The Mount Washington Auto Road an 8 mile toll road that extends from New Hampshire Route 16 in Pinkham Notch to the summit of Mount Washington in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. The road climbs 4,618 feet from an altitude of 1,527 feet at the bottom to 6,145 feet at the top, an average gradient of 11.6%. The road was completed and opened to the public in 1861. Due to its remarkable location, weather, and history, the Mount Washington Auto Road is unlike any other driving experience in the Eastern United States. A trip on Mount Washington Auto Road is a one-of-a-kind experience offering ever-changing weather extremes, panoramic views and the opportunity to pass through four distinct climate zones as you climb to the highest peak in the Northeast. Travis Pastrana crushed the Mt. Washington Hillclimb record reaching the 6288’ summit in a stunning 5:44.72. The #199 WRX STI with a specially fitted 600hp engine actually beat the record two times, running a 5:46.28 on the first attempt up the twisty 7.4 mile race course. This is just shy of a twenty-five second gain on the old record of 6:09.09 held by Subaru Rally Team USA teammate, David Higgins, from 2014.

The 149-year-old Mt. Washington Auto Road has seen the likes of horses and carriages, camels, people, bicycles and most famously, competition race cars. On September 8th, Traveling at an average speed of nearly 72mph in a Vermont SportsCar prepared, BFGoodrich Tires-shod 2011 Subaru Impreza WRX STI rally car, four-time Rally America National Champion Travis Pastrana made sure the project name, Red Bull Speed Chasers, lived up to its name. He reached the summit faster than anyone else in history by clocking an officially timed run of 6 minutes 20.47 seconds, besting the previous record by more than twenty seconds.

Mount Washington, Baltimore
Mount Washington is an area of northwest Baltimore, Maryland. It is a designated city historic district and divided into two sections: South Road/Sulgrave to the Southeast and Dixon's Hill to the North.
Description
Historically, Mount Washington was a small area. However, residents and businesses of many other nearby neighborhoods in the 21209 zip code and a small portion of the 21215 zip code (west of Pimlico Road) where the neighborhood is located refer to their location as Mount Washington. Though mostly within the Baltimore city limits, but mixed with some of these areas within Baltimore County as Pikesville.
The Mount Washington neighborhood is served by the Mount Washington Improvement Association (), which, though not speaking on behalf of all the neighborhood's residents, wields significant political clout in Baltimore.
The actual Mount Washington is mostly residential, though it has two small commercial areas:

Mount Washington (British Columbia)
Mount Washington is a mountain on the eastern edge of the Vancouver Island Ranges of British Columbia and the site of the popular Mount Washington Alpine Resort. It is located approximately 25 km (16 mi) from the Comox Valley.
The mountain was named after Rear Admiral John Washington, official Hydrographer, British Royal Navy, by Captain George Richards while charting the West Coast in the 1860s.
In the summer, Mount Washington has many trails for mountain bikers, and offers scenic chair lifts and hiking trails to visitors.
Mount Washington is home to the Vancouver Island marmot, one of the planet's most endangered mammals. Found in the wild only on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, the Vancouver Island marmot differs significantly from other marmot species. In an effort to increase Vancouver Island marmot populations, the Vancouver Island Marmot Recovery Foundation has established captive breeding facilities across Canada. The largest of these is the Tony Barrett Marmot Recovery Centre located on Mount Washington.

The Mount Washington Auto Road an 8 mile toll road that extends from New Hampshire Route 16 in Pinkham Notch to the summit of Mount Washington in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. The road climbs 4,618 feet from an altitude of 1,527 feet at the bottom to 6,145 feet at the top, an average gradient of 11.6%. The road was completed and opened to the public in 1861. Due to its remarkable location, weather, and history, the Mount Washington Auto Road is unlike any other driving experience in the Eastern United States. A trip on Mount Washington Auto Road is a one-of-a-kind experience offering ever-changing weather extremes, panoramic views and the opportunity to pass through four distinct climate zones as you climb to the highest peak in the Northeast. The #199 WRX STI with a specially fitted 600hp engine actually beat the record two times, running a 5:46.28 on the first attempt up the twisty 7.4 mile race course. This is just shy of a twenty-five second gain on the old record of 6:09.09 held by Subaru Rally Team USA teammate, David Higgins, from 2014.

The 149-year-old Mt. Washington Auto Road has seen the likes of horses and carriages, camels, people, bicycles and most famously, competition race cars. On September 8th, Traveling at an average speed of nearly 72mph in a Vermont SportsCar prepared, BFGoodrich Tires-shod 2011 Subaru Impreza WRX STI rally car, four-time Rally America National Champion Travis Pastrana made sure the project name, Red Bull Speed Chasers, lived up to its name. He reached the summit faster than anyone else in history by clocking an officially timed run of 6 minutes 20.47 seconds, besting the previous record by more than twenty seconds.

The 149-year-old Mt. Washington Auto Road has seen the likes of horses and carriages, camels, people, bicycles and most famously, competition race cars. On September 8th, Traveling at an average speed of nearly 72mph in a Vermont SportsCar prepared, BFGoodrich Tires-shod 2011 Subaru Impreza WRX STI rally car, four-time Rally America National Champion Travis Pastrana made sure the project name, Red Bull Speed Chasers, lived up to its name. He reached the summit faster than anyone else in history by clocking an officially timed run of 6 minutes 20.47 seconds, besting the previous record by more than twenty seconds.
