Officially the world's highest commercial bungee jump at 233 m/764 ft.
Jumping happened 5th Jan 2012 from Macau Tower, Macau; China. It was wet, it was windy and my God was it scary.
Here are 10 of the scariest places to bungee jump.
If your usual bungee jumping spots just aren’t making your heart race like they used to, consider checking out one of these locales.
Here are the 10 scariest places to take the plunge.
Number 10. The Royal Gorge Suspension Bridge, Colorado, United States. If a 9 hundred foot fall sounds good, then head here.
The bridge itself is one of the country’s tallest, rising over 1000 feet from solid ground.
Number 9. Bloukrans Bridge, Cape Town, South Africa. 2 of every 10 people who set out to take the leap back off from the challenge. Not only is it 700 feet high, it’s known to be in the path of some seriously strong cross winds.
Number 8. Macau Tower, China. If you find beautiful views of rivers and cliffs cloud your ability to focus on the adrenaline rush, consider this location. At the bottom of 750-plus foot drop is a parking lot.
Number 7. The Last Resort, Kathmandu, Nepal. No serene water watching to calm your nerves here. The jump is built over the Bhote Koshi River, one the country’s wildest.
Number 6. The Verzasca Dam, Ticino, Switzerland. If the dream is to emulate James Bond, then this is the place. The opening sequence of the 1995 spy thriller ‘Golden Eye’ was filmed here. After falling over 700 feet, a martini may definitely be in order.
Number 5. AJ Hackett Skypark Sochi, Sochi, Russia. This site combines the pleasures of walking 650 feet above land on a suspension bridge and jumping off of it. Air divers can select their departure point of choice along the 18-hundred-foot walkway.
Number 4. The Kolnbrein Dam, Malta, Carthinia, Austria. The opportunity to launch oneself off of a dam that’s over 500 feet high is rare. The novelty is reflected in the price, as it of the most expensive bungee excursions out there.
Number 3. Taupo Bungy, Lake Taupo, New Zealand. Talk about a grand finale, this place gives the option of plummeting straight into the ice cold water below. The depth of the immersion is customizable.
Number 2. Sky Breakers, Finland. Bridges and dams are great, but the problem for some is that they only build them so high. Thanks to this team of event organizers, the chosen can push off from a hot air balloon floating 6000 feet up in the sky.
Number 1. Niouc Bridge, Switzerland. Once you’ve mastered jumping off of the site’s shaky bridge, consider doing it in the dark. Every now and again they offer moonlight events.

The world's highest bungee jump from a bridge can be done in South Africa. (216 Meter). The Bloukrans Bridge located on the Garden Route in South Africa. It spans the river Bloukrans in Tsitsikamma National Park. Here the currently highest bridge bungee jump in the world. My daughter wanted this adventure on her birthday. The weather was not so good on this day. We had rain, fog and sun . But we drove off. Round-trip each 250 km away. Was a long way. The jump was pure adrenaline. It was a great day.
Den weltweit höchsten Bungee Sprung von einer Brücke kann man in Südafrika machen. ( 216 Meter) Die Bloukransbrücke befindet sich an der Garden Rute in Südafrika. Sie überspannt den Fluß Bloukrans im Tsitsikamma-Nationalpark. Hier ist der zur Zeit weltweit höchste Bungeessprung von einer Brücke möglich. Meine Tochter hatte sich dieses Abenteuer zum Geburtstag gewünscht. Das Wetter war an diesem Tag nicht so gut. Wir hatten Regen, Nebel und Sonne im Wechsel. Aber wir fuhren los. Hin und Rückfahrt jeweils 250 km. Es war ein langer Weg.
Der Sprung war Adrenalin pur. Es war ein großartiger Tag.

Sie überspannt den Fluß Bloukrans im Tsitsikamma-Nationalpark. Hier ist der zur Zeit weltweit höchste Bungeessprung von einer Brücke möglich. Meine Tochter hatte sich dieses Abenteuer zum Geburtstag gewünscht. Das Wetter war an diesem Tag nicht so gut. Wir hatten Regen, Nebel und Sonne im Wechsel. Aber wir fuhren los. Hin und Rückfahrt jeweils 250 km. Es war ein langer Weg. Der Sprung war Adrenalin pur. Es war ein großartiger Tag. It spans the river Bloukrans in Tsitsikamma National Park. Here the currently highest bridge bungee jump in the world. My daughter wanted this adventure on her birthday. The weather was not so good on this day. We had rain, fog and sun . But we drove off. Round-trip each 250 km away. Was a long way. The jump was pure adrenaline. It was a great day.
Den weltweit höchsten Bungee Sprung von einer Brücke kann man in Südafrika machen. ( 216 Meter) Die Bloukransbrücke befindet sich an der Garden Rute in Südafrika. Sie überspannt den Fluß Bloukrans im Tsitsikamma-Nationalpark. Hier ist der zur Zeit weltweit höchste Bungeessprung von einer Brücke möglich. Meine Tochter hatte sich dieses Abenteuer zum Geburtstag gewünscht. Das Wetter war an diesem Tag nicht so gut. Wir hatten Regen, Nebel und Sonne im Wechsel. Aber wir fuhren los. Hin und Rückfahrt jeweils 250 km. Es war ein langer Weg.
Der Sprung war Adrenalin pur. Es war ein großartiger Tag.

A father has criticised a council for continuing to licence a taxi driver who was convicted for unlawfully restraining his autistic son. He said the driver had tied up his son with "bungee cords" while taking him to and from a Lancashire school.
