(
FYI... the weird messed up particles on Badwater Basin is not its fault, One of the other addons was causing this when I recorded the demo file, and I didn't think the glitch would still be in the demo, but sadly it was, and I did too good that round to just let the recording go to waste...
Sorry about that...sound for the silenced Uzi is also glitched...again sorry about that)
(Also tell me if you notice any declines in quality. This video was formatted differently. It saved me six hours worth of rendering, but I am afraid it might have come with a cost... tell me if you notice any signs that might prove it true...)
I figured since these were practically the same thing why not make this episode a double feature? The pros and cons this time around will be more a side by side comparison
First will be Payload Hoodoo...
In this version, you have to "push" the car manually (even though for the most part it was pushing me...)
Pros
-More forgiving
-Longer
Cons
-Serious lack of supplies
Final Verdict
86/
100
While pushing the cart can be much more forgiving and relaxing than fueling it, it does has its own drawback of have to move at snail's pace with the cart... which can be a team killer.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Badwater Basin
In this version, you are pouring gasoline on a bomb to make it move forward...
A.K.A. a long SCAVENGE FINAL...
Pros
-Shorter (good thing for a scavenge only map)
-More challenging
Cons
-Scavenge event (debatable)
Final Verdict
88/100
Much more demanding and in your face than the other one, but still fun never the less. While collecting the gas cans can be very tedious, and an absolute
nightmare on expert, being able to rush through and make the cart speed forward without you needing to be there is definitely a perk.
There you have it! While both have their own advantages and disadvantages... once you strip them away it comes down to one question...
What is your opinion of scavenge?
If you like it, then play Badwater Basin. If you hate it, then play Payload Hoodoo. If you're like me and really don't have a preference, then play and enjoy them both...
