DIRECTOR’S STATEMENT:
I am very grateful for the opportunity to direct this film. My goal was
challenging and unique – I had to cope with 12 main characters of the film, as well as with numerous
actors in the crowd scenes. Almost every episode involved more than 150 people. I’m really looking
forward to the very moment when the film will be ready to be presented to the viewers. I found this story
very interesting to work with, since we have so many films about the Great Patriotic War, but almost
nothing about the First World War. That is why we had to develop our own approach to this story.

A battalion is a military unit of around 300–1,200 soldiers usually consisting of between two and seven companies and typically commanded by either a Lieutenant Colonel or a Colonel. Several battalions are grouped to form a regiment or a brigade.
The nomenclature varies by nationality and by branch of arms, for instance, some armies organize their infantry into battalions, but call battalion-sized cavalry, reconnaissance, or tank units a squadron or a regiment instead. There may even be subtle distinctions within a nation's branches of arms, such as a distinction between a tank battalion and an armored squadron, depending on how the unit's operational role is perceived to fit into the army's historical organization.
A battalion is generally the smallest military unit capable of independent operations (i.e., not attached to a higher command), although many armies have smaller units that are self-sustaining. The battalion is usually part of a regiment, group or a brigade, depending on the organizational model used by that service. The bulk of a battalion will ordinarily be homogeneous with respect to type (e.g., an infantry battalion or a tank battalion), although there are many exceptions. Every battalion will also include some sort of combat service support, typically organized within a combat support company.

listen); born 7 October 1952) is a Russian politician who has been the President of Russia since 7 May 2012. Putin previously served as President from 2000 to 2008 and as Prime Minister of Russia from 1999 to 2000, and again from 2008 to 2012. Putin also serves as chairman of United Russia and Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Union of Russia and Belarus. He became acting President on 31 December 1999, when president Boris Yeltsin resigned in a surprising move. Putin won the 2000 presidential election; in 2004 he was re-elected for a second term lasting until 7 May 2008.
Because of constitutionally mandated term limits, Putin was ineligible to run for a third consecutive presidential term. After his successor Dmitry Medvedev won the 2008 presidential election, Putin was nominated by Medvedev to be Russia's Prime Minister; Putin took office on 8 May 2008 and a period of so-called "tandemocracy" followed. In September 2011, Putin and Medvedev agreed he should seek a third, non-consecutive term in the 2012 presidential election, which he won in the first round on 4 March 2012.

DIRECTOR’S STATEMENT:
I am very grateful for the opportunity to direct this film. My goal was
challenging and unique – I had to cope with 12 main characters of the film, as well as with numerous
actors in the crowd scenes. Almost every episode involved more than 150 people. I’m really looking
forward to the very moment when the film will be ready to be presented to the viewers. I found this story
very interesting to work with, since we have so many films about the Great Patriotic War, but almost
nothing about the First World War. That is why we had to develop our own approach to this story.

was born on October 31, 1963 in Leningrad, RSFSR, USSR. He is a producer and director, known for Ours (Svoi) (2004),
Train arrival (Pribytie poezda) (1995) and A man by the window (Chelovek u okna) (2010).
DIRECTOR’S STATEMENT:
I am very grateful for the opportunity to direct this film. My goal was
challenging and unique – I had to cope with 12 main characters of the film, as well as with numerous
actors in the crowd scenes. Almost every episode involved more than 150 people. I’m really looking
forward to the very moment when the film will be ready to be presented to the viewers. I found this story
very interesting to work with, since we have so many films about the Great Patriotic War, but almost
nothing about the First World War. That is why we had to develop our own approach to this story.

"Underdogs" es su primer álbum, recién publicado en febrero. De modo que estamos delante de una banda que tiene menos historia que los cavernícolas, pero que, con el tiempo, puede escribir muchas páginas doradas si continúan gestando discos como este fulminante debut.
Destapan la caja de los truenos con "Thrash Maniac"; Speed-thrash ultra veloz, de diferentes cambios de tempo pero siempre izando la bandera del Thrash bien alta, con un estribillo reivindicativo y visos de convertirse en esencial para los suizos. Todo un auténtico monstruo hecho canción. No se puede permanecer inmóvil ante un tema así, muy en la onda de "Whiplash" de Metallica. La siguiente "Headbangers" destila la esencia de Thrash más purista, recordando a Anthrax y sobre todo a Slayer en sus líneas vocales. No es de los temas más rápidos del álbum, sino que se centra más en la solidez y monumentalidad de los riffs, por lo que también será un tema que haga las delicias de los fans de Evile.
Retoman la senda del Thrash de corte rápido con "Running Alone" y ralentizan con "Wings Of A Demon", donde sus riffs se tornan más machacones y pesados pero sin perder mordiente. Tema totalmente coreable de estribillo recurrente.
Uno de los temas donde más se alejan del Thrash es "T.F.F.M.". Aquí nos pegan un tiro de Speed Heavy Metal, en el que incluso Etzensperger utiliza otra tonalidad vocal. Sin embargo, "Bullets And Death" vuelve al Thrash puro y duro con alguna parte Heavy erigiéndose como uno de las piezas valedoras para la definición del sonido de Battalion. En este tema, las letras tienen un hueco para hacer un guiño a algunas bandas que les han influenciado.
La canción más larga y con más matices del disco es "Stalingrad". Con un juego de riffs simplemente sobresaliente es, asimismo, el tema que deja vislumbrar más influencias. Thrash y Heavy se funden con elegancia para darle otro aire a esta composición llena de cambios de ritmo. El influjo de Iron Maiden asoma en la parte más lenta del tema, donde hay una parte hablada en un idioma ignoto para mí, dándole ese toque épico al que la banda de Harris nos tiene acostumbrados.
Ahora colocan un interludio instrumental de corte lento sencillamente titulado "Interlude" antes de liberar una fiera llamada "Beggars Right", cañonazo de Speed Metal, que tiene alguna parte que recuerda bastante a Running Wild. "Dictators Of Stone" gana la partida gracias a su memorable y envolvente riff, nuevamente del agrado de fans como Slayer (del "Seasons In The Abyss") o los más contemporáneos Evile. "Defenders", otro buen tema, pone la guinda a lo que es este sensacional debut de los helvéticos.
Posiblemente no tengan su estilo muy definido, aunque opino que ni falta que les hace. Todos los palos que tocan los tocan bien. Puede que su vocalista no sea una maravilla pero tampoco lo hace mal. Y ahora viene lo mejor: la producción es realmente buena; los temas son excelentes, plagados de riffs agresivos, compactos y memorables; los solos están muy trabajados, exhalando un profundo calado Heavy. Todas estas piezas completan un puzzle llamado "Underdogs", un gran disco totalmente recomendable para amantes tanto del Thrash como del Heavy Metal.

Battalion Wars is a real-time strategy game where you maneuver modern armies (consisting of units based off of those in Advance Wars 1) while having direct control of one of the units. Here's the interesting notes about the tactics:
*Your unit is bolstered with human intelligence for managing combat maneuvers. It can provide a momentum swing in an area you want to take control of.
*Naturally, however, you must make sure your other units, which will be under AI control as far as tactical behavior goes, do not become exposed to unwelcome scenarios. Keep them safe using defilade, distance, and defensive power.
*The important thing is to issue commands fast and efficiently enough to maximize your attack potential against thick formations of enemies.
The story is standard fare more or less. All the twists really do is provide seriousness to the lighthearted rivalry between the Western Frontier and the Tundran Territories, two nations that are based off of America and Russia respectively. You take command of the forces of the former and lead them. Eventually you will have a strong enough battalion to stand a chance in the chaos that you must overcome when it rears its ugly head.
