I thought I'd cover the issue of the MBA or married but available relationships. Also known as open relationships. This isn't monkey branching at it's finest where the man or woman is married and looking for a new spouse. This is just fun on the side without consequences so long as the two spouses are in agreement. It's a way for a woman to ride the cock carousel after getting married and usually the husband is perfectly fine with it. They both tell each other that they have an open relationship but quite often the open relationship works far better for the woman then the man because the woman obviously has higher sexual marketplace value. Or in some cases either or both people in the couple is bisexual. Usually just the female. Because if the man is into dudes then he could be having a lot of sex and she might get jealous. But if they are a straight couple then she's guaranteed to come out on top. Pun most certainly intended. Fifteen years ago I heard about a new website called Ashley Madison that not only helped people cheat on their spouses or have open relationships it encourages it. I remember when the website was first released there was a lot of anger and hostility from many women because the assumption was boing made that husbands everywhere would be secretly going on a website like that and starting up relationships without their wives knowing about it. But let's get real, the average man works forty to fifty hours a week and he doesn't have time to deal with a second woman in his life. Any guy out there that's dated two or more women simultaneously knows that between work and a relationship it's hard to have a side relationship. But for women it's different. She can talk to you for two hours a night, get off the phone and feel energized enough to go and talk to another guy for a couple of hours. And if she has a job as a teacher, nurse or other government type job her responsibilities are no where near as much as working at a private industry employer so her time and energy are freed up to receive attention from over worked men. And then there's the obvious issue of a woman not willing to usually date a guy that's already married. He's someone else's workhorse. The only way that she would share him with another woman is if he's rich and can afford to spoil and take out both of them. As we all know relationships are expensive. So from that angle it's a lot harder for a man to have an open relationship. A woman on the other hand if she's attractive can easily get men to line up to spend time with her. She doesn't need to be successful at work. All she needs to do is be available. So I hope I've made my case that open relationships work out a lot better for women then they do for men. I guess the only benefit the man would have is that he's having sex with his wife even if he has to share. Perhaps she's using the other guy she's involved with as the emotional tampon. Or perhaps she's using other men to take her out for dinners so she doesn't have to get her husband to do it.
