Madras University Decks Up For Jayalalithaa's Sworn In Ceremony
After the thumbing victory in the recent
Tamil Nadu Assembly election,
Jayalalithaa will be sworn in today as the
Chief Minister. Jayalalithaa will sworn in as the Chief Minister along with 28 others including her trusted lieutenant and former
Finance Minister in the out going cabinet, O
Paneerselvam at a
function at the
Madras University Centenary auditorium.The event will also be attended by
Union Minister,
Venkaiah Naidu, who will represent the
Central government.It was also reported that
DMK Chief,
Karunanidhi and his son,
MK Stalin have been invited for the ceremony by Jayalalithaa and
Stalin is also likely to attend the event.
