transformed into a gaming machine with the addition of a Radeon 5870 1GB.
It utilises the Conroe Core 2 Duo E6400 at 2.4GHz in the 775 Socket.
This chip offers similar performance to the E6300 or Athlon X2 5000+

Isso mesmo! Core 2 Duo E8400 rodando GTA 5 sem overclock. Claro que o desempenho não é dos melhores, mas nada mal para um Dual-Core de 7 anos atrás.
A GTX 650 pode rodar esse jogo super bem em 1360x768 e até mesmo em 1920x1080 acompanhada de uma boa configuração com processador quad-core, mas no meu caso ela fica muito limitada.
Configuração:
-Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 3.0Ghz
-GTX 650 1Gb GDDR5 128bits
-4Gb DDR2 800Mhz
-Windows 7 Ultimate 64bits
Média de FPS: 20-30 dentro da cidade. Com DirectX 10 o desempenho é pouca coisa melhor, o maior ganho e fora da cidade.
Em 1920x1080 o desempenho também é muito parecido.

Welcome back to my channel, this is first benchmarking video between Intel Pentium 4 672, Intel Core 2 Duo E8500, Intel Core i3 3220 and Core 2 Quad Q9300 processors.
Today I'm testing Tomb Raider 2013 to see how well it goes on each of these processors.
Pentium 4 672 is overclocked to @4.8GHz to prevent bottleneck for graphics card, atho all other processors are on the stock speeds.
Setups I'm using:
For Pentium 4 672, Core 2 Duo E8500 and Core 2 Quad Q9300 I'm using the same motherboard which is Gigabyte GA31-ES-2L F1 motherboard with 4GB of RAM @800MHz, and NVidia GeForce N650GTX MSI-OC version, Windows 7 64bit operating system.
For i3 3220 I'm using Gigabyte GA-Z77M-D3H-MVP motherboard with 4GB of RAM @1333MHz, and NVidia GeForce N650GTX MSI-OC version, Windows 7 64bit operating system.

In this video I will upgrade the AACAT web server from the Gateway 832GM to the HP Compaq dc7800p. That means it is going from a Pentium 4 machine to a core 2 duo. During the video I also found 2 more sticks of DDR2 RAM totaling the RAM in the new system to 3GB. Unfortunately not all went as smoothly as I hoped it would. It was not a simple plug and play job, I had to completely reinstall Windows and reconfigure all of my programs on the new server.
New server specs: Core 2 duo 2.33Ghz, 3gb DDR2 RAM, Segate Barracuda 7200rpm 250gb hard drive.

Intel Core is a brand name used for various mid-range to high-end consumer and business microprocessors made by Intel.
In general, processors sold as Core are more powerful variants of the same processors marketed as entry-level Celeron and Pentium. Similarly, identically or more capable versions of Core processors are also sold as Xeon processors for the server and workstation market.
The current lineup of Core processors includes the latest Intel Core i7, Intel Core i5, and Intel Core i3, and the older Intel Core 2 Solo, Intel Core 2 Duo, Intel Core 2 Quad, and Intel Core 2 Extreme lines.
The original Core brand refers to Intel's 32-bit mobile dual-core x86 CPUs that derived from the Pentium M branded processors. The processor family used a more enhanced version of the Intel P6 microarchitecture. It emerged in parallel with the NetBurst microarchitecture (Intel P68) of the Pentium 4 brand, and was a precursor of the 64-bit Core microarchitecture of Core 2 branded CPUs. Isso mesmo! Core 2 Duo E8400 rodando GTA 5 sem overclock. Claro que o desempenho não é dos melhores, mas nada mal para um Dual-Core de 7 anos atrás.
A GTX 650 pode rodar esse jogo super bem em 1360x768 e até mesmo em 1920x1080 acompanhada de uma boa configuração com processador quad-core, mas no meu caso ela fica muito limitada.
Configuração:
-Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 3.0Ghz
-GTX 650 1Gb GDDR5 128bits
-4Gb DDR2 800Mhz
-Windows 7 Ultimate 64bits
Média de FPS: 20-30 dentro da cidade. Com DirectX 10 o desempenho é pouca coisa melhor, o maior ganho e fora da cidade.
Em 1920x1080 o desempenho também é muito parecido.

Welcome back to my channel, this is first benchmarking video between Intel Pentium 4 672, Intel Core 2 Duo E8500, Intel Core i3 3220 and Core 2 Quad Q9300 processors.
Today I'm testing Tomb Raider 2013 to see how well it goes on each of these processors.
Pentium 4 672 is overclocked to @4.8GHz to prevent bottleneck for graphics card, atho all other processors are on the stock speeds.
Setups I'm using:
For Pentium 4 672, Core 2 Duo E8500 and Core 2 Quad Q9300 I'm using the same motherboard which is Gigabyte GA31-ES-2L F1 motherboard with 4GB of RAM @800MHz, and NVidia GeForce N650GTX MSI-OC version, Windows 7 64bit operating system.
For i3 3220 I'm using Gigabyte GA-Z77M-D3H-MVP motherboard with 4GB of RAM @1333MHz, and NVidia GeForce N650GTX MSI-OC version, Windows 7 64bit operating system.

In this video I will upgrade the AACAT web server from the Gateway 832GM to the HP Compaq dc7800p. That means it is going from a Pentium 4 machine to a core 2 duo. During the video I also found 2 more sticks of DDR2 RAM totaling the RAM in the new system to 3GB. Unfortunately not all went as smoothly as I hoped it would. It was not a simple plug and play job, I had to completely reinstall Windows and reconfigure all of my programs on the new server.
New server specs: Core 2 duo 2.33Ghz, 3gb DDR2 RAM, Segate Barracuda 7200rpm 250gb hard drive.

Ark Survival Evolved - Core 2 Duo E8400
Probando el ARK en un Core 2 Duo E8400 3.00 Ghz 4 GB RAM DDR2 800 kingston Dual Channel Video AMD ATI Sapphire 5830 Xtreme 1 Gb GDDR5 El juego es jugable un 100% con un poco de tirones y bajones de fps pero nada molesto porque funciona excelente, apenas un tirón cada tanto, pero si lo pones sin sombras corre de maravilla a unos 45 - 60 FPS Al juego lo tenia todo en alto a 1280 x 720 Estaba sin sonido porque si lo jugas en Extremly Low Memory le quita el sonido y eso no lo sabia, pensé que era un error de incompatibilidad de mi pc pero buscando info encontré que decía que así se le iba el sonido, ahora lo pongo en Low Memory 4GB y si tiene sonido. Probando el ARK en un Core 2 Duo E8400 3.00 Ghz
4 GB RAM DDR2 800 kingston Dual Channel
Video AMD ATI Sapphire 5830 Xtreme 1 Gb GDDR5
El juego es jugable un 100% con un poco de tirones y bajones de fps pero nada molesto porque funciona excelente, apenas un tirón cada tanto, pero si lo pones sin sombras corre de maravilla a unos 45 - 60 FPS
Al juego lo tenia todo en alto a 1280 x 720
Estaba sin sonido porque si lo jugas en Extremly Low Memory le quita el sonido y eso no lo sabia, pensé que era un error de incompatibilidad de mi pc pero buscando info encontré que decía que así se le iba el sonido, ahora lo pongo en Low Memory 4GB y si tiene sonido.

Espero les sea útil por si no se animan a comprarlo por miedo a que sus pc no lo corra, pero la verdad es que es un juego increíble lo recomiendo a full es muy bueno, lastima que un poco mal optimizado pero de apoco seguro lo van a ir solucionando, no se olviden que apenas es una versión alfa.
RECOMENDACIÓN: Tener mas de 4 GB de RAM ya que consume demasiada memoria RAM y por eso el juego tarda muchísimo en cargar y aveces se queda atascado en la carga por la falta de memoria y me salta el cartel de Windows que me quedo sin memoria, aconsejo cerrar todo los procesos que puedan, antivirus, torrent, etc. Todo lo que este en segundo plano cerrarlo para que haya lo mas mínimo de memoria usada y quede toda la mayoría dedicada al juego.
