Rory (Irish: Ruairí; Scottish Gaelic: Ruairidh ) is a Goidelic personal name in anglicised form, common to the Irish, Highland Scots and their diasporas. The meaning of the name is "red king," from ruadh (ie - red-coloured hair or complexion, foxes, etc.) and rígh (ie - king).
An early use of the name in antiquity is in reference to Rudraige mac Sithrigi, a High King of Ireland who eventually spawned the Ulaid (indeed this tribe are sometimes known as Clanna Rudhraighe). Throughout the Middle Ages the name was in use by various kings such as Ruaidrí mac Fáeláin, Ruaidrí na Saide Buide and Ruaidrí Ua Conchobair, the last High King of Ireland. As well as this the famous King of Laois, Ruairí Óg Ó Mórdha and his nephew Ruairí Ó Mórdha who was a leader in the Irish Rebellion of 1641, held the name.
In Scotland, the surname MacRory from Clan Macruari, derives from Ruaidhri mac Raghnaill, a grandson of Somerled. This is one of the Norse-Gaelic clans who took over areas of the Hebrides within the Kingdom of the Isles.
Rory Williams is a fictional character portrayed by Arthur Darvill in the long-running British science fiction television series Doctor Who. Having been introduced at the start of the 5th series, Rory joins the Eleventh Doctor (Matt Smith) as a companion in the middle of Series 5. As Amy Pond's fiancé, Rory is initially insecure because he believes Amy secretly loves the Doctor more. Later, however, he proves to be a hero in his own right and he and Amy marry. The couple conceive a daughter aboard the Doctor's time machine, the TARDIS, while in the time vortex, but their baby is kidnapped at birth. In "A Good Man Goes to War", Rory and Amy discover their time-traveler friend River Song is actually their daughter Melody Pond. The Doctor and River marry in "The Wedding of River Song", and Rory becomes the Doctor's father-in-law. In "The Angels Take Manhattan", the fifth episode of the seventh series, he and Amy are transported back in time by a Weeping Angel, leading to the couple's departure from the series.

"Whatever" is a song released in 2005 by American R&B/soul singer-songwriter Jill Scott, from her album Beautifully Human: Words and Sounds Vol. 2. Scott scored her biggest dance charting song on Billboard's Dance Chart.
"Whatever" is the second single from musical group En Vogue's third studio album, EV3. It has been certified gold by the RIAA for shipments of over 500,000 units. It reached #16 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart.
"Whatever" was produced by Babyface (he participated on other tracks as well) as this album marked the first time En Vogue departed from their usual Foster & McElroy sound. The video version was also the first to feature only three of the original En Vogue members (without the recently departed Dawn Robinson).
Efforts to re-record the album without Robinson were all but successful as she is heard in background and lead throughout EV3. Her original lead verse on "Whatever" is fourth ("anything you do, I crave it baby...") and can be clearly heard on the remixes to this track. Cindy Herron replaced Dawn's outgoing lead in the video and studio album version.
While EV3 was being recorded, Dawn Robinson chose to leave the group. Her voice is heard throughout the harmony and lead vocals on 95% of the album including this song.
Whatever is the third studio album by guitarist Jennifer Batten, released on September 10, 2007 through Wood Bell Records (Japan) and on April 18, 2008 through Lion Music (Europe). Included with the album is a DVD containing a selection of instructional footage and music videos by Batten, as well as music videos by guest videographers/editors.
All songs written and composed by Jennifer Batten, except where noted.

Proper isn't what you call this
Infatuation, let it ring
Oh, the walls are singing as she bites her lip and smiles up at me
Body turns so she twists the bed sheets
a writing code, she wants me to know
that she's ready
and I'm ready to go
sitting on the hot seat
crown me sexy
rely on the senses
that don't have a face
I belong to you
I belong to you
You're sitting on the hot seat
I'll crown you sexy
Kiss me your majesty
at your will or whatever
I belong to you
I belong to you
Decent isn't what you call this
Bodies craving
Bodies hot and shimmering
Oh, I love your singing
I feel as if I should be the one to
Entwined here in shape and rhythm
I read the stories your body tells
Like the things you need
and the things you'll give me
Baby you're beautiful
But you're dangerous when you know it
And you know it
Because it's written on my mouth
And you taste it
sitting on the hot seat
crown me sexy
rely on the senses
that don't have a face
I belong to you
I belong to you
You're sitting on the hot seat
I'll crown you sexy
Kiss me, your majesty
at your will or whatever
I belong to you
I belong to you
Baby you're beautiful
But you're dangerous when you know it
And you know it
Because it's written on my mouth
And you taste it
Baby you're beautiful
But you're dangerous when you know it
And you know it
Because it's written on my mouth

sitting on the hot seat
crown me sexy

I belong to you
You're sitting on the hot seat
I'll crown you sexy
