A semi-automated analysis investigating the change in area between a puffed out and non-puffed out turkey was performed by fitting a region-of-interest (ROI) around each turkey using local intensity variations to track the contour boundary. The outline of each ROI was superimposed onto the original image and the respective areas were measured. The outputted areas were normalized relative to each other using key landmarks within the image to account for size changes due to depth perception.

Turkey Shaped Buckeye Peanut Butter Balls from Cookies Cupcakes and Cardio
Read the blog post here: http://cookiescupcakesandcardio.com/?p=5877
Learn how to make buckeye peanut butter balls in the shape of turkeys for Thanksgiving dessert in this video tutorial
Ingredients:
• Chocolate baking squares (or chips, or melting wafers)
• Peanut butter melting wafers (or tan colored chocolate)
• 1/4 cup butter
• 1 cup peanut butter
• 3 cups icing sugar
• Orange candy coloured sunflower seeds
• Small red heart sprinkles
• Candy eyeballs
Procedure:
1. Melt chocolate in 30 second intervals in the microwave at 50% power, or use a double boiler.
2. Using a silicone oval mold (get it here: http://amzn.to/1xLZKE1), fill cavities with 1 tablespoon of melted chocolate. Place in fridge to harden. Repeat with a second coat of chocolate, ensuring that all holes, or gabs are filled in.
3. Melt more chocolate into a piping bag, and snip a small piece of the tip with scissors.
4. On a baking tray, lined with a piece of parchment paper, pipe out the outline of tail feathers for the turkey. Place into the fridge to harden once one set of feathers per turkey has been completed.
5. Once feather outlines are hardened, fill in the tail feather out line with the melted peanut butter chocolate, which is also in a piping bag.
6. With the peanut butter chocolate, also pipe small feet for the turkey.
7. Place tray into the fridge to harden.
8. To make the peanut butter filling, cream butter and peanut butter together in a medium sized bowl, using a large spoon.
9. Add the icing sugar and mix until combined. Mixture will look grainy, but if pressed together, balls will be able to be formed.
10. Remove hardened chocolate cavities from the fridge and fill each cavity with peanut butter filling.
11. Once each cavity is filled, cover peanut butter mixture with melted chocolate, sealing the peanut butter inside. Ensure that there are no gaps of chocolate. Return to fridge to solidify.
12. Once chocolate and peanut butter cavities are completely solid, you can remove them from the silicone mold.
13. Using melted chocolate, attach eyes, beak and wattle to the turkey's face. Then the tail feather and feet.
14. Serve when desired once the chocolate is set.
15. These are best kept in the fridge in a sealed conatiner, for 2-3 days.

Tens of thousands of screaming supporters massed outside the offices of Istanbul's pro-Islamic mayor on Thursday (24/09), enraged by a prison sentence that could end his future as one of the next leaders of Turkey's Islamic movement. Authorities deployed armored personnel carriers near city hall and blocked off the nearby highway with riot police to contain the 30,000-strong demonstration for Mayor Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Turkey is set to finally acquire an archaeology institute after many years of waiting, with Gaziantep Mayor Fatma Şahin set to convene with archaeologists in the southeastern province in the coming days to outline details about the institute.
According to 2014 data, Turkey is currently home to 117 Turkish and 36 foreign excavations. Also, 82 scientific archaeological surface surveys are being conducted by Turkey while 14 are being conducted by foreign countries.
The move will finally give Turkey its own archaeological institute, the Anatolian Archaeology Institute of Turkey, having already witnessed the establishment of German, Austrian, American, French, British, Japanese and Dutch archaeological institutes on its soil.
Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality has been continuing diplomatic talks with the European Union for the establishment of the institute, with the 28-member union providing 10 million euros of support. Ninety percent of the institute’s budget will be provided by the EU, while the remainder will come from national sources.
The idea for the establishment of the institute emerged in June 2014 during the announcement of the results of 2014 archaeological works in Turkey. Foreseeing its contributions to European cultural heritage, the EU provided a large amount of support to the project.
As part of the project, scientific archaeological works and research will be conducted in Anatolia, seminars will be organized, publications on Anatolian archaeology will be released and a history of religions library will be established. The works of the institute will start on an international level in April.
“During my nearly 12-year parliamentarian term, I have done my best to take steps on the historical and cultural areas of Gaziantep. I have always been aware of this heritage in this land where I was born, grew up and live. Guests first ask ‘What do you have?’ when visiting your homeland. One of our answers is archaeological findings,” Şahin said.
“But we have failed to promote them to the world. During a symposium in Gaziantep, I learned that we had no institute for Anatolian archaeology. For the issue, we contacted our Foreign Ministry, EU Minister Volkan Bozkır, the Culture and Tourism Ministry and the European Commission Turkish Delegation. The project drew the attention of the EU thanks to its possible contributions to the European culture and was accepted,” she said.
Each country that performs excavations in Turkey has an institute at the same time. Financial support given to the excavations and scientific data are provided by the institutes. Although there are 117 Turkish excavations, Turkey does not have a scientific institute to gather data from Turkish archaeological work.
Universities have almost no communication with each other except through publications. An institute is very important in bringing together all excavations.
Still, because the institute will be under the auspices of Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality, there are concerns that it could be prevented from becoming a center of Turkish archaeology. To militate against such a situation, there have been situations that an academic committee from universities be formed, with the panel electing the chairman of the institute for each term.
The administration should also be inspected by and be the recipient of funds from the Culture and Tourism Ministry even though it is administrated by the metropolitan municipality, according to suggestions.
The institute will also make a significant contribution to employment in the archaeological field.

TURKEY: ISTANBUL: MAYOR LAUNCHES ATTACK ON JUSTICE SYSTEM
Turkish/Nat
The pro-Islamic mayor of Istanbul and thousands of his supporters have launched an attack on Turkey's justice system after an appeals court upheld his prison sentence.
The ruling threatens to bring an end to the political career of Tayyip Erdogan, seen as a future leader of Turkey's Islamic movement.
Erdogan was sentenced to 10 months in jail by a lesser court in April on charges of inciting religious hatred in a speech criticised as encouraging Islamic extremism.
Thousands of supporters of Tayyip Erdogan, the pro-Islamic mayor of Istanbul, turned out in front of the municipal offices in Ankara on Thursday.
Their target was Turkey's justice system after an appeals court upheld Erdogan's 10-month prison sentence.
Wednesday's ruling threatens to end the political career of Erdogan, who had been seen as a future leader of Turkey's Islamic movement.
Erdogan was sentenced by a lesser court in April of inciting religious hatred in a speech criticised as encouraging Islamic extremism.
Because he was convicted of a crime against the republic, Erdogan will now be stripped of his position as the head of Turkey's largest city and banned from ever again holding public office.
He has two weeks to ask the appeals court to reconsider, but appeals courts very rarely overturn their own verdicts.
Erdogan described the sentence as a political plot by his opponents to prevent the rise of his Islamic Virtue Party.
At a news conference in Istanbul, the leader of the Virtue Party gave Erdogan his support and said Istanbul would vote for another pro-Islamic mayor.

"Istanbulites, the replacement for Erdogan will win twice as many votes from our supporters as Erdogan himself did when he became mayor."
SUPER CAPTION: Recai Kutan, Leader of the pro-Islamic Virtue Party
Erdogan said the sentence had shaken the belief of millions of people in justice.
SOUNDBITE: (Turkish)
"I was found guilty just for reading a poem, and I would like to outline that this is a tragedy and an embarrassment to our legal history."
SUPER CAPTION: Tayyip Erdogan, pro-Islamic Mayor of Istanbul
Insisting on his innocence, he said his people would decide on his position in politics.
SOUNDBITE: (Turkish)
"After this result it is quite clear that, as the chief judge said at the opening of this legal year, our legal system is far from independent."
SUPER CAPTION: Tayyip Erdogan, pro-Islamic Mayor of Istanbul
Erdogan had hoped to take over the leadership of Virtue, the new Islamic party formed to replace the Welfare party.
Welfare was shut down by the Constitutional Court in February for anti-secular activity.
The fiercely secular military was instrumental in outlawing Welfare and maintains pressure on the government to crack down on what it perceives as Islamist threats.

If such a decision is taken then we will of course abide by it and would make the best use of it for the interests of the Afghanistan people. But in any case, whether that project arises or not, we shall give great importance to the economic, social, cultural and educational development of Afghanistan The main issue in Afghanistan is that it has no national army. Yet Afghanistan is situated in a very critical part of the world, politically. So the major and primary situation would be to establish a national army."

In an exclusive AP interview Turkey's Prime Minister said on Friday that he will outline Turkish concerns over any military action against Iraq when he visits Washington next week.
Turkey, the NATO member with the second largest army and close US ally, has been a strong supporter of the US- anti-terrorism campaign, but it fears that a US operation against Iraq could lead to the formation of a Kurdish state in the areas of northern Iraq that border Turkey.

Turkey’s energy minister has said the country could receive $100 million from Greece after an international court ruled in Ankara’s favor over a gas and debt dispute.
The Paris-based International Court of Arbitration ruled yesterday on a case taken by Turkey's state-owned pipeline corporation BOTAS against Greece’s natural-gas company DEPA.
Four years ago, unable to repay debt to Turkey, Greece was expected to outline a plan for payment. However, BOTAS officials took the issue to the Paris court, Energy Minister Taner Yildiz, told reporters in Kayseri, central Turkey on Thursday.
"Despite the fact that we are sorry for Greece and what the country is facing now, we have to prioritize our citizens and their needs," Yildiz said, adding that BOTAS and DEPA will negotiate and calculate the amount of the fee which Greece will pay to Turkey.

"Russia is forced to withdraw from the South Stream project due to the EU’s unwillingness to support the pipeline, and gas flows will be redirected to other customers, Vladimir Putin said after talks with his Turkish counterpart, Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
"We believe that the stance of the European Commission was counterproductive. In fact, the European Commission not only provided no help in implementation of [the South Stream pipeline], but, as we see, obstacles were created to its implementation. Well, if Europe doesn’t want it implemented, it won’t be implemented,” the Russian president said.
According to Putin, the Russian gas “will be retargeted to other regions of the world, which will be achieved, among other things, through the promotion and accelerated implementation of projects involving liquefied natural gas.”
“We’ll be promoting other markets and Europe won’t receive those volumes, at least not from Russia. We believe that it doesn’t meet the economic interests of Europe and it harms our cooperation. But such is the choice of our European friends,” he said.
The South Stream project is at the stage when “the construction of the pipeline system in the Black Sea must begin,” but Russia still hasn’t received an approval for the project from Bulgaria, the Russian president said.
Investing hundreds of millions of dollars into the pipeline, which would have to stop when it reaches Bulgarian waters, is “just absurd, I hope everybody understands that,” he said.
Putin believes that Bulgaria “isn’t acting like an independent state” by delaying the South Stream project, which would be profitable for the country.
He advised the Bulgarian leadership “to demand loss of profit damages from the European Commission” as the country could have been receiving around 400 million euros annually through gas transit.
The South Stream was intended to transport Russian gas through the Black Sea to Bulgaria – and through Serbia, Hungary, and Slovenia, further to Austria.
Russian gas giant Gazprom began construction of the onshore facilities for the pipeline back in 2012.
But the €23.5 billion project ran into difficulties, as it violated European Union regulations which state that the same company cannot both own the pipeline and the gas which is transported through it.
The crisis in Ukraine has turned the legal debate over the pipeline into a political issue, affecting the EU’s willingness to find a solution to the deadlock.
The EU Commission has been pressuring member states to withdraw from the project, with the new Bulgarian government saying it will not allow Gazprom to lay the pipeline without permission from Brussels.
Putin said that Russia is ready to build a new pipeline to meet Turkey’s growing gas demand, which may include a special hub on the Turkish-Greek border for customers in southern Europe.
For now, the supply of Russian gas to Turkey will be raised by 3 billion cubic meters via the already operating Blue Stream pipeline, he said. Last year, 13.7 bcm of gas were supplied to Turkeyvia Blue Stream, according to Reuters.
Moscow will also reduce the gas price for Turkish customers by 6 percent from January 1, 2015, Putin said.
“We are ready to further reduce gas prices along with the implementation of our joint large-scale projects," he added.
Russia, Turkey don’t want chaos in Syria
The Russian president has said that Turkey is an important participant of the peace process in Syria, outlining the many similarities that Moscow and Ankrara have regarding the issue.
"We share a common opinion that the situation in Syria can’t be considered adequate, we share a common opinion that we don’t want to allow chaos in the region and the strengthening of terrorist organizations like it happened in Iraq," he said.
According to Putin, it is important to create the conditions under which all citizens of Syria will feel safe and have equal access to governance.
“We certainly need to find an acceptable solution – first of all, acceptable for the Syrian people and all political forces in the country. And, definitely, we’re going to stay in contact with all participants in this process, including our friends in Turkey,” he stressed.
However, the sides still disagree on the future of Syrian President Bashar Assad, which Ankara wants removed from power.
"We sincerely expressed our attitude towards this [Assad's] regime. Mr. President has another stance on the issue. But in general, we have reached a certain agreement on [the] resolution of the Syrian conflict,” Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said.
“The only thing that we were unable to agree on is the way to resolve the crisis," he added.
A civil war between Syria's government forces and the Islamist opposition has been raging in Syria since 2011, taking over 200,000 lives, according to UN estimates."

The Grand Basare is a city within a city. Through a large gate there is a labyrinth of corridors that were built over many centuries. The enclosed market contains more than four thousand shops within its seemingly endless halls and it is possible to buy almost anything here. A vivid world full of the aromas of the orient. Near to the west coast of Turkey situated between Troy and Ephesos is one of the most famous and well preserved ancient cities of this region, Pergamon. This, in the Hellenic era, was an ancient cosmopolitan city the traces of which are still visible today. Marmaris is situated on the Turkish Riviera and was once well protected by a mediaeval fortress. In 1522 Sultan Süleyman The Splendid enlarged the small castle of the former Roman rulers as he wished to conquer the island of Rhodes. Ankara is the capital of the Republic of Turkey and this once Anatolian provincial backwater is today one of the country’s most modern cities and is a vibrant world metropolis. The biggest mosque in Turkey is the Kocatepe Camii which is both a symbol of the devoutness of the Turkish people as well as being an important centre of communication for the entire city. Turkey is a country of many faces, with fairytale-like mosques and palaces, legendary ancient cities and fascinating landscapes. It is a link between Asia and Europe, between East and West and an historic bridge between both Orient and Occident.

Travel video about destination Istanbul in Turkey.
Istanbul is the golden gateway to the Orient, a city that was once the centre of the Old World and still reflects two and a half centuries of history. Today, this turbulent metropolis on the Bosporus is Europe's connection with Asia Minor.
Today, this link between Europe and Asia has more than 15 million inhabitants and is not only Turkey's largest city, but is also a melting pot of various cultures. Once a Greek colony, Roman Imperial City and capital of the Osman Empire, Istanbul is full of colorful and dramatic history.
The European-style city district on the northern side of the Golden Horn was founded as a trading colony by Genoese traders in 1261. In subsequent centuries, the Europeans dominated the appearance and character of this area whose buildings and main street indicate the city's splendid past.
The Basilica Yerebatan Cistern once provided Constantinople with its water supply. Emperor Justinian I had this subterranean reservoir built. It holds 80,000 cubic metres of water. A forest of more than 300 decorated stone columns support the ceiling and it once served as a backdrop for a James Bond film.
A mighty gate is the entrance to the splendid world of the Turkish sultans, Topkapi Palace, the former centre of power of the Osman Empire. It's like a small town with many exquisite buildings and wonderful parks.
Leonardo Da Vinci's vision of a bridge across the Bosporus was for many years only a dream, but 470 years later, the dream became reality. At a height of 64 metres, two city districts have been united in addition to two continents and the contrasting lifestyles of two completely different worlds.
Istanbul is a melting pot of culture and religion with a captivating allure and an irresistible atmosphere of mystique.

Take a tour of Cotton Castle in Turkey -- part of the World's Greatest Attractions series by GeoBeats.
The carbonate mineral deposits have formed the pristine white Pamukkale in southern Turkey.
Pamukkale is Turkish for cotton castle, even though it is made up of travertine limestone run-off from the area's hot springs.
This slow moving rock formation creates dazzling stalactites and terraces
The natural hot springs have drawn tourists to this site for thousands of years.
This site is the former home of Hierapolis, a Roman Bath town.
The waters here are said to be good for the skin and eyes, and can be a remedy for asthma as well.
Shoes must be worn in the hot springs, to protect the deposits of this UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The Shroud of Turin, a 14-foot cloth in which many believe Jesus Christ was buried, may be the most studied artifact in history—and the most controversial. For centuries, scientists and historians have pored over this bloodstained piece of linen that bears the faint outline of a crucified man, hoping to uncover what the image represents and how it was created.
The first documented reference to the shroud dates back to the 14th century. Historical records suggest it changed hands many times until 1578, when it wound up in its current home—the Cathedral of Saint John the Baptist in Turin, Italy. The Catholic

The GPM utility-scale report analyzes PV competitiveness in wholesale energy markets and provides an outline of the electricity regulation in six different countries (Chile, Italy, Mexico, Morocco, Turkey and USA (Texas)).
While previous GPM reports were oriented to residential and commercial customers operating under a net metering scheme, this GPM issue focuses the analysis in the generation parity. As such, the report determines a theoretical tariff which fulfils profitability requirements of investors. This required tariff is compared to local wholesale prices in order to determine if generation parity exists in the country.
The methodology for such exercise will be explained and the conclusions and lessons will be presented.
This is part of the Photovoltaic Grid Parity Monitor series.

Go to google books and look up herb books to see what herbs do what off of published books with isbn numbers for free.

"Complete disarmament" of the American people
Paul Joseph Watson
Infowars.com
Monday, July 16, 2012
The UN Arms Trade Treaty that has been identified by observers as a flagrant threat to the second amendment and which Barack Obama is determined to sign has its roots in a 1961 State Department memorandum which explains how the United Nations will oversee "complete disarmament" of the American people under the ruse of preventing war. The UN Arms Treaty has caused so much controversy because it outlines a plan to target "all types of conventional weapons, notably including small arms and light weapons," according to Forbes' Larry Bell.
Former US Ambassador to the UN John Bolton also warns that the agreement "is trying to act as though this is really just a treaty about international arms trade between nation states, but there is no doubt that the real agenda here is domestic firearms control."
A letter sent last month by 130 Republican House members to President Obama argued that the treaty should be rejected because it infringes on the "fundamental, individual right to keep and bear arms". The letter adds that "...the U.N.'s actions to date indicate that the ATT is likely to pose significant threats to our national security, foreign policy, and economic interests as well as our constitutional rights."
Using the rhetoric of the threat post by terrorists, insurgents and "international crime syndicates," the UN is busy trying to imply that all weapons are somehow involved in illegal activity on a global scale and should therefore be controlled and regulated by a global authority.
This is precisely the same language used in a 1961 U.S. State Department briefing which outlined a long term agenda to carry out a "Program for General and Complete Disarmament in a Peaceful World."
Invoking the threat of nuclear warfare, the document spells out a plan to create a "United Nations Peace Force" that would "enforce the peace as the disarmament process proceeds."
While the document initially focuses on scrapping nuclear weapons, it later makes it clear that the only groups allowed to own weapons of any kind would be governing authorities, "for the purpose of maintaining internal order," and the UN "peacekeeping" force itself, which would require "agreed manpower."
"The manufacture of armaments would be prohibited except for those of agreed types and quantities to be used by the U.N. Peace Force and those required to maintain internal order. All other armaments would be destroyed or converted to peaceful purposes," states the document. While the memorandum outlines a broader mandate to destroy national sovereignty, eviscerate national armies and institute the UN as the planet's supreme authority with a world army, the document serves as a stark reminder that the plan for the United Nations to oversee the abolition of the second amendment has been in the works for decades.
As Bell points out in his Forbes article, the threat of the Obama administration relying on a UN treaty to do what successive administrations have tried but failed to accomplish -- taking a huge bite out of the second amendment -- is by no means far fetched.
After all, a plethora of UN treaties and international agreements have already stripped the United States of its sovereignty and its power to decide its own laws. The power to authorize U.S. involvement in wars and conflicts has now been almost completely stripped from Congress and handed to the United Nations.

The Catholic Church has never taken an official position on the cloth’s authenticity, but the Vatican has made statements attesting to its value and arranged for public viewings.
The advent of photography in the late 19th century forever altered the course of the shroud’s history. In 1898, a lawyer named Secondo Pia took the first known photograph of the cloth, and his negative revealed new details—including strikingly clear facial features—that could not be observed with the naked eye. Scientific interest in the relic immediately picked up. In 1902, the French anatomist Yves Delage, an agnostic, inspected the photographs and pronounced that the figure on the shroud was indeed Jesus Christ.
The first direct examinations of the cloth were conducted in the 1970s, most famously by the Shroud of Turin Research Project (STURP), a team of scientists led by physicist John P. Jackson of the University of Colorado. The group found that the markings on the cloth were consistent with a crucified body and that the stains were real human blood; they also suggested that the image’s shading patterns contained three-dimensional information. They could not explain how the imprint ended up on the fabric in the first place.
In 1988, scientists removed a swatch of the shroud for radiocarbon testing. Three independent laboratories concluded that the material originated between 1260 and 1390, leading some to deem it inauthentic. Since then, however, further studies have cast doubt on those results, suggesting that the shroud may indeed date back to the time of Jesus Christ’s life and death.
In March 2010, researchers unveiled a revolutionary radiocarbon dating method that could allow scientists to safely establish accurate ages for precious artifacts like the Shroud of Turin. Unlike traditional carbon dating, the new process does not require samples; instead, the entire object is exposed to an electrically charged gas that gently oxidizes its surface without causing damage. This means that, someday soon, the world may have a more precise estimate of the Shroud of Turin’s real age.

Leaders and lawyers representing the Catholicosate of Cilicia held a press conference earlier today at the National Press Club to discuss their lawsuit against the Turkish Government seeking the return of the historic seat of the Catholicosate, located in Sis (currently Kozan), one-time capital of Cilician Armenia, reported the Armenian National Committee of America (ANCA).
The press conference featured remarks by Archbishop Oshagan Choloyan, Prelate of the Armenian Apostolic Church of the Eastern United States; Teny Pirri-Simonian, Senior Advisor to the Armenian Catholicosate of Cilicia; Payam Akhavan, former UN prosecutor at The Hague and lead international counsel in this case, and; Cem Sofuoglu, Turkish human rights lawyer and local counsel. They were joined by ANCA Executive Director Aram Hamparian, who shared the Armenian American community's support for the just legal claims of the Armenian Church and, more broadly, spoke to the efforts of Armenians worldwide to secure international justice for the Armenian Genocide.

Erdogan said the sentence had shaken the belief of millions of people in justice.

"I was found guilty just for reading a poem, and I would like to outline that this is a tragedy and an embarrassment to our legal history."

Insisting on his innocence, he said his people would decide on his position in politics.
SOUNDBITE: (Turkish)

SUPER CAPTION: Tayyip Erdogan, pro-Islamic Mayor of Istanbul
Erdogan had hoped to take over the leadership of Virtue, the new Islamic party formed to replace the Welfare party.
Welfare was shut down by the Constitutional Court in February for anti-secular activity.
The fiercely secular military was instrumental in outlawing Welfare and maintains pressure on the government to crack down on what it perceives as Islamist threats.

"Actually Turkey's strategic importance has increased after the ending of the bipolar world and after the 11th September's tragic event the value of Turkey's regime- that is a largely Islamic populated country with a secular regime and democracy and a modern way of life. This is becoming increasingly an example to be followed by many Islamic countries and we hope that better understanding and further understanding will emerge here with Turkey's contribution between different religions."

7. SOUNDBITE: (English) Bulent Ecevit, Turkish Prime Minister
"Q: Will Turkey take over the command of the peace keeping force in Afghanistan?
A: "We have news or rumours that this may be the case but we have not been officially informed that this will be possible.

9. SOUNDBITE: (English) Bulent Ecevit, Turkish Prime Minister
"You see, our defence expenditure will very much increase because of our prospective contributions to the situation in Afghanistan. We will send a unit, we will send several articles needed there etc, and this will further increase our economic problems. The United States knows that, so either support for our defence expenditure in that region, or reduction of our duties will be much appreciated,"

11. SOUNDBITE: (English) Bulent Ecevit, Turkish Prime Minister
"Well thus far we have not received any indication to that effect and we don't yet know what will be the attitude of the present American administration with regard to Iraq. Different voices are heard from the United States even from official circles on that issue. So I can't go into specifics in that respect but I am sure that we will have an opportunity of discussing the situation with regard to Iraq while in Washington."

13. SOUNDBITE: (English) Bulent Ecevit, Turkish Prime Minister
"Accepting the reality that exists in Cyprus is essential. Unless the existing reality is accepted much progress may be not take place. What I mean by the 'existing situation' is that there are two different,t separate states and communities in Cyprus and we need to keep that in mind. The Turks and the Greeks on the island can reach, I am sure, agreement step by step on many issues. We hope that dialogue between Mr Denktash and Mr Clerides may yield some positive results but as long as the United States takes an active interest in Cyprus, it will be very difficult to solve the problem of Cyprus. "

STORYLINE:

Travel video about destination Turkey.
Turkey, ‘the land beneath the half moon’. We begin our journey in Istanbul, golden gateway to the Orient, a city that was once the centre of the Old World and still reflects two and a half centuries of history. On the opposite side of the Galata Bridge on the banks of the Golden Horn is the Yeni Cami Mosque with a large number of domes and minarets built one on top of the other plus a number of precious glass windows.

How to have a plentiful supply of herbs for next to nothing: 7-10 dollars for a 6+ month supply:
Go to http://www.bulkfoods.com/nutritional/4312-vitamin-c-ascorbic-acid.html for vitamin C powder in bulk and go to http://www.herbco.com/ for herbs and vegetable capsules. Get a 1/4" thick wood board at Lowes and drill 100 holes in it just wide enough that vegetable capules will squeeze through and stay. Duct tape / glue fabric around the perimiter and fill all the holes with vegetable capsules, then sweep the powdered herbs and vitamines into the vegetable capsules with a paint brush from the pound of powdered herbs and vitamins you ordered above (7 dollars a pound to 10 dollars a pound and 7 dollars for 500 capsules) then push the capsules up a bit and set wooden dowels through holes in the plate just high enough that the wood and capsules sit low enough that the capsules poke up through the wood enough to cap them and then push them all the way out and put them into a baggie with a label on it.
