DIE CHOKING Mini-Tour With Pyrrhon Goes Down This Week; Shows With Rotten Sound, Ramming Speed, Full Of Hell, And More Follow

Philly’s diehard tour soldiers, DIE CHOKING, take their blazing grind back out the latest run of seemingly non-stop touring in support of their III LP this week.

Beginning this Thursday, May 12th, the latest mini-tour will see the DIE CHOKING trio consecutively leveling Providence, Boston, Portland, and Syracuse through the 15th, paired with NYC avant death metal outfit, Pyrrhon, on all but the final show. Later this month will see the band performing with the likes of Rotten Sound, Ramming Speed, Full Of Hell, and others, followed by Earslaughter Fest Vol 1, Blood Rust II Fest, Full Terror Assault Fest, Rotten Fest, and much more through the rest of the year.

A video for the track “Dead Figurehead” will be released alongside additional tour dates and more in the coming days. DIE CHOKING is also currently writing material for the follow-up to III which will soon be slated for recording later in the year.

DIE CHOKING Storms The East Coast Including Useless Christ Fest And Dates With Organ Dealer This Week; New Material In The Works

DIE CHOKING continues to stampede across the planet in support of the band’s III LP, as another East Coast rampage gets underway.

Following their latest bout of tour dates with Fucking Invincible, which was preceded by their first European tour, DIE CHOKING’s new campaign leads with a set at Useless Christ Fest in their hometown of Philadelphia with the likes of Birdflesh, Suffocation, Artificial Brain, Ramming Speed, and more, tomorrow, Friday, April 8th. The next day they hit New York City for a matinee shredder at ABC No Rio I Manhattan. The band then heads back out next week, their mini-tour with Organ Dealer beginning in Chesapeake, Virginia, next Thursday, April 14th, with shows the following two nights taking place in Charlotte and Raleigh, North Carolina.

In May, DIE CHOKING heads back out on a four-day mini-tour — three of the dates with Pyrrhon — followed by shows with Rotten Sound, Ramming Speed, Full Of Hell, and others, as well as Earslaughter Fest Vol 1, Blood Rust II Fest, Full Terror Assault Fest, Rotten Fest, and much more through the rest of the year.

DIE CHOKING To Play Berserker Fest This Week + CD Version Of III Now Available

Philly grind trio, DIE CHOKING, continues to book more tour dates in their unrelenting campaign in support of their III LP, with piles of new shows booked well into the year.

Having just days ago returned their maiden tour of Europe, DIE CHOKING is already preparing to embark on another trek, this time to storm Detroit-based Berserker Fest III this weekend. They’ll hammer the audience at the opening night of Berserker alongside Conan, Cannabis Corpse, Black Tusk, Yautja this Friday, March 4th, followed by a house show in Lansing the following night before heading home.

March will see DIE CHOKING on a three-day stint with Fucking Invincible. April will have the band playing Useless Christ Fest 14 in their hometown with the likes of Birdflesh, Suffocation, Artificial Brain, Ramming Speed, and more, followed by a three-day run with Organ Dealer, and more. In May they’ll head out on a four-day mini-tour, three of the dates alongside Pyrrhon, followed by a hometown show supporting Rotten Sound and Ramming Speed, and then a newly-booked tree-day run with Snafu. DIE CHOKING will also play Earslaughter Fest Vol 1, Blood Rust II Fest, Full Terror Assault Fest, Rotten Fest, and much more throughout the remainder of 2016 with a plethora of new tour dates surrounding these festivals to be expected.

While DIE CHOKING is currently embarked on their first European tour this week, an insane new session video with drummer Joshua Cohen has been released through Cvlt Nation. Showcasing some of the scene’s most creatively destructive percussion, Cohen and ripping bandmates, bassist/vocalist Paul Herzog and guitarist Jeffrey Daniels, here slay through multiple tracks from their unrelenting III LP.

DIE CHOKING began their first European venture in recent days, as the Grind Is The New Black tour sees them paired with Paris-based Department Of Correction for most of the month. Having already shredded through Paris, Roubaix, London, Bristol, and Newcastle, with Liverpool on the menu for tonight, the tour runs straight through the 27th, including a set at the first DeathFist Fest in Nantes.

DIE CHOKING’s III has been issued glowing accolades from international punk and metal press outlets and bewildered fans who have witnessed the trio deploying the LP’s ripping anthems live. III will now be issued on CD, the disc being made available on their European tour. DIE CHOKING: Street Date For CD Version Of III Confirmed Through The Compound And Selfmadegod; Massive Winter/Spring Tour Schedule Forms

Philadelphia hypergrind trio, DIE CHOKING, has finalized the itinerary for their maiden European tour with Department Of Correction this February, coinciding with the CD release of their III debut LP. The band will tackle upstate New York this weekend, and has announced a ton of additional 2016 tour dates as well.

Surrounding its initial deluxe vinyl release through Earsplit’s The Compound Recs in October, DIE CHOKING’s III has been issued glowing accolades from international punk and metal press outlets and bewildered fans who have witnessed the trio deploying the LP’s ripping anthems live. III will now be issued on CD as the band raids Europe for the first time. From February 12th through the 27th, DIE CHOKING will partner with Paris-based Department Of Correction for a two-week tour across Europe, the shows heavily concentrated in the UK and France, and including a set at the first DeathFist Fest in Nantes. The CD version of III will be available exclusively to tour attendees on all dates, and then see public availability on February 26th, in Europe via Selfmadegod Records and in the US via The Compound Recs/Earsplit Distro.

DIE CHOKING plays Syracuse and Ithaca, New York this Saturday, January 8th and Sunday, January 9th, both shows with upstate grinders, Sulaco (ex-Brutal Truth, Napalm Death). The band also continues to book gigs through the first half of 2016, this week being confirmed to take part in Berserker III Fest in Detroit in early March, joining Macabre, Black Tusk, Yautja, Mutilation Rites, Conan, Voivod, Ghoul, Fucking Invincible and tons more. DIE CHOKING Prepares For East Coast US Live Dates And European Tour With Department Of Correction Supporting III LP

In the smoldering wake of their III LP’s release through The Compound Recs, and widespread US tour actions, Philly hypergrinders DIE CHOKING are ready to hit the East Coast with two bursts of tour dates in preparation for their first European tour in February.

DIE CHOKING will take part in this year’s 305 Fest in Miami, Florida on December 12th, performing alongside the likes of D.R.I., Noisear, Lower Class Brats and many others, the show preceded by a gig in Asheville on the way down and Tallahassee after the fest, completing a three-day raid of the Southeast Coast. January sees the band headed north, with a pair of upstate New York shows in Syracuse and Ithaca with Sulaco on January 8th and 9th.

February will take DIE CHOKING to Europe for the very first time for a two-week tour with France’s Department Of Correction. Grind Is The New Black is set to run from February 12th through 27th, the tour heavily concentrated on the UK and France, and includes a set at the first DeathFist Fest in Nantes. The final few shows will be finalized in the next few days, but the rest of the routing has been revealed.

Additional DIE CHOKING tour dates with Pyrrhon, Organ Dealer and more are also in the works for the Spring of 2016.

The deluxe 12” vinyl edition of DIE CHOKING’s debut LP, III, is out this Friday via The Compound Recs, following its digital release less than two weeks ago, as the band begins to hit the West Coast on tour in support of the album.

Recorded with producer Will Yip at Studio 4 (Lauryn Hill, Circa Survive, Title Fight) and mastered by Brad Boatright (Nails, Integrity, Full Of Hell) at Audiosiege, DIE CHOKING’s III unloads faster BPM’s than you’ll endure anywhere in the punk/metal world this year, with more grindcore/crust punk wrath than ever surging through the eleven brand new tracks. The staggeringly destructive LP continues to rampage fans and media outlets, with a feature on DIE CHOKING in the November issue of Decibel Magazine — including a mention on the cover — and this week the album has been featured in the new installment of the Pirates Press Record Of The Week blog, unveiling the three color variants for the first time.

Philadelphia’s uncompromising hyperthrash/grindcore trio, DIE CHOKING, will digitally deploy their debut full-length this week in the form of III, via The Compound Recs, with the vinyl to see release in two weeks. With the initial release now just days away, Stereogum lets the beast off the chain early with an exclusive stream of the entire album.

DIE CHOKING’s III picks up where their prior self-titled and II 7” EP’s left off, unloading the band’s incredibly harsh views on humankind’s treacherous ways with even more intense levels of scathing and cynical wrath through eleven brand new tracks. Recorded with producer Will Yip at the renowned Studio 4 (Lauryn Hill, Blacklisted, Cop Problem) with and mastered by Brad Boatright (Nails, Integrity, Full Of Hell) at Audiosiege. Stripped of overproduction and performed with devastating efficiency, with no samples or triggers utilized in the recording and mixing process, the record captures a concentrated dose of the densest grindcore ever created and one of 2015’s most extreme recordings.

Another vicious portion of antagonized grindcore vengeance from DIE CHOKING is today rammed down the public’s collective throat courtesy of Bloody-Disgusting, as the massive horror culture site premieres “Millirem,” the opening track from the trio’s rapidly approaching III debut LP.

DIE CHOKING will also embark on a Northeastern blast of tour dates this week, now dubbed, Escape The Pope 2015, as this pontiff character invades the region making daily life insufferable for all nonbelievers dwelling near several major cities, including the band’s hometown of Philadelphia.

DIE CHOKING’s III —recorded at the renowned Studio 4 (Lauryn Hill, Blacklisted, Cop Problem) with producer Will Yip and mastered by Brad Boatright (Nails, Integrity, Full Of Hell) at Audiosiege — is a record stripped of overproduction and performed with devastating efficiency, with no samples or triggers utilized in the recording and mixing process, resulting in some of the densest grindcore ever captured, and one of the year’s most unfuckwithable releases. With III now less than three weeks from its initial street date via Earsplit’s DIY sect, The Compound Recs, the violent album-opening “Millirem” is delivered as an appropriate warning shot as to what listeners should expect from the additional ten tracks III beholds. It’s a blistering, whiplash-inducing beatdown of immeasurable proportions, as described by founding bassist/vocalist Paul Herzog, “This song represents an uncontrolled outburst of radiation at an instant of birth or death.
