Ralph Young (singer)
Ralph Young (July 1, 1918 – August 22, 2008) was an American singer and actor. He was best known as the partner of Tony Sandler in the singing duo of Sandler and Young.
Ralph Young, one half of the celebrated international singing duo "Sandler & Young," died August 22, 2008. He was 90. The New York-born and raised Young died of unspecified causes at his home in Palm Springs, CA after a brief illness. From the 1960s through the early 90s, the tuxedo-clad duo released 22 albums, headlined major hotel and casino showrooms in both the U.S. and abroad, and made countless guest appearances on top-rated television variety shows. Young is survived by his wife, Arlene; his children, Neil, Arleen, Ron (Lisa), Guy (Bobbi), Lauren, Rachel (Jose); and his eight granddaughters and grandson, Allison, Caitie, Darcy, Morgan, Riley, Jordan, Allie, Piper and Brody.
He died in Palm Springs, California and is buried at Desert Memorial Park in Cathedral City, California.
