Episode 2 takes you on a visit to one of Rift World's finest repairmen who attemps to repair you.
Colonist is a crossover fan-fiction series that tells the story of a unique individual (you, the viewer) who is on a special journey that will eventually place them as one of the founding colonists of Hadley's Hope on LV-426 and your inevitable host to an alien embryo, though the series will not end in your death. The series will contain various ASMR performances such as an interview, surgery, healing session and more.
Colonist is loosely based upon various fictional works including H. P. Lovecraft, the SCP Foundation and of course primarily Ridley Scott's Bladerunner and Alien films, to which this series pays special homage and tribute to both the franchises and their fans, as well as H.R. Giger's amazing works of art and his fans as well.
There are a few things I wasn't pleased with aesthetically in this episode but I'm too busy/lazy to reshoot (this is a second shoot which I rarely do, but I had to scrap the first one) and for that I apologize, especially in regards to the works this is based on. You, and they, deserve a better production. But hopefully you will enjoy regardless, especially those of you who like me and are fans of the works.

What is ASMR? Why am I whispering?
ASMR stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response and is the current (non-scientific) name given to the feeling characterized as a pleasurable tingling sensation felt in the head, scalp, back and other regions of the body in response to visual, auditory, tactile, olfactory, and/or cognitive stimuli, such as crinkling bags, hand movements, whispering and personal attention.
My videos are not only meant to help induce ASMR or "tingles", but also help provide a relaxing, calming and soothing experience for the viewer while helping to relieve their anxiety relief, stress relief, insomnia relief, to help those suffering with PTSD or depression, to serve as a study aid and much more.

In this opening episode you are introduced to our mysterious main character as we learn a little about who you are.

The American Revolution (HIST 116)
Professor Freeman discusses what it meant to be a British colonist in America in the eighteenth century. She explains how American colonists had deep bonds of tradition and culture with Great Britain. She argues that, as British colonists with a strong sense of their British liberties, settlers in America valued their liberties above all else. She also explains that many Americans had a sense of inferiority when they compared their colonial lifestyles to the sophistication of Europe. Professor Freeman discusses the social order in America during the eighteenth century, and suggests that the lack of an entrenched aristocracy made social rank more fluid in America than in Europe. She ends the lecture by suggesting that the great importance that American colonists placed on British liberties and their link with Britain helped pave the way for the Revolution.

Colonist is a crossover fan-fiction series that tells the story of a unique individual (you, the viewer) who is on a special journey that will eventually place them as one of the founding colonists of Hadley's Hope on LV-426 and your inevitable host to an alien embryo, though the series will not end in your death. The series will contain various ASMR performances such as an interview, surgery, healing session and more.

In this particular episode I have no problem admitting that the story may not be that strong, and that's for a few reasons. The series itself is a slow burn and is in no hurry to reach its goal. This particular episode plays upon the ASMR aspect of rambling and is also a bit of a lull between episode 2 and where the story is headed next. Lastly, I don't script anything, ever. I prefer being a performer rather than a writer, which isn't my strong suit. I prefer the spontaneity, freedom and Happy Accidents that improv affords. However, I can tell you that while nothing is scripted, I am moving towards the goal of this series: for you to become host to an alien embryo. Pretty cool, huh. ;)

The American Revolution (HIST 116) Professor Freeman discusses what it meant to be a British colonist in America in the eighteenth century. She explains how American colonists had deep bonds of tradition and culture with Great Britain. She argues that, as British colonists with a strong sense of their British liberties, settlers in America valued their liberties above all else. She also explains that many Americans had a sense of inferiority when they compared their colonial lifestyles to the sophistication of Europe. Professor Freeman discusses the social order in America during the eighteenth century, and suggests that the lack of an entrenched aristocracy made social rank more fluid in America than in Europe. Episode 3 of Colonist takes you back to the home of our mysterious character where we learn a little more about you and your mission. Colonist is a crossover fan-fiction series that tells the story of a unique individual (you, the viewer) who is on a special journey that will eventually place them as one of the founding colonists of Hadley's Hope on LV-426 and your inevitable host to an alien embryo, though the series will not end in your death. The series will contain various ASMR performances such as an interview, surgery, healing session and more. Colonist is loosely based upon various fictional works including H. P. Lovecraft, the SCP Foundation and of course primarily Ridley Scott's Bladerunner and Alien films, to which this series pays special homage and tribute to both the franchises and their fans, as well as H.R. Giger's amazing works of art. In this particular episode I have no problem admitting that the story may not be that strong, and that's for a few reasons. The series itself is a slow burn and is in no hurry to reach its goal. This particular episode plays upon the ASMR aspect of rambling and is also a bit of a lull between episode 2 and where the story is headed next. Lastly, I don't script anything, ever. I prefer being a performer rather than a writer, which isn't my strong suit. I prefer the spontaneity, freedom and Happy Accidents that improv affords. However, I can tell you that while nothing is scripted, I am moving towards the goal of this series: for you to become host to an alien embryo. There are a few things I wasn't pleased with aesthetically in this episode but I'm too busy/lazy to reshoot (this is a second shoot which I rarely do, but I had to scrap the first one) and for that I apologize, especially in regards to the works this is based on. You, and they, deserve a better production. But hopefully you will enjoy regardless, especially those of you who like me and are fans of the works.

Colonist is loosely based upon various fictional works including H. P. Lovecraft, the SCP Foundation and of course primarily Ridley Scott's Bladerunner and Alien films, to which this series pays special homage and tribute to both the franchises and their fans, as well as H.R. Giger's amazing works of art and his fans as well.
There are a few things I wasn't pleased with aesthetically in this episode but I'm too busy/lazy to reshoot (this is a second shoot which I rarely do, but I had to scrap the first one) and for that I apologize, especially in regards to the works this is based on. You, and they, deserve a better production. But hopefully you will enjoy regardless, especially those of you who like me and are fans of the works.

ASMR stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response and is the current (non-scientific) name given to the feeling characterized as a pleasurable tingling sensation felt in the head, scalp, back and other regions of the body in response to visual, auditory, tactile, olfactory, and/or cognitive stimuli, such as crinkling bags, hand movements, whispering and personal attention.
My videos are not only meant to help induce ASMR or "tingles", but also help provide a relaxing, calming and soothing experience for the viewer while helping to relieve their anxiety relief, stress relief, insomnia relief, to help those suffering with PTSD or depression, to serve as a study aid and much more.

In this opening episode you are introduced to our mysterious main character as we learn a little about who you are.
Colonist is a crossover fan-fiction series that tells the story of a unique individual (you, the viewer) who is on a special journey that will eventually place them as one of the founding colonists of Hadley's Hope on LV-426 and your inevitable host to an alien embryo, though the series will not end in your death. The series will contain various ASMR performances such as an interview, surgery, healing session and more.

Professor Freeman discusses what it meant to be a British colonist in America in the eighteenth century. She explains how American colonists had deep bonds of tradition and culture with Great Britain. She argues that, as British colonists with a strong sense of their British liberties, settlers in America valued their liberties above all else. She also explains that many Americans had a sense of inferiority when they compared their colonial lifestyles to the sophistication of Europe. Professor Freeman discusses the social order in America during the eighteenth century, and suggests that the lack of an entrenched aristocracy made social rank more fluid in America than in Europe. She ends the lecture by suggesting that the great importance that American colonists placed on British liberties and their link with Britain helped pave the way for the Revolution.

Episode 3 of Colonist takes you back to the home of our mysterious character where we learn a little more about you and your mission.
Colonist is a crossover fan-fiction series that tells the story of a unique individual (you, the viewer) who is on a special journey that will eventually place them as one of the founding colonists of Hadley's Hope on LV-426 and your inevitable host to an alien embryo, though the series will not end in your death. The series will contain various ASMR performances such as an interview, surgery, healing session and more.
Colonist is loosely based upon various fictional works including H. P. Lovecraft, the SCP Foundation and of course primarily Ridley Scott's Bladerunner and Alien films, to which this series pays special homage and tribute to both the franchises and their fans, as well as H.R. Giger's amazing works of art.
In this particular episode I have no problem admitting that the story may not be that strong, and that's for a few reasons. The series itself is a slow burn and is in no hurry to reach its goal. This particular episode plays upon the ASMR aspect of rambling and is also a bit of a lull between episode 2 and where the story is headed next. Lastly, I don't script anything, ever. I prefer being a performer rather than a writer, which isn't my strong suit. I prefer the spontaneity, freedom and Happy Accidents that improv affords. However, I can tell you that while nothing is scripted, I am moving towards the goal of this series: for you to become host to an alien embryo. Pretty cool, huh. ;)

What is ASMR? Why am I whispering?
ASMR stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response and is the current (non-scientific) name given to the feeling characterized as a pleasurable tingling sensation felt in the head, scalp, back and other regions of the body in response to visual, auditory, tactile, olfactory, and/or cognitive stimuli, such as crinkling bags, hand movements, whispering and personal attention.
My videos are not only meant to help induce ASMR or "tingles", but also help provide a relaxing, calming and soothing experience for the viewer while helping to relieve their anxiety relief, stress relief, insomnia relief, to help those suffering with PTSD or depression, to serve as a study aid and much more.

This is an interview with Geoff Westcott, son of soldier settler Percy Valentine Westcott who fought at Gallipoli. Upon returning home, Percy settled with his wife on a soldier settlement block in the Mallee where Geoff grew up. As this interview shows, the horses owned by the soldier settlers were extremely important as workers and companions - some valued their horses so much that they built accommodation for their horses before themselves!
