2016 BAND AUCTION – March 31st to April 3rd – 4 DAYS!
KKFI is proud to announce the 2016 Band Auction scheduled for March 31st to April 3rd 2016. The band auction is an on-air music festival, featuring almost 100 of your favorite area bands and musicians for over four days.
HOW IT WORKS
Nearly 100 talented local entertainers sign up to donate a two-hour concert to be auctioned to the highest bidder during KKFI 90.1 FM’s annual Band Auction. We schedule each act for 30 minutes during an appropriate music show during the Band Auction, which is held over a four-day period in April. During that 30 minutes, listeners call in and bid. The high bidder works with the band or solo act to arrange for a two-hour gig sometime during the next 12 months. This could be a birthday party, anniversary, block party, class reunion, or just for the heck of it party.

MINIMUM BIDS & MAJOR CREDIT/DEBIT CARDS
Minimum bids may vary depending on the act, but generally the bidding starts at $100 for solo acts and $200 for bands.

The number to call to bid during the shows is (888) 931-0901. Bids are taken during the scheduled 30 minutes that each act is showcased on KKFI.
ALL BIDS MUST BE BY MAJOR CREDIT/DEBIT CARDS
All major credit/debit cards — MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express — are accepted for payment on a bid.
ADVANCE BIDDING
We do accept advance bidding. If you wish to bid on a band but it occurs at a time that you are unable to listen or call, you can make an advance bid. Simply email Bill at KKFI ( [email protected]) and let us know your maximum bid. KKFI will serve as your agent, getting the band of your choice at as low a price as the bidding allows, and but no more than your stated maximum bid. For Advance Bidding: [email protected].
