It was reported that often Abu Haneefah used to repeat the following statement about the Shi`ites, "Whoever doubts whether they are disbelievers has himself committed disbelief."
Imaam al-Shaafi`e
On one occasion al-Shaafi`i said concerning the Shi`ites, "I have not seen among the heretics a people more famous for falsehood than the Raafidite Shi`ites." [Ibn Taymeeyah, Minhaaj as-Sunnah an-Nabawiyyah, 1/39] On another occasion he said, "Narrate knowledge from everyone you meet except the Raafidite Shi`ites, because they invent Hadeeths and adopt them as part of their religion." [Ibid, p. 38]
Imaam Maalik
Once Maalik was asked about them and he replied, "Do not speak to them nor narrate from them, for surely they are liars." [Minhaaj as-Sunnah, 1/37] During a class of Imaam Maalik, it was mentioned that the Raafidite Shi`ites curse the Sahaabah. In reply, he quoted the Quranic verse, "Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah and those with him are harsh with the disbelievers and gentle among themselves. So that the disbelievers may become enraged with them." He then said, "Whoever becomes enraged when the Sahaabah are mentioned is one about whom the verse speaks." [Tafseeer al-Qurtubee, Soorah al-Fath; Editors note: That is, anyone who is enraged by the mention of the Sahaabah is a dsibeliever, because the verse says, "the disbelievers may become enraged with them (Sahaabah)."]

THE RECITOR IS SADAQAT ALI
Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) said:
'Everything has a bride, and the bride of the Qur'an is Surrah Al Rahman'
The Holy Prophet has also said:
"Whoever reads it, Allah will have mercy on his weakness and be regarded as having thanked Allah for it"
Imam Jaffer al-Sadiq (a.s.) has said:
"Allah will brighten the face of everyone who recites it often on the day of Judgement"
Sura Rahman is often regarded as "THE BEAUTY OF THE QURAN"
This is the only Surah of the Quran in which besides men the jinn also, who are the other creation of the earth endowed with freedom of will and action, have been directly addressed, and both men and jinn have been made to realize the wonders of Allah's power, His countless blessings, their own helplessness and accountability before Him, and have been warned of the evil consequences of His disobedience and made aware of the best results of His obedience. Although at several other places in the Quran there are clear pointers to show that like the men the jinn too are a creation who have been endowed with freedom of will and action and are accountable, who have been granted the freedom of belief and unbelief, of obedience and disobedience, and among them too there are the believers and the unbelievers, the obedient and the rebellious, as among human beings, and among them too there exist such groups as have believed in the Prophets sent by God and in the Divine Books, this Surah clearly points out that the message of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and the Quran is meant both for men and for jinn and that his Prophethood is not restricted to human beings alone.
Although in the beginning of the Surah the address is directed only to human beings, for to them only belongs the vicegerency of the earth, among them only have the Messengers of Allah been raised, and in their tongues only have the Divine Books been revealed, yet from verse 13 onward both the men and the jinn have been addressed and one and the same invitation has been extended to both.

Alī ibn Abī Ṭālib (Arabic: علي بن أﺑﻲ طالب, Transliteration: ʿAlī ibn Abī Ṭālib, [ʕaliː ibn ʔæbiː t̪ˤɑːlib]; 13thRajab, 24 BH–21stRamaḍān, 40 AH; approximately October 23, 598 or 600 or March 17, 599 – January 27, 661). The son of Abu Talib, Ali was also the cousin and son-in-law of Islamic prophet Muhammad, ruling over the Islamic Caliphate from 656 to 661, and was the first male convert to Islam.Sunnis consider Ali the fourth and final of the Rashidun (rightly guided Caliphs), while Shias regard Ali as the first Imam and consider him and his descendants the rightful successors to Muhammad, all of which are members of the Ahl al-Bayt, the household of Muhammad. This disagreement split the Ummah (Muslim community) into the Sunni and Shia branches.
Muslim sources, especially Shia ones, state that since Muhammad's time, Ali was the only person born in the Kaaba sanctuary in Mecca, the holiest place in Islam. His father was Abu Talib and his mother was Fatima bint Asad, but he was raised in the household of Muhammad, who himself was raised by Abu Talib, Muhammad's uncle, and Ali's father. When Muhammad reported receiving a divine revelation, Ali was the first male to accept his message, dedicating his life to the cause of Islam.

Zakir Abdul Karim Naik (Urdu: ذاکر عبدالکریم نائیک; born 18 October 1965) is an Indian public speaker on the subject of Islam and comparative religion. He is the founder and president of the Islamic Research Foundation (IRF), a non-profit organisation that owns the Peace TV channel based in Dubai, UAE. He is sometimes referred to as a televangelist. Before becoming a public speaker, he trained as a doctor. He has written two booklets on Islam and comparative religion. He is regarded as an exponent of the Salafi ideology; he places a strong emphasis on individual scholarship and the rejection of "blind Taqlid", which has led him to repudiate the relevance of sectarian or Madh'hab designations, all the while reaffirming their importance.
Zakir Abdul Karim Naik was born on 18 October 1965 in Mumbai, India. He attended St. Peter's High School in Mumbai. Later he enrolled at Kishinchand Chellaram College, before studying medicine at Topiwala National Medical College and Nair Hospital and later the University of Mumbai, where he obtained a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS). His wife, Farhat Naik, works for the women's section of the IRF.

WATCH IN 720P HD NOW! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hod05lHgsMg Download the video from here: http://www.al-masumeen.com/quran/syed-sadaqat-ali/surah-rahman THE RECITOR IS SADAQAT ALI Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) said: 'Everything has a bride, and the bride of the Qur'an is Surrah Al Rahman' The Holy Prophet has also said: "Whoever reads it, Allah will have mercy on his weakness and be regarded as having thanked Allah for it" Imam Jaffer al-Sadiq (a.s.) has said: "Allah will brighten the face of everyone who recites it often on the day of Judgement" Sura Rahman is often regarded as "THE BEAUTY OF THE QURAN" This is the only Surah of the Quran in which besides men the jinn also, who are the other creation of the earth endowed with freedom of will and action, have been directly addressed, and both men and jinn have been made to realize the wonders of Allah's power, His countless blessings, their own helplessness and accountability before Him, and have been warned of the evil consequences of His disobedience and made aware of the best results of His obedience. Although at several other places in the Quran there are clear pointers to show that like the men the jinn too are a creation who have been endowed with freedom of will and action and are accountable, who have been granted the freedom of belief and unbelief, of obedience and disobedience, and among them too there are the believers and the unbelievers, the obedient and the rebellious, as among human beings, and among them too there exist such groups as have believed in the Prophets sent by God and in the Divine Books, this Surah clearly points out that the message of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and the Quran is meant both for men and for jinn and that his Prophethood is not restricted to human beings alone. Although in the beginning of the Surah the address is directed only to human beings, for to them only belongs the vicegerency of the earth, among them only have the Messengers of Allah been raised, and in their tongues only have the Divine Books been revealed, yet from verse 13 onward both the men and the jinn have been addressed and one and the same invitation has been extended to both. -

Sheikh Othman AlKhamees discusses the 4th to 6th Caliphs in Islam Sunni Islam -imam Al Hassan ibn ali and Muawiyah -( sunnah islam )----Imam Bukhari declared: I dont see any difference between praying Salah behind a Jahmi or a (Shia) Rafidhi and a Christian or a Jew. They (Jahmis/Rafidhis) are not to be greeted, nor are they to be visited, nor are they to be married, nor is their testimony to be accepted, nor are their sacrifices to be eaten. (Khalq Afaalul-Ibaad, p.14) ---------------------------------------------- Imaam Abu Hanifah
It was reported that often Abu Haneefah used to repeat the following statement about the Shi`ites, "Whoever doubts whether they are disbelievers has himself committed disbelief."
Imaam al-Shaafi`e
On one occasion al-Shaafi`i said concerning the Shi`ites, "I have not seen among the heretics a people more famous for falsehood than the Raafidite Shi`ites." [Ibn Taymeeyah, Minhaaj as-Sunnah an-Nabawiyyah, 1/39] On another occasion he said, "Narrate knowledge from everyone you meet except the Raafidite Shi`ites, because they invent Hadeeths and adopt them as part of their religion." [Ibid, p. 38]
Imaam Maalik
Once Maalik was asked about them and he replied, "Do not speak to them nor narrate from them, for surely they are liars." [Minhaaj as-Sunnah, 1/37] During a class of Imaam Maalik, it was mentioned that the Raafidite Shi`ites curse the Sahaabah. In reply, he quoted the Quranic verse, "Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah and those with him are harsh with the disbelievers and gentle among themselves. So that the disbelievers may become enraged with them." He then said, "Whoever becomes enraged when the Sahaabah are mentioned is one about whom the verse speaks." [Tafseeer al-Qurtubee, Soorah al-Fath; Editors note: That is, anyone who is enraged by the mention of the Sahaabah is a dsibeliever, because the verse says, "the disbelievers may become enraged with them (Sahaabah)."]

THE RECITOR IS SADAQAT ALI
Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) said:
'Everything has a bride, and the bride of the Qur'an is Surrah Al Rahman'
The Holy Prophet has also said:
"Whoever reads it, Allah will have mercy on his weakness and be regarded as having thanked Allah for it"
Imam Jaffer al-Sadiq (a.s.) has said:
"Allah will brighten the face of everyone who recites it often on the day of Judgement"
Sura Rahman is often regarded as "THE BEAUTY OF THE QURAN"
This is the only Surah of the Quran in which besides men the jinn also, who are the other creation of the earth endowed with freedom of will and action, have been directly addressed, and both men and jinn have been made to realize the wonders of Allah's power, His countless blessings, their own helplessness and accountability before Him, and have been warned of the evil consequences of His disobedience and made aware of the best results of His obedience. Although at several other places in the Quran there are clear pointers to show that like the men the jinn too are a creation who have been endowed with freedom of will and action and are accountable, who have been granted the freedom of belief and unbelief, of obedience and disobedience, and among them too there are the believers and the unbelievers, the obedient and the rebellious, as among human beings, and among them too there exist such groups as have believed in the Prophets sent by God and in the Divine Books, this Surah clearly points out that the message of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and the Quran is meant both for men and for jinn and that his Prophethood is not restricted to human beings alone.
Although in the beginning of the Surah the address is directed only to human beings, for to them only belongs the vicegerency of the earth, among them only have the Messengers of Allah been raised, and in their tongues only have the Divine Books been revealed, yet from verse 13 onward both the men and the jinn have been addressed and one and the same invitation has been extended to both.

Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) said:
'Everything has a bride, and the bride of the Qur'an is Surrah Al Rahman'
The Holy Prophet has also said:
"Whoever reads it, Allah will have mercy on his weakness and be regarded as having thanked Allah for it"
Imam Jaffer al-Sadiq (a.s.) has said:
"Allah will brighten the face of everyone who recites it often on the day of Judgement"
Sura Rahman is often regarded as "THE BEAUTY OF THE QURAN"
This is the only Surah of the Quran in which besides men the jinn also, who are the other creation of the earth endowed with freedom of will and action, have been directly addressed, and both men and jinn have been made to realize the wonders of Allah's power, His countless blessings, their own helplessness and accountability before Him, and have been warned of the evil consequences of His disobedience and made aware of the best results of His obedience. -Abu Bakr's [r] first decision as the Khalifa was to deal with the army of Usama ibn Zayd, and settle the tension among the sahaba who questioned his age and maturity.
-Abu Bakr gave Usama some powerful advice: "Do not be treacherous, do not steal booty, do not break promises, do not mutilate, do not cut off trees, do not kill animals unless you will eat them, when you come across those worshiping in their homes, leave them alone in their worship. Say Bismillah when people give you food and fight the army when you see it."
Incident of Ali not giving his bayaa (allegiance) immediately:
-Shia's and Sunnis differ on certain details.
-It is human nature that there may have been minor differences of opinion and friction even between sahaba. This does not impact theology.
-Dwelling on the past, it is unnecessary and unhealthy. Allah will judge on what happened not us.
-Ali (ra) overall approved and accepted the khilafa of Abu Bakr, Omar and Uthman [r]. Yet Ali (ra) was still a major player in the government system. Even shi'a agree on this point.
-Abbas (ra) said to Ali (ra) "let's go ask the Prophet (s) who shall be the leader next? If it is amongst us (Banu Hashim), we shall know. If it is to other than us, we shall know..." Ali (ra) said, "If I were to ask the Prophet (s) now and he does not give it to us, then the people will later not give it to us either. Therefore I will not ask.."
-It is said that Ali (r) didn't give oath of allegiance for 6 months.
-Mainstream opinion is that AB noticed it, and asked Ali to give eventually.
-Minor opinion is (Ibn Kathir) says that Ali (r) initially gave oath, but then AB had asked him to give it a second time for the sake of the people.
-Hadith mentions Abu Bakr [r] was sitting in mimbar and didn't see Ali [r], so he asked for Ali [r] to come forward. He asked "do you wish to disunite the ummah?" Ali [r] said no, and had given oath.
-Sahi Muslim mentions Aisha [r] saying that Ali [r] hadn't given oath until after Fatima [r] died.
-Yet another hadith in Sahi Muslim says: Ali [r] told Abu Bakr [r] that "we do not deny any of your blessings, but perhaps you have taken this matter from us. Abu Bakr [r] began to cry and then swore by Allah and remarked: "It is more beloved to me that I treat the family of the Prophet [s] more nicely than my own family. Ali (r) then agreed to give the bayyah the next day and they both publicly resolved the matter.

-Dwelling on the past, it is unnecessary and unhealthy. Allah will judge on what happened not us.
-Ali (ra) overall approved and accepted the khilafa of Abu Bakr, Omar and Uthman [r]. Yet Ali (ra) was still a major player in the government system. Even shi'a agree on this point.
-Abbas (ra) said to Ali (ra) "let's go ask the Prophet (s) who shall be the leader next? If it is amongst us (Banu Hashim), we shall know. If it is to other than us, we shall know..." Ali (ra) said, "If I were to ask the Prophet (s) now and he does not give it to us, then the people will later not give it to us either. Therefore I will not ask.."
-It is said that Ali (r) didn't give oath of allegiance for 6 months.
-Mainstream opinion is that AB noticed it, and asked Ali to give eventually.
-Minor opinion is (Ibn Kathir) says that Ali (r) initially gave oath, but then AB had asked him to give it a second time for the sake of the people.
-Hadith mentions Abu Bakr [r] was sitting in mimbar and didn't see Ali [r], so he asked for Ali [r] to come forward. He asked "do you wish to disunite the ummah?" Ali [r] said no, and had given oath.
-Sahi Muslim mentions Aisha [r] saying that Ali [r] hadn't given oath until after Fatima [r] died.
-Yet another hadith in Sahi Muslim says: Ali [r] told Abu Bakr [r] that "we do not deny any of your blessings, but perhaps you have taken this matter from us. Abu Bakr [r] began to cry and then swore by Allah and remarked: "It is more beloved to me that I treat the family of the Prophet [s] more nicely than my own family. Ali (r) then agreed to give the bayyah the next day and they both publicly resolved the matter.

Muhammad Ali (born Cassius Marcellus Clay, Jr.; January 17, 1942) is an American former professional boxer, generally considered among the greatest heavyweights in the sport's history. A controversial and polarizing figure during his early career, Ali is today widely regarded for the skills he displayed in the ring plus the values he exemplified outside of it: religious freedom, racial justice and the triumph of principle over expedience. He is one of the most recognized sports figures of the past 100 years, crowned "Sportsman of the Century" by Sports Illustrated and "Sports Personality of the Century" by the BBC.
Born Cassius Clay, at the age of 22 he won the world heavyweight championship in 1964 from Sonny Liston in a stunning upset. Shortly after that bout, Ali joined the Nation of Islam and changed his name. He converted to Sunni Islam in 1975.
In 1967, three years after winning the heavyweight title, Ali refused to be conscripted into the U.S. military, citing his religious beliefs and opposition to American involvement in the Vietnam War. The U.S. government declined to recognize him as a conscientious objector, however, because Ali declared that he would fight in a war if directed to do so by Allah or his messenger (Elijah Muhammad). He was eventually arrested and found guilty on draft evasion charges and stripped of his boxing title. He did not fight again for nearly four years—losing a time of peak performance in an athlete's career. Ali's appeal worked its way up to the U.S. Supreme Court, where in 1971 his conviction was overturned on a technicality. The Supreme Court held that, since the appeals board gave no reason for the denial of a conscientious objector exemption to petitioner, it was impossible to determine on which of the three grounds offered in the Justice Department's letter that board had relied. Ali's actions as a conscientious objector to the war made him an icon for the larger counterculture generation.
Ali remains the only three-time lineal World Heavyweight Champion; he won the title in 1964, 1974, and 1978.
Nicknamed "The Greatest", Ali was involved in several historic boxing matches. Notable among these were the first Liston fight, three with rival Joe Frazier, and one with George Foreman, where he regained titles he had been stripped of seven years earlier.
Ali revolutionized the sport of boxing by sheer power and magnetism of his personality At a time when most fighters let their managers do the talking, Ali thrived in — and indeed craved — the spotlight, where he was sometimes provocative, frequently outlandish and almost always entertaining. He controlled most press conferences and interviews, and spoke freely about issues unrelated to boxing. He transformed the role and image of the African American athlete in America by his embrace of racial pride and his willingness to antagonize the white establishment in doing so. In the words of writer Joyce Carol Oates, he was one of the few athletes in any sport to completely "define the terms of his public reputation."
As a world champion boxer and social activist, Ali has been the subject of numerous books, films and other creative works. In 1963, he released an album of spoken word on Columbia Records titled I am the Greatest! He has appeared on the cover of Sports Illustrated on 37 different occasions, second only to Michael Jordan.
He appeared in the documentary film Black Rodeo (1972) riding both a horse and a bull. His autobiography The Greatest: My Own Story, written with Richard Durham, was published in 1975. In 1977 the book was adapted into a film called The Greatest, in which Ali played himself and Ernest Borgnine played Angelo Dundee.
When We Were Kings, a 1996 documentary about the Rumble in the Jungle, won an Academy Award, and the 2001 biopic Ali garnered an Oscar nomination for Will Smith's portrayal of the lead role. The latter film was directed by Michael Mann, with mixed reviews, the positives given to Smith's portrayal of Ali. Prior to making the film, Smith rejected the role until Ali requested that he accept it. Smith said the first thing Ali told him was: "Man you're almost pretty enough to play me."
Ali had a cameo role in the 1962 film version of Requiem for a Heavyweight, and during his exile, he starred in the short-lived Broadway musical, Buck White (1969).
The film Freedom Road, made in 1978, features Muhammad Ali in a rare acting role as Gideon Jackson, an ex-slave in 1870's Virginia who gets elected to the U.S. Senate in Washington D.C. and battles other former slaves and white sharecroppers to keep the land they have tended all their lives.
On the set of Freedom Road Ali met Canadian singer-songwriter Michel, and subsequently helped create Michel's album entitled The First Flight of the Gizzelda Dragon.
In 1979, Ali guest-starred as himself in an episode of the NBC sitcom Diffrent Strokes.

As part of its seminar series, the Centre for Academic Shi'a Studies hosted Dr Ali Allawi, who delivered a talk on sectarianism in the Middle East and the Islamic world titled, "Sunnis and Shi'as: Temporary Violence or Perpetual Conflict".
In his talk, Dr Allawi provided a historical survey of the relationship between Sunnis and Shi'a, the present conditions (in Iraq, the Gulf, Levant and elsewhere), and some prescriptive/predictive comments.
Ali Allawi is Research Professor at the National University of Singapore. His third book, A Comprehensive Biography of Faisal I of Iraq, set against the fall of the Ottoman Empire and the establishment of the modern state system in the Middle East, was recently published by Yale University Press. He is now working on a book entitled, In Search of the Greatest Master, a book of journeys in the footsteps of Ibn `Arabi, which will relate his vision of an illumined world of Islam with the realities of today's Muslim world and communities.
In September, 2003, Ali Allawi was appointed to be the Minister of Trade of Iraq under the Iraq Governing Council, and was appointed in April 2004 to be Iraq's first post-war civilian Minister of Defence. In January 2005, he was elected to Iraq's Transitional National Assembly as a member of the United Iraqi Alliance, and in April 2005, he was appointed to be the Minister of Finance in the Transitional Government headed by Dr Ibrahim al-Jaffari.
Dr Ali Allawi attended MIT from which he graduated in 1968 with a BSc in Civil Engineering. He continued his postgraduate studies at the London School of Economics in Regional Planning, and went on to obtain an MBA from Harvard University in 1971.

Up to 90% of all Muslims follow the Sunni tradition, making it the largest branch of Islam. The name Sunni comes from the Arabic sunnah, meaning the custom or example of the prophet Muhammad. By the 10th century, Muslim theology was codified into the Sunni tradition.
But even before that time, there were splinter groups, and the largest of these was the Shia tradition. "Shia" comes from the Arabic phrase shi'at 'Ali, which means the partisans of Ali. Ali was the son-in-law and cousin of Muhammad, and Shias believe that he was the prophet's rightful successor. Ali ruled as the fourth caliph (leader) after Muhammad, but he was assassinated in 661.
The matter of leadership evolved into the Shia institution of the Imamate, a spiritual leader followers considered chosen by God. Ali was the first of the 12 most important Imams, and Shias regularly visit the shrines of the Imams. Sunnis have Imams too, but these men are more like prayer leaders and scholars, and they don't hold the same religious or political authority as Shia imams.
Shia also interpret some verses of the Quran (the holy book of Islam) differently than do Sunnis. Suffering and martyrdom are idealized more in Shia tradition than Sunni, and the sects hold varying views on divine justice and free will. Shia'ism has its own call to prayer, prayer forms, and ritual practices as well.
