reaches a maximum of 47.8°. Venus is a terrestrial planet and is sometimes called Earth's "sister planet" because of their similar size, mass, proximity to the Sun, and bulk composition. It is radically different from Earth in other ...
