Chris Eubank gives his address to the Oxford Union Society. He says his belligerence is intelligent as he fights to win and if he can't win he doesn't fight. He quotes Rudyard Kipling's 'If': "If you can keep your head whilst all about you are losing theirs, and blaming it on you, If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you, But make allowance for their doubting too;..." He says all you need is this to live your life by because everyone will love you, respect you and be your friend. He goes on to talk about truth, saying there's kindness, humility and dignity in truth. He gives examples of courage saying that if someone has a bogie on their nose and they don't know about it then it takes courage and greatness to tell them. He talks about his lose against Michael Watson where he was concussed in the 11th Round, he said he got up even though the fight was lost because it was the right thing to do. Chris expresses how his Jamaican upbringing kept him on the right track, following this he quotes Nelson Mandela saying, "Be true to yourself". When he was younger he was suspended 18 times from one school before being expelled for protecting kids from being bullied. Even though he knew he would get the belt when he got home he still protected them because he knew he was doing the right thing. He finishes by mentioning the Iraq war and the protest he made outside Downing Street where he was arrested.
