SO... Here it is! The Night Rail Before Christmas is a coaster inspired by the animated film Nightmare Before Christmas. For this coaster we are featuring some very talented builders. Please take the time to visit their channels in the links below. None of them have big channels and they are just trying to get their channels going so please take the time to encourage them. I see big things coming from them in the future!
*This map will not be available for download but we are currently rebuilding all our coasters and new ones on The Emerald Isle server (opening soon) with our awesome friend and partner ChooChoo at ChooChoosGaming, so that you will be able to enjoy them there!
As always our build is done on the XBOX 360. The only mod we used was the blank map by oPryzeLP so we didn't have to do hours of TNT prior to the build. The only editing on this video was to add sound and credits. This is at the normal XBOX speed (before the TU12 update). This coaster has taken 2 ½ months to build.

When designing the Night Rail™, we wanted to design a handguard that was easy to install, but also to be able to mount with a full 360 degrees of contact, making it a true free float rail system.
Our new patent pending two piece barrel nut is one of a kind. We developed this from the ground up and the machining it takes to make the barrel nut, rivals the time making the actual rail.
That's not to say the rail is simple to make. One look and you'll see that we really took time with this in design and development. What we ended up with is a rail that not only looks amazing, but is still true to our lightweight brand. The barrel nut/mounting system keeps the rail performing even during the harshest conditions.
Being the leaders of the industry in rail innovation and design, it's always a challenge to innovation new products that function well as well as look good doing so. We're up for the challenge with the next chapter of our product line - the Night™ Series.

This is a preview of our Nightmare Before Christmas themed roller coaster. We decided to return to the dark style of Beetlejuice for this one.

We are excited to feature two amazing Youtubers, Vinny8ball666 and Way High Minecraft Guy with Night Rail. They have played a big part throughout this build. We hope that you will take the time to check out their channels below.
We are shooting for a release of August 23rd but as always we never push a video we are not happy with so please be patient with us. We also understand that the 4j has decided to change (as if it was broken) the speed of minecarts in the TU12 update. Because our roller coasters are timed to the music the release of TU12 will completely change things for us which means redoing the WHOLE rail system. SO, twitter @4j studios #nurosaysno on our behalf and tell them NOT TO CHANGE the minecart speeds for XBOX.
For those of you already wondering this coaster will not be avail for download. We have done one better! We are making a version for PC on The Emerald Isle server which will be made public just after the release of Night Rail. Now you can enjoy it over and over without XBOX lag =)
As always this is built in XBOX360 creative mode.

Königswinter is located on the River Rhine in North Rhine Westphalia in Germany. It has a railway line which is extremely busy with freight traffic to and from the North Sea Ports and industrial Northern Germany / industrial Southern Germany, and pretty much anywhere in Europe between including the Rhone Valley route through France and the routes through Austria.
This video features night time freight traffic from Königswinter main station, and by the towns level crossings. The freight includes containers, wagon trailers, cars, logs and much intermodal traffic. This rushes through at high speeds causing much noise which is a contentious issue in the Rhine valley, but the price of being an industrial powerhouse.

Nightgown
A nightgown, nightie or nightdress is a loosely hanging item of nightwear, today almost exclusively worn by women. A nightgown is made from cotton, silk, satin, or nylon and may be decorated with lace appliqués or embroidery at the bust and hem.
A nightgown may have any neckline, and may have sleeves of any type, or be sleeveless, and any shoulder strap or back style. The length of a nightgown may vary from hip-length to floor-length. A short nightgown can be called a "shortie" or a "babydoll", depending on the style. The sweep (taper from top to bottom) of the night gown can vary from virtually straight, to full circle sweep, like the Olga gown pictured below. A slip nightgown may be used as a nightgown or as a full slip. Nightgowns may be worn with a matching outer garment, a robe, sheer chiffon peignoir or dressing gown, to make them appropriate for receiving guests.
History
The Workwoman's Guide, which was published in London in 1838, describes various types of nightgowns. High-collared style gowns were more prominent in that era.

Night Rail Freight Through Königswinter, Germany - 7th & 8th January, 2014
Königswinter is located on the River Rhine in North Rhine Westphalia in Germany. It has a railway line which is extremely busy with freight traffic to and from the North Sea Ports and industrial Northern Germany / industrial Southern Germany, and pretty much anywhere in Europe between including the Rhone Valley route through France and the routes through Austria. This video features night time freight traffic from Königswinter main station, and by the towns level crossings. The freight includes containers, wagon trailers, cars, logs and much intermodal traffic. This rushes through at high speeds causing much noise which is a contentious issue in the Rhine valley, but the price of being an industrial powerhouse. -

SO... Here it is! The Night Rail Before Christmas is a coaster inspired by the animated film Nightmare Before Christmas. For this coaster we are featuring some very talented builders. Please take the time to visit their channels in the links below. None of them have big channels and they are just trying to get their channels going so please take the time to encourage them. *This map will not be available for download but we are currently rebuilding all our coasters and new ones on The Emerald Isle server (opening soon) with our awesome friend and partner ChooChoo at ChooChoosGaming, so that you will be able to enjoy them there!
As always our build is done on the XBOX 360. The only mod we used was the blank map by oPryzeLP so we didn't have to do hours of TNT prior to the build. The only editing on this video was to add sound and credits. This is at the normal XBOX speed (before the TU12 update). This coaster has taken 2 ½ months to build.

When designing the Night Rail™, we wanted to design a handguard that was easy to install, but also to be able to mount with a full 360 degrees of contact, making it a true free float rail system.
Our new patent pending two piece barrel nut is one of a kind. We developed this from the ground up and the machining it takes to make the barrel nut, rivals the time making the actual rail.
That's not to say the rail is simple to make. One look and you'll see that we really took time with this in design and development. What we ended up with is a rail that not only looks amazing, but is still true to our lightweight brand. The barrel nut/mounting system keeps the rail performing even during the harshest conditions.
Being the leaders of the industry in rail innovation and design, it's always a challenge to innovation new products that function well as well as look good doing so. We're up for the challenge with the next chapter of our product line - the Night™ Series.

Camera Rail Timelapse Day to Night at Cherry Springs Dark Sky Park on July 7, 2016
On July 7, 2016 I took a camera rail timelapse using a Full Spectrum modified T5i and a Rokinon 14mm lens at f2.8. The lens dewed up shortly after sunset. At 3:10 am the night sky became very foggy ending the timelapse. -
Rail Grinders at Night on the Willard Subdivision in Fostoria and Bascom, Ohio
This was filmed back in September of 2015. This was during the Fostoria Railfest Weekend. We were at the depot in Fostoria when a switch grinder and a rail grinder pulled up and sat at the signals. While we were taking photos one of the guys on the rail grinder got out and started talking to us and said that once they got clearance they would head East of Fostoria to start grinding all the way to Cleveland. So we went East of town and watched the convoy go through Bascom. This was my first time seeing a rail grinder grinding (I've seen them in Windsor but not actually grinding and before I had this channel). It was even cooler to see it at night with all of the sparks and hot pieces of rail glowing against the darkness of small town Ohio. Enjoy the video! Thanks for watching! A CPWindsor...

On the 4th of April 2015, the Australian Railway Historical Society (ARHS) held a special event, amongst the steam shuttles being run from the 3rd to the 6th by the Ex-NSWGR suburban locomotive 3016, the Garratt DC 6029 would run it's first night run to Bungendore. The amount of stock they have at the museum is incredible. Most of it from first glance is in even better condition than the stuff at Thirlmere.
