Melanie Müller

Melanie "Melli" Müller (born 10 June 1988) is a German television personality, model and former pornographic actress.

Early life

From 2005 to 2009, Müller, who was born in Oschatz, trained as a restaurant specialist and a bartender. Discovered by photographer Andreas Koll, she began working as an erotic model in 2010.

Career

In 2012, she had a brief career in pornographic films with the stage name Scarlet Young. In 2013, Müller was a contestant on the third season of Der Bachelor, the German version of The Bachelor, where she was a finalist. In April 2013, she released the song "Ob Mann, ob Frau - ich nehm's nicht so genau". In June 2013, she took part on the TV show Pool Champions. The same month, she appeared in the Taff series Projekt Paradies: Promi-Heilfasten. In the summer of 2013, she made a mini musical tour in Mallorca.

Since January 2014, Müller has won the RTL reality show Ich bin ein Star – Holt mich hier raus!. In April the same year, she released "Auf geht's, Deutschland schießt ein Tor!" (trasl. "Let's go, Germany score!"), a song for the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

Müller Ltd. & Co. KG (Müller) is a chain of retail stores with headquarters in Ulm, Germany. Since 2004 the company is registered in London.

History

The hairdresser Erwin Franz Müller founded his company in Ulm on 5 March 1953. By 1968 the company had opened additional outlets in Munich and Karlsruhe. In 1976 the construction of a corporate headquarters began in Ulm-Jungingen. In 1978 annual revenue crossed 100 million D-Mark for the first time. From 1980 to 1985 the company opened 59 new outlets, was converted into the Müller GmbH & Co. KG in 1985 and then opened another 86 outlets by 1990.

Since then the company has expanded internationally. By December 2011 they had a total of 643 outlets, 481 in Germany, 41 in Switzerland (by acquiring Estorel AG), 34 in Hungary, 50 in Austria, 9 in Spain (only Mallorca), 14 in Slovenia and 14 in Croatia.

Müller has more than 22,000 employees. In 2010 the company earned revenues of 2.42 billion Euro. Erwin Müller and Elke Menold are General Managers of the company.

Müller (lunar crater)

Müller is a lunar impact crater. It is located in the highlands near the center of the Moon, in the center of the triangle formed by the much larger craters Albategnius, Ptolemaeus, and Hipparchus. To the east lies Halley, while to the northwest is Gyldén.

The rim of this crater is irregular and slightly oblong, with the long dimension oriented along a north–south axis. The southeastern rim is notched by two smaller craters identified as Müller A and Müller O.

Perhaps the most distinctive feature of this crater is the peculiar linear formation of small craters that starts at the southern edge of Müller's rim. These follow a line to the northwest, tangential to the rim of Ptolemaeus.

Satellite craters

By convention these features are identified on lunar maps by placing the letter on the side of the crater midpoint that is closest to Müller.

Melanie

Melanie is a feminine given name derived from the Greek μελανία (melania), "blackness" and that from μέλας (melas), meaning "dark". Borne in its Latin form by two saints: Melania the Elder and her granddaughter Melania the Younger, the name was introduced to England by the Normans in its French form Melanie. However the name only became common in English usage in the 1930s due to the popularity of Margaret Mitchell's 1936 novel Gone with the Wind and its 1939 film adaptation, as one of the novel's main characters was named Melanie Hamilton. The name's popularity increased until the 1970s since remaining constant. Melanie was the 80th most popular name for girls born in the United States in 2007 and, as Mélanie, it was the 86th most popular name for girls born in France in 2004.

Even Worse

Even Worse is the fifth studio album by "Weird Al" Yankovic, released in 1988. The album was the fifth produced by former The McCoys guitarist Rick Derringer. Recorded between November 1987 and February 1988, this album helped to revitalize Yankovic's career after the critical and commercial disappointment of his previous album Polka Party! (1986).

The music on Even Worse is built around parodies and pastiches of pop and rock music of the mid-1980s. Half of the album is made up of parodies, featuring jabs at Michael Jackson, George Harrison, Tiffany, Los Lobos' version of the folk song "La Bamba", and Billy Idol. The other half of the album is original material, featuring many "style parodies", or musical imitations that come close to, but do not copy, existing artists. These style parodies include imitations of specific artists such as Oingo Boingo, Beastie Boys, and James Taylor. Even Worse has the distinction of being one of two albums by Yankovic lacking any polka renditions of pop songs or medleys, the other being his debut album "Weird Al" Yankovic (1983). This album's title and cover art are spoofs of Michael Jackson's 1987 album Bad.

Plot summary

Melanie (O'Connor) travels to Los Angeles in an effort to regain custody of her son from her ex-husband (Johnson). Her illiteracy poses a major obstacle. She meets a faded musician (Cummings) with whom she develops a relationship.
