Gigantic - Not so typical boy meets girl story, that is delusional and twisted. Fairly a bit like this media driven existence since the primary characters all act like they are at the top of their game (Like they are on some sort of metaphysical stage.). Intermixed with the controversy of brutal and crazy honesty, there lies a hair of reality. Its the hair of reality you have to see to feel. Side-lining the story the male primary character has a recurrent assailant which breaks up the stream of events, in a mysterious way. The modern delusions held by the primary character are complex and hard to comprehend, even as the movie comes to a close. Nevertheless the delusions are made real leaving you truly pondering something outside the box (brain). As the story progresses and you learn much more about the primary character, his existence gets entangles with those you are introduced to. One is an aged school friend, the other is really a stunning girl with an equally odd family. At times the drama appears as if it will turn depressing dwelling around the repressed emotions the characters are a part of. Nevertheless Gigantic manages to string you along until all is well and you are pondering whether or not this kind of a story is feasible in real existence.

Dano plays Brian Weathersby, a young, single salesman at a high-end Swedish mattress store. The afterthought child of elderly parents and the least successful of three brothers, hes trying to find his place in the world.
Unhappy at work, Brian is searching for fulfilment in his life and sees adopting a baby from China as the answer. Most of his days are spent in pursuit of this dream. But Brians life is set to change when the lovely but misguided Harriet Lolly (Deschanel) comes into his shop and falls asleep on a bed. He becomes swept up in the romance, but theres one thing that stands in their way: her rich, brash, loudmouth father Al Lolly (Goodman).
This is a charming, bizarre love story about the anxieties of falling in love with someone youd never thought youd fall in love with and the baggage that comes from a crazy family.

This rare footage has gone on record as the largest glacier calving event ever captured on film, by the 2016 Guiness Book of World Records.
On May 28, 2008, Adam LeWinter and Director Jeff Orlowski filmed a historic breakup at the Ilulissat Glacier in Western Greenland. The calving event lasted for 75 minutes and the glacier retreated a full mile across a calving face three miles wide. The height of the ice is about 3,000 feet, 300-400 feet above water and the rest below water.

Chasing Ice won the award for Excellence in Cinematography at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival and a 2013 Emmy Award for Outstanding Nature Programming. Gigantic is a 2008 independent comedy film directed by Matt Aselton and starring Paul Dano, Zooey Deschanel, John Goodman, Edward Asner and Jane Alexander. The script, written by Aselton and his college friend Adam Nagata, tells of Brian (Dano), a mattress salesman who wishes to adopt a baby from China, but finds himself sharing his passion, with the quirky, wealthy Harriet (Deschanel) when they meet in his store. The story was based on Aselton's childhood wish for his parents to adopt a Chinese baby. The film was shot in New York and Connecticut. It had its world premiere at 2008's Toronto International Film Festival and was released in the United States on April 3, 2009.
Young mattress salesman Brian decides to adopt a baby from China. Brian's life becomes more complicated and contemplative when he forms a relationship with quirky, wealthy Harriet, whom he meets at his mattress store.
Aselton said that, as the youngest child in his family, he wanted his parents to adopt a Chinese baby so that he could have a younger sibling; his younger brother did in fact adopt a baby later. He and co-writer Adam Nagata were fascinated by the idea and built the story around Brian's wanting to adopt a baby. Aselton and Nagata, college friends who both come from literary backgrounds, aimed to write the film as novelistic and surrealist rather than expository. They wanted to show "those little things that are often found in literature but rarely in film", such as Brian and his father's age difference and how it affects their relationship, and Harriet's walking around in her underpants and how it affects her and Brian's relationship. Aselton chose the title Gigantic because "There's an innocence about the [word]" due to its use by young children to describe something fantastic. He felt that the title was "a juxtaposition against Brian's life changing decision to adopt a baby".

This rare footage has gone on record as the largest glacier calving event ever captured on film, by the 2016 Guiness Book of World Records. On May 28, 2008, Adam LeWinter and Director Jeff Orlowski filmed a historic breakup at the Ilulissat Glacier in Western Greenland. The calving event lasted for 75 minutes and the glacier retreated a full mile across a calving face three miles wide. The height of the ice is about 3,000 feet, 300-400 feet above water and the rest below water. This rare footage has gone on record as the largest glacier calving event ever captured on film, by the 2016 Guiness Book of World Records.
On May 28, 2008, Adam LeWinter and Director Jeff Orlowski filmed a historic breakup at the Ilulissat Glacier in Western Greenland. The calving event lasted for 75 minutes and the glacier retreated a full mile across a calving face three miles wide. The height of the ice is about 3,000 feet, 300-400 feet above water and the rest below water.

Chasing Ice won the award for Excellence in Cinematography at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival and a 2013 Emmy Award for Outstanding Nature Programming. Pakistan will acquire F-16s from elsewhere if the United States (US) does not arrange funding for the sale, Sartaj Aziz, the prime minister's adviser on foreign affairs, cautioned the US as both countries lock horns over the purchase of the fighter jets.
