He said a decision was passed earlier this year for the cancer services transferred.
He added that the Health Department is aware of issues surrounding the faulty cancer radiation treatment machine and that experts have identified the problem.

Scotland’s Health Secretary, Shona Robison, has today urged UK Health Secretary, Jeremy Hunt, to withdraw any possibility of imposing new contract arrangements on junior doctors in England.
Ms Robison said the UK Government should do everything it can to get back round the table with BMA England in the interests of staff and patients in the NHS.
The call comes as Ms Robison is due to meet with final year medical students today at the University of Dundee to discuss their future career choices as they progress through the training pathway.

A new television ad from the Donald Trump campaign shows clips of Hillary Clinton coughing and falling as she was leaving a 9/11 memorial ceremony, saying that the Democratic nominee lacks the "fortitude" and "stamina" to be president.
The thirty second advert titled "dangerous" begins with an announcer saying, "Our next president faces daunting challenges in a dangerous world." The narrator then lists foreign threats to the United States, like the Islamic State & North Korea.
The advertisement then pivots to Clinton, showing pictures and clips of her coughing, being helped up stairs, and of her falling as she tried to get in a van after falling ill at a 9/11 ceremony in New York.
"Hillary Clinton failed every single time as Secretary of State. Now she wants to be President," the commentator said as the clips played. "Hillary Clinton doesn't have the fortitude, strength or stamina to lead in our world."
The Trump campaign told USA Today that the ad will air throughout the U.S., with a focus on battleground states. The Trump campaign did not immediately respond to questions about where the ad is running or how much is being spent to air it.

Scotland’s Health Secretary, Shona Robison, has today urged UK Health Secretary, Jeremy Hunt, to withdraw any possibility of imposing new contract arrangements on junior doctors in England.
Ms Robison said the UK Government should do everything it can to get back round the table with BMA England in the interests of staff and patients in the NHS.
The call comes as Ms Robison is due to meet with final year medical students today at the University of Dundee to discuss their future career choices as they progress through the training pathway.

Kathleen Sebelius is one of America’s foremost experts on health policy, health care reform, human service delivery, and executive leadership. From April 2009 through June 2014, she served in President Barack Obama’s Cabinet as Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, leading the President’s charge to pass and implement the most significant health reform in half a century. She served as Governor of Kansas from 2003 to 2009, was Kansas’ elected insurance commissioner from 1995 to 2003, and served four terms in the Kansas Legislature.

Dr. Bigby holds a BA from Wellesley College and an MD from Harvard Medical School. In spring 2013 she is a Senior Leadership Fellow at the Harvard School of Public Health.
