A very dubious interpretation of the Duc of Anjou and Elizabeths' meeting.
Elizabeth (1998)
Second part to the Elizabeth 1998 film again very dubious with transvestite elements of the Duvc of Anjou which was in fact the younger brother. Elizabeth was nearly twenty years older than the flamboyant, bisexual transvestite Duke of Anjou, and they never met in person. He went on to become King Henry III of France, and his younger brother became Duke of Anjou. It was this Duke that Elizabeth met, and they actually got along very well and even talked about getting married.

C´est Louis de Bourbon, duc d´Anjou et prétendant légitimiste aux trônes de France et de Navarre qui est reçu cette semaine par Emmanuelle Dancourt. Franco-espagnol et né en 1974 d´Alphonse de Bourbon et de Carmen Martínez-Bordiú y Franco, il doit faire face à plusieurs épreuves dès son enfance, notamment les décès tragiques de son frère aîné François de Bourbon dans un accident de voiture en 1984, puis de son père lors d´un accident de ski en 1989. Aujourd´hui marié à la Vénézuélienne María Margarita Vargas Santaella, il vit à Madrid et travaille en tant que vice-président international de la Banco Occidental de Descuento (BOD). Par ailleurs très sportif, il pratique notamment le hockey sur glace, l´équitation et la course à pieds. Malgré son statut, c´est un homme d´une grande humilité que cette émission permet de découvrir. Portrait d´un prince très attachant.

Le Prince Louis-Alphonse de Bourbon, Duc d’Anjou, et en sa qualité d’aîné de la maison de Bourbon, a été invité à la messe commémorant le 301ème anniversaire de la Fondation de l'Hôtel des Invalides par son aïeul le Roy Soleil Louis XIV.
Cette commémoration annuelle est considérée comme une institution déjà fort ancienne par l'autorité militaire. Elle a été fondée par l'IMB, l'Institut de la Maison de Bourbon, en 1987, avec le Général Gobillard, Gouverneur des Invalides.
Chaque année, les Gouverneurs invitent les chefs des familles qui ont régné sur la France. Les Bourbons, issus de Louis XIV, la maison d'Orléans, et la famille Impériale.
Louis XIV, Roy de France et de Navarre, destina la Fondation des Invalides au soin des blessés militaires.
Elle en assume aujourd’hui toujours cette mission.

Anjou
Anjou (French pronunciation: [ɑ̃ʒu]; Latin: Andegavia) is a former French county (in that it was ruled by a count, from c. 880), duchy (1360), and province. Its capital was the city of Angers in the lower Loire Valley. The territory has no very clear geographical borders but instead owes its territory and prominence to the fortunes of its various rulers.
Henry "Curtmantle", count of Anjou, inherited the kingdom of England on October 25, 1154, becoming Henry II. The resulting Angevin Empire would, at its peak, spread from Ulster to the Pyrenees. Henry's son Richard I had no legitimate issue upon his death, so in 1199 Anjou passed to his nephew, Arthur of Brittany (the posthumous son of Henry II’s fourth son Geoffrey), while the Crown of England passed to Henry II’s fifth son and Richard’s youngest brother, John. Count Arthur was taken prisoner by his uncle the king in 1203 and disappeared under suspicious circumstances. In 1205, the county was seized by Philip II Augustus of France. Its status was elevated to that of a duchy for Prince Louis, the second son of Jean II and remained as such until the Revolution. Anjou corresponds largely to the present-day department of Maine-et-Loire.

Counts and dukes of Anjou
The Count of Anjou was the ruler of the county of Anjou, first granted by Charles the Bald in the 9th century to Robert the Strong. Ingelger and his son were viscounts of Angers until Ingelger's son Fulk the Red assumed the title of Count of Anjou. The Robertians and their Capetian successors were distracted by wars with the Vikings and other concerns, and were unable to recover the county until the reign of Philip II Augustus more than 270 years later.
Ingelger's male line ended with Geoffrey II, Count of Anjou. Subsequent counts of Anjou were descended from Geoffrey's sister Ermengarde of Anjou and Geoffrey II, Count of Gâtinais. Their agnatic descendants, who included the Angevin kings of England, continued to hold these titles and property until the French monarchy gained control of the area. Thereafter the titles Count of Anjou and, after 1360, Duke of Anjou were granted several times, usually to members of the French ruling houses of Valois and Bourbon.
Similar to the title of Duke of York in England, none of those who received the title Duke of Anjou (except the first creation), were able to transmit it; they either died without a male heir, returned it to the crown, or succeeded to the throne.

Cette commémoration annuelle est considérée comme une institution déjà fort ancienne par l'autorité militaire. Elle a été fondée par l'IMB, l'Institut de la Maison de Bourbon, en 1987, avec le Général Gobillard, Gouverneur des Invalides. Chaque année, les Gouverneurs invitent les chefs des familles qui ont régné sur la France. Les Bourbons, issus de Louis XIV, la maison d'Orléans, et la famille Impériale. Second part to the Elizabeth 1998 film again very dubious with transvestite elements of the Duvc of Anjou which was in fact the younger brother. Elizabeth was nearly twenty years older than the flamboyant, bisexual transvestite Duke of Anjou, and they never met in person. He went on to become King Henry III of France, and his younger brother became Duke of Anjou. It was this Duke that Elizabeth met, and they actually got along very well and even talked about getting married.

FILM DESCRIPTION:
This British-made historical drama depicts the rise of young Elizabeth Tudor to Queen of England, a reign of intrigue and betrayals. In 1554, Queen Mary I (Kathy Burke) tries to restore Catholicism as England's single faith. With no heir to the crown, she maneuvers to keep her Protestant half-sister Elizabeth (Cate Blanchett) from succeeding her, but her efforts fail. With Mary dead, Elizabeth is proclaimed Queen of England in November 1558. Elizabeth relishes the return from exile of her childhood sweetheart, Lord Robert Dudley (Joseph Fiennes). Chief adviser Sir William Cecil (Richard Attenborough) urges the young Queen to forget personal matters and instead address the country's pressing problems. England is bankrupt, has no army, and is under serious threat from abroad. Elizabeth even has enemies within her own court, the most dangerous being the Duke of Norfolk (Christopher Eccleston). Hoping for an heir, Cecil suggests marriage candidates -- King Philip II of Spain or the French Duc d'Anjou (Vincent Cassel) -- to secure the realm. Elizabeth agrees to meet their ambassadors, but her true feelings are revealed when she meets Dudley for a secret tryst. French "warrior queen" Mary of Guise (Fanny Ardent) amasses troops at the Scottish border. Elizabeth bows to the pro-War lobby led by Norfolk, despite protests from her Master of Spies, the enigmatic Sir Francis Walsingham (Geoffrey Rush), but the decision to fight leads to a humiliating defeat. As dark clouds of court conspiracies gather, and the possibility of assassination looms, Elizabeth strikes out at her enemies and puts her trust in Walsingham. Shown at 1998 film fests (Venice, Toronto), this is the first English-language film of Indian director Shekhar Kapur, who shot on locations at Northumberland, Derbyshire, North Yorkshire, and at Shepperton Studios.

Le Prince Louis-Alphonse de Bourbon, Duc d’Anjou, et en sa qualité d’aîné de la maison de Bourbon, a été invité à la messe commémorant le 301ème anniversaire de la Fondation de l'Hôtel des Invalides par son aïeul le Roy Soleil Louis XIV.
Cette commémoration annuelle est considérée comme une institution déjà fort ancienne par l'autorité militaire. Elle a été fondée par l'IMB, l'Institut de la Maison de Bourbon, en 1987, avec le Général Gobillard, Gouverneur des Invalides.
Chaque année, les Gouverneurs invitent les chefs des familles qui ont régné sur la France. Les Bourbons, issus de Louis XIV, la maison d'Orléans, et la famille Impériale.
Louis XIV, Roy de France et de Navarre, destina la Fondation des Invalides au soin des blessés militaires.
Elle en assume aujourd’hui toujours cette mission.

Louis Alphonse of Bourbon, Duke of Anjou (Spanish: Luis Alfonso Jaime Marcelino Manuel Víctor María de Borbón-Segovia y Martínez-Bordiú, French: Louis Alphonse Gonzalve Victor Emmanuel Marc de Bourbon; born 25 April 1974, Madrid) is a member of the Royal House of Bourbon, and one of the current pretenders to the defunct French throne as Louis XX.He is recognized as the "Head of the House of Bourbon" and rightful claimant to the French crown by the Legitimist faction of French royalists, who also considered him as the senior male heir of Hugh Capet, being the senior descendant of King Louis XIV of France (ruled 1643–1715) through his grandson King Philip V of Spain.Louis Alphonse is a great-grandson of King Alfonso XIII of Spain and second cousin of King Philip VI of Spain. Through his mother, he is also a great-grandson of Spain's former dictator Francisco Franco.

Landscape Photography in France - Loire Valley châteaux around Anjou
*Note that the next vlog will be around 03 March 2017. As a stock travel and landscape photographer the need for me to explore is embedded within. To discover new places and capture them in the best way that I can. On Sunday 19th February 2017 my photography took me to the Pays de la Loire and Indre-et-Loire in central France. I had two targets in mind. The first was a dawn shoot at Saumur to capture the château reflecting in the river Loire. The second target was to capture the château at Chinon at sunset. In the middle of the day I do a number of recce shoots for the future when the light will be at its optimum. One of the most interesting places to visit during the Naples Underground tours is the beautiful Franciscan Gothic Church of San Lorenzo Maggiore, which is one of the city's most important religious buildings; it was founded around 1300 at the behest of Charles I of Anjou and his successors, and was erected on the remains of Roman structures. Travel video about destination Trnava in Slovakia.
Trnava, in south west Slovakia, is well-protected by a three kilometre-long city wall. Under the protection of the sturdy wall, the monastery and church of Holy Jakobus were created in the fourteenth century with the support of the House Of Anjou. The monastery complex was then considered to be one of the largest religious buildings in the country and served as a place in which God could unite the world. The new city centre contains an imposing Neo-Classical theatre and a tower that was built in 1574. From a height of twenty-nine metres, those in the watchtower were able to warn of any threat of fire. The Jewish synagogue was built in 1831, badly damaged during the Second World War and then neglected for several decades. It now contains a cafe, and women's gallery, along with a permanent collection of Judaica. For centuries, the two towers of the Saint Nikolaus Basilica have characterised the city’s silhouette. Built over a period of nineteen years on the foundations of a Romanesque church, it was completed in 1440. Gothic frescoes still adorn its entrance hall and Baroque altars recall the splendour of a then-flourishing religious city. The colossal wall paintings on both sides of the sixty metre long main nave depict scenes of Christian history. Trnava is a true gem of Renaissance and Late Baroque.

This is a great set of essential oils. I have become a fan of essential oils over the last few years since they are so convenient for so many things. I use essential oils in home made cleaners, soaps, shampoos, bug deterrents and of course in my diffuser.
You receive 6 different oils that are in brown glass bottles. Each bottle has 10 milliliters of oil in it. The main thing I want to point out is that the essential oils are 100% pure. When you place essential oils in a diffuser, you always want to use 100% pure essential oils. The fragrances that you receive are Lavender, Tea Tree, Lemongrass, Sweet Orange, Eucalyptus and Peppermint.

Landscape and Travel Photography in Rome, Italy.
As a stock travel and landscape photographer the need for me to explore is embedded within. To discover new places and capture them in the best way that I can.
From the 29th May to 1st June 2017 I visited Rome for the fourth time. Excessive? Absolutely not! I like to get the best out of a city that I can and if that means multiple visits then so be it. Even now after this short stay I still feel that I am only scratching the surface of the Eternal City.
The vlog show some of what I do during my time as a working travel stock photographer. Creating time lapse sequences and trying to work a particular view that interests me.
Something I will say about this particular vlog is that when listening back to it I seem to have lost the diction that I’d built up over the last few months so apologies for that.

The Château d'Angers is a castle in the city of Angers in the Loire Valley, in the département of Maine-et-Loire, in France. Founded in the 9th century by the Counts of Anjou, was expanded to its current size in the 13th century. It is located overhanging the river Maine. Now open to the public, the Château d'Angers is home of the Apocalypse Tapestry.
Originally, this castle was built as a fortress at one of the sites inhabited by the Romans because of its strategic defensive location.
In the 9th century, the Bishop of Angers gave the Counts of Anjou permission to build a castle in Angers. It became part of the Angevin empire of the Plantagenet Kings of England during the 12th century. In 1204, the region was conquered by Philip II and an enormous castle was built during the minority of his grandson, Louis IX ("Saint Louis") in the early part of the 13th century.[citation needed] The construction undertaken in 1234 cost 4,422 livres, roughly one per cent of the estimated royal revenue at the time. Louis gave the castle to his brother, Charles in 1246.
In 1352, King John II le Bon, gave the castle to his second son, Louis who later became count of Anjou. Married to the daughter of the wealthy Duke of Brittany, Louis had the castle modified, and in 1373 commissioned the famous Apocalypse Tapestry from the painter Hennequin de Bruges and the Parisian tapestry-weaver Nicolas Bataille. Louis II (Louis I's son) and Yolande d'Aragon added a chapel (1405–12) and royal apartments to the complex. The chapel is a sainte chapelle, the name given to churches which enshrined a relic of the Passion. The relic at Angers was a splinter of the fragment of the True Cross which had been acquired by Louis IX.
In the early 15th century, the hapless dauphin who, with the assistance of Joan of Arc would become King Charles VII, had to flee Paris and was given sanctuary at the Château d' Angers.

Married to the daughter of the wealthy Duke of Brittany, Louis had the castle modified, and in 1373 commissioned the famous Apocalypse Tapestry from the painter Hennequin de Bruges and the Parisian tapestry-weaver Nicolas Bataille. Louis II (Louis I's son) and Yolande d'Aragon added a chapel (1405–12) and royal apartments to the complex. The chapel is a sainte chapelle, the name given to churches which enshrined a relic of the Passion. The relic at Angers was a splinter of the fragment of the True Cross which had been acquired by Louis IX.
In the early 15th century, the hapless dauphin who, with the assistance of Joan of Arc would become King Charles VII, had to flee Paris and was given sanctuary at the Château d' Angers.

One of the most interesting places to visit during the Naples Underground tours is the beautiful Franciscan Gothic Church of San Lorenzo Maggiore, which is one of the city's most important religious buildings; it was founded around 1300 at the behest of Charles I of Anjou and his successors, and was erected on the remains of Roman structures.
The site of the church corresponds to the ancient main square of the Greek city and to the Roman Forum, at the intersection between the two main roads that intersected at right angles and formed the heart of the urban agglomeration. Above ground you can still see the columns of the Temple of the Dioscuri, which are now located in front of the Church of San Paolo Maggiore's façade…
