Mongol Bintang STAND UP COMEDY Pernah Jadi Pemimpin Gereja Setan
Komentar saya: Pertama kali lihat di TV, wuih lucu, eh kayaknya orang ini pernah kulihat di VCD Kesaksian mantan pemimpin Gereja Setan yang Bertobat. Eh benaran ternyata. Asyik juga bisa menyaksikan STAND UP COMEDY beliau.
Detiknews-Jakarta - Dalam kisah sebelumnya, komedian Mongol mengungkapkan bahwa masa lalunya sangat kelam. Sebelum bertobat, ternyata ia pernah mengikuti sekte sesat, yaitu menjadi pemimpin gereja setan.
"Dulu aku ikut satu komunitas namanya Church of Satan di satu link yang namanya Lucifer Circle. Aku pimpinannya dan aku pimpinan untuk benua Asia," ujarnya serius saat berbincang dengan Detikhot.
Mongol merasa terlahir dari keluarga yang tak punya dasar agama yang kuat. Sehingga, hal itu membuatnya salah jalan dan mengikuti bahkan menjadi pemimpin sekte sesat gereja setan di Manado.
Ketika itu Mongol dipilih sebagai pemimpin gereja setan untuk benua Asia karena dinilai cerdas. Makanya ia pun mendapat tugas untuk menyesatkan dengan cara membelokkan konsep kekristenan.
"Kita punya konsep yang namanya logically concept, konsep otak. Kerjaan kita membahas isi Alkitab mana yang bisa kita ubah secara konseptual dan kita munculkan dalam bentuk buku atau traktat lalu kita taruh di gereja atau di toko buku Kristen agar orang baca dan berubah pandangan," paparnya.
Pria kelahiran Manado 27 September 1978 itu memang tak main-main dengan pengakuannya. "Dulu aku begitu ditakuti. Menunjuk orang kalau aku bilang mati, ya mati," ujarnya.
Namun, kini semua itu tinggal cerita. Mongol telah meninggalkan semua masa lalunya yang kelam itu. Ia pun mengaku tak menyangka, soalnya secara posisi, fasilitas dan segala kemewahan yang ditawarkan gereja setan kepadanya dirasanya tak mungkin bisa membuatnya bertobat.
Lantas bagaimana ia kemudian bisa "kembali ke jalan yang benar"? "Aku dijamah Tuhan dan bisa tersenyum sama tertawa. Dulu aku nggak bisa," jawabnya, kali ini jelas tidak sedang melawak. "Itu adalah mukjizat pertama yang aku bilang adalah sukacita. Secara fisik dan otak, nggak mungkin aku bertobat, tapi bagi Tuhan nggak ada yang nggak mungkin," sambungnya.
Mongol merasa hidup jadi lebih indah setelah bertobat. Di balik kesuksesannya saat ini, ia percaya pada mukjizat. "Itu sudah kasih karunia Tuhan yang berlaku buat aku ketika aku mengalami pertobatan. Bagian terindah dalam hidup. Sekalipun senyumku jelek, aku bersyukur bisa tersenyum," tandasnya. Hahaha.
Jakarta - Stand up comedy atau melawak dengan gaya monolog sedang digandrungi masyarakat. Di antara beberapa pelakunya, nama Mongol kini tengah naik daun lantaran dianggap lucu dalam setiap penampilannya.
Pria bernama asli Rony Imannuel itu berhasil mencuri perhatian sejak pertama tampil di acara 'Stand Up Comedy Show' yang tayang di Metro TV. Banyak orang tertawa terpingkal-pingkal saat ia membawa materi lawakan seputar dirinya maupun realitas sosial di masyarakat.
Mongol seringkali mengangkat tema seputar kaum homoseksual yang disebutnya dengan istilah KW. Masalah pencopet di Jakarta hingga jambul Syahrini pun tak luput jadi bahan leluconnya di atas panggung.
Belum lama ini, Detikhot pun berkesempatan mewawancarai Mongol di sebuah kafe di daerah Warung Buncit, Jakarta Selatan. "Maaf agak terlambat, tadi aku berteduh dulu menunggu hujan berhenti. Soalnya aku ke sini naik ojek," ujarnya mengawali perbincangan.
Pria yang biasanya melucu itu tampak ramah dan bersahabat. Ia tampil sederhana mengenakan kaos putih berkerah dipadu dengan celana jeans abu-abu. Selain itu, ia juga berkacamata dan ada anting berlian di telinga kirinya.
Perawakan Mongol unik. Matanya sipit dan kulitnya sawo matang. Sedangkan logat bicaranya terdengar seperti orang Batak. Namun ia mengaku asli kelahiran Manado, sedangkan ayahnya orang Mongolia. "Itu makanya aku dipanggil Mongol. Dari kecil memang sudah dipanggil begitu," katanya.
Adapun mengenai logat bicaranya yang seperti orang Batak, Mongol menjelaskan bahwa ia tinggal cukup lama bersama orang Batak saat pertama kali merantau ke Jakarta. Terlepas dari itu, selama ini memang tak ada yang percaya jika ia mengaku sebagai orang Manado.
"Dulu di Pasar Senen aku pernah ditanya, orang mana? Aku jawab, orang Manado. Eh dia nggak percaya dan bilang, orang Manado itu ganteng, kulit putih, dan hidung mancung. Lah, kau macam bodat (monyet dalam bahasa Batak) begitu," kisahnya.
"Kulitku hitam begini, makanya orang lebih percaya kalau aku orang Batak ketimbang Manado," sambungnya seraya tertawa.
Dikisahkan, profesinya sebagai seorang comic (pelaku Stand Up Comedy) terjadi secara tak sengaja. Pertengahan Juli lalu, ia dijebak seorang temannya untuk tampil melucu di Comedy Cafe, Kemang, Jakarta Selatan. "Waktu itu kagetlah aku. Sumpah demi Tuhan, kaget. Ternyata aku disuruh melucu di depan orang-orang," kenangnya.

Sudah jelas mereka yang gak setuju disini karena mereka berasal dari kegelapan Nama aslinya Rony Imannuel,setelah pertobatannya pada tahun 1997 Mongol memutuskan untuk merantau ke Jakarta. Detiknews-Jakarta - Dalam kisah sebelumnya, komedian Mongol mengungkapkan bahwa masa lalunya sangat kelam. Sebelum bertobat, ternyata ia pernah mengikuti sekte sesat, yaitu menjadi pemimpin gereja setan.
"Dulu aku ikut satu komunitas namanya Church of Satan di satu link yang namanya Lucifer Circle. Aku pimpinannya dan aku pimpinan untuk benua Asia," ujarnya serius saat berbincang dengan Detikhot.
Mongol merasa terlahir dari keluarga yang tak punya dasar agama yang kuat. Sehingga, hal itu membuatnya salah jalan dan mengikuti bahkan menjadi pemimpin sekte sesat gereja setan di Manado.
Ketika itu Mongol dipilih sebagai pemimpin gereja setan untuk benua Asia karena dinilai cerdas. Makanya ia pun mendapat tugas untuk menyesatkan dengan cara membelokkan konsep kekristenan.
"Kita punya konsep yang namanya logically concept, konsep otak. Kerjaan kita membahas isi Alkitab mana yang bisa kita ubah secara konseptual dan kita munculkan dalam bentuk buku atau traktat lalu kita taruh di gereja atau di toko buku Kristen agar orang baca dan berubah pandangan," paparnya.
Pria kelahiran Manado 27 September 1978 itu memang tak main-main dengan pengakuannya. "Dulu aku begitu ditakuti. Menunjuk orang kalau aku bilang mati, ya mati," ujarnya.
Namun, kini semua itu tinggal cerita. Mongol telah meninggalkan semua masa lalunya yang kelam itu. Ia pun mengaku tak menyangka, soalnya secara posisi, fasilitas dan segala kemewahan yang ditawarkan gereja setan kepadanya dirasanya tak mungkin bisa membuatnya bertobat.
Lantas bagaimana ia kemudian bisa "kembali ke jalan yang benar"? "Aku dijamah Tuhan dan bisa tersenyum sama tertawa. Dulu aku nggak bisa," jawabnya, kali ini jelas tidak sedang melawak. "Itu adalah mukjizat pertama yang aku bilang adalah sukacita. Secara fisik dan otak, nggak mungkin aku bertobat, tapi bagi Tuhan nggak ada yang nggak mungkin," sambungnya.
Mongol merasa hidup jadi lebih indah setelah bertobat. Di balik kesuksesannya saat ini, ia percaya pada mukjizat. "Itu sudah kasih karunia Tuhan yang berlaku buat aku ketika aku mengalami pertobatan. Bagian terindah dalam hidup. Sekalipun senyumku jelek, aku bersyukur bisa tersenyum," tandasnya. Hahaha.
Jakarta - Stand up comedy atau melawak dengan gaya monolog sedang digandrungi masyarakat. Di antara beberapa pelakunya, nama Mongol kini tengah naik daun lantaran dianggap lucu dalam setiap penampilannya.
Pria bernama asli Rony Imannuel itu berhasil mencuri perhatian sejak pertama tampil di acara 'Stand Up Comedy Show' yang tayang di Metro TV. Banyak orang tertawa terpingkal-pingkal saat ia membawa materi lawakan seputar dirinya maupun realitas sosial di masyarakat.
Mongol seringkali mengangkat tema seputar kaum homoseksual yang disebutnya dengan istilah KW. Masalah pencopet di Jakarta hingga jambul Syahrini pun tak luput jadi bahan leluconnya di atas panggung.
Belum lama ini, Detikhot pun berkesempatan mewawancarai Mongol di sebuah kafe di daerah Warung Buncit, Jakarta Selatan. "Maaf agak terlambat, tadi aku berteduh dulu menunggu hujan berhenti. Soalnya aku ke sini naik ojek," ujarnya mengawali perbincangan.
Pria yang biasanya melucu itu tampak ramah dan bersahabat. Ia tampil sederhana mengenakan kaos putih berkerah dipadu dengan celana jeans abu-abu. Selain itu, ia juga berkacamata dan ada anting berlian di telinga kirinya.
Perawakan Mongol unik. Matanya sipit dan kulitnya sawo matang. Sedangkan logat bicaranya terdengar seperti orang Batak. Namun ia mengaku asli kelahiran Manado, sedangkan ayahnya orang Mongolia. "Itu makanya aku dipanggil Mongol. Dari kecil memang sudah dipanggil begitu," katanya.
Adapun mengenai logat bicaranya yang seperti orang Batak, Mongol menjelaskan bahwa ia tinggal cukup lama bersama orang Batak saat pertama kali merantau ke Jakarta. Terlepas dari itu, selama ini memang tak ada yang percaya jika ia mengaku sebagai orang Manado.
"Dulu di Pasar Senen aku pernah ditanya, orang mana? Aku jawab, orang Manado. Eh dia nggak percaya dan bilang, orang Manado itu ganteng, kulit putih, dan hidung mancung. Lah, kau macam bodat (monyet dalam bahasa Batak) begitu," kisahnya.
"Kulitku hitam begini, makanya orang lebih percaya kalau aku orang Batak ketimbang Manado," sambungnya seraya tertawa.
Dikisahkan, profesinya sebagai seorang comic (pelaku Stand Up Comedy) terjadi secara tak sengaja. Pertengahan Juli lalu, ia dijebak seorang temannya untuk tampil melucu di Comedy Cafe, Kemang, Jakarta Selatan. "Waktu itu kagetlah aku. Sumpah demi Tuhan, kaget. Ternyata aku disuruh melucu di depan orang-orang," kenangnya.

Mongol seringkali mengangkat tema seputar kaum homoseksual yang disebutnya dengan istilah KW. Masalah pencopet di Jakarta hingga jambul Syahrini pun tak luput jadi bahan leluconnya di atas panggung.
Belum lama ini, Detikhot pun berkesempatan mewawancarai Mongol di sebuah kafe di daerah Warung Buncit, Jakarta Selatan. "Maaf agak terlambat, tadi aku berteduh dulu menunggu hujan berhenti. Soalnya aku ke sini naik ojek," ujarnya mengawali perbincangan.
Pria yang biasanya melucu itu tampak ramah dan bersahabat. Ia tampil sederhana mengenakan kaos putih berkerah dipadu dengan celana jeans abu-abu. Selain itu, ia juga berkacamata dan ada anting berlian di telinga kirinya.
Perawakan Mongol unik. Matanya sipit dan kulitnya sawo matang. Sedangkan logat bicaranya terdengar seperti orang Batak. Namun ia mengaku asli kelahiran Manado, sedangkan ayahnya orang Mongolia. "Itu makanya aku dipanggil Mongol. Dari kecil memang sudah dipanggil begitu," katanya.
Adapun mengenai logat bicaranya yang seperti orang Batak, Mongol menjelaskan bahwa ia tinggal cukup lama bersama orang Batak saat pertama kali merantau ke Jakarta. Terlepas dari itu, selama ini memang tak ada yang percaya jika ia mengaku sebagai orang Manado.
"Dulu di Pasar Senen aku pernah ditanya, orang mana? Aku jawab, orang Manado. Eh dia nggak percaya dan bilang, orang Manado itu ganteng, kulit putih, dan hidung mancung. Lah, kau macam bodat (monyet dalam bahasa Batak) begitu," kisahnya.
"Kulitku hitam begini, makanya orang lebih percaya kalau aku orang Batak ketimbang Manado," sambungnya seraya tertawa.
Dikisahkan, profesinya sebagai seorang comic (pelaku Stand Up Comedy) terjadi secara tak sengaja. Pertengahan Juli lalu, ia dijebak seorang temannya untuk tampil melucu di Comedy Cafe, Kemang, Jakarta Selatan. "Waktu itu kagetlah aku. Sumpah demi Tuhan, kaget. Ternyata aku disuruh melucu di depan orang-orang," kenangnya.

Stand Up Comedy Show adalah acara pelawak tunggal (komika) yang ditayangkan oleh Metro TV, sedangkan Stand Up Comedy Indonesia (SUCI) di Kompas TV. Kedua stasiun televisi tersebut membuat acara dengan tema yang sama tetapi format kompetisi dan nama acaranya berbeda.
Stand Up Comedy Show & Battle of Comic (Metro TV)
Acara ini dimulai pada 22 September 2011 dan tayang setiap hari Selasa hingga Kamis pukul 22.30 WIB. Format kompetisi Stand Up Comedy Show ini adalah dimana para komika yang diundang pada hari itu dipanggil keatas panggung lalu bermonolog mengenai sesuatu topik dengan candaan berdasarkan ciri khas masing-masing para komika dan setelah semua komika telah selesai, penilaian akan dilakukan berdasarkan tepukan tangan dari penonton, sedangkan Battle of Comic memiliki format dimana para komika diberikan tema yang disediakan pada hari itu dan masing-masing komika harus mengolah tema tersebut menjadi suatu lawakan dengan waktu yang ditetapkan.
Stand Up Comedy Indonesia (Kompas TV)
Acara ini dimulai pada tahun 2011 dan tayang setiap hari Kamis pukul 22.00 WIB, sedangkan tayangan ulangnya yaitu setiap hari Minggu pukul 15.00 WIB. Acara ini juga sudah memasuki musim yang ke-4. Format kompetisi ini adalah 13 orang komika (kecuali pada musim ke-3 yang berjumlah 18 orang komika) yang telah terpilih melalui audisi di Bandung, Jakarta, Jogja, Surabaya, dan Medan (pada musim ke-4 terbuka audisi di Padang dan Denpasar) tersebut akan berjuang dalam babak Stand Up Show dengan tema dan tantangan yang berbeda dalam setiap minggunya, waktu yang diberikan untuk melawak adalah 5 menit dan saat mencapai 5 besar, terdapat babak Call Back, dimana para peserta yang telah close-mic dipertandingkan kembali untuk memperoleh 1 tempat menjadi 6 besar. Proses penilaiannya dilakukan oleh ketiga juri dan yang mendapat akumulasi nilai terendah akan di close-mic (eliminasi). Pada musim ke-4, minggu ke-7 terdapat babak yang bernama UTS (Ujian Team Stand Up), kontestan 8 besar dibagi menjadi 2 kelompok dan masing-masing kelompok akan bertanding disekolah yang telah ditentukan, sistem penilaiannya dilakukan oleh para siswa-siswi sekolah tersebut dengan mem-voting, bagi kelompok yang kalah harus mengikuti UAS (Ujian Akhir Stand Up) dengan format yang sama seperti babak UTS sebelumnya. Dan pada akhir musim ke-4, SUCI mengadakan acara bernama Play Ground, dimana acara ini bertajuk reuni antar peserta SUCI.

Nama aslinya Rony Imannuel,setelah pertobatannya pada tahun 1997 Mongol memutuskan untuk merantau ke Jakarta. Sebab, ketika itu, tekadnya hanya satu: menjadi pendeta. Kebetulan, ada kenalan yang berjanji mau membiayai jebolan Sekolah Pertumbuhan Orang Percaya (SPOP) di Gereja Injil Seutuh Indonesia (GISI), Manado, tersebut masuk sekolah pendeta.
Tapi, sang kenalan ternyata ingkar janji. Mongol ditelantarkan dan dititipkan kepada orang yang tak dia kenal di Tanjung Priok. "Karena malu untuk pulang, saya pun bertekad bertahan di Jakarta. Meski, boleh dibilang, ketika itu saya hanya berbekal niat dan uang recehan di kantong," kenangnya.
Namun, tekadnya untuk menjadi pelayan Tuhan tak luntur. Dia pun akhirnya berkesempatan mendapat pendidikan rohani di Sekolah Orientasi Melayani (SOM) milik Gereja Bethel Indonesia (GBI) di daerah Sunter, Jakarta Timur.
Masuk pada 1998, Mongol menamatkan SOM pada 1999. Sejak saat itulah dia mulai bertugas sebagai penginjil dan memberikan pelayanan di GBI. Karena tidak ingin terus-menerus merepotkan pihak gereja, pada 2002, sembari tetap memberikan pelayanan, dia melamar sebagai pegawai honorer di sebuah instansi pemerintah yang tidak mau dia sebutkan dan bertahan sampai sekarang.
Sekarang, seiring dengan kepopulerannya sebagai comic, otomatis intensitasnya ke gereja untuk memberikan pelayanan berkurang. Kalau sebelumnya sebulan minimal lima kali, dia hanya bisa melakukannya sekali dalam dua bulan terakhir. Meski, untuk urusan ibadah pada Minggu, Mongol mengaku tetap rajin melakukannya.Pria kelahiran Manado, 7 Mei 1978, itu mengakui bahwa dirinya adalah comic dengan bayaran termahal di Indonesia saat ini. Per 8 menit tampil, dia dibayar Rp 5 juta.

Kebetulan, ada kenalan yang berjanji mau membiayai jebolan Sekolah Pertumbuhan Orang Percaya (SPOP) di Gereja Injil Seutuh Indonesia (GISI), Manado, tersebut masuk sekolah pendeta.
Tapi, sang kenalan ternyata ingkar janji. Mongol ditelantarkan dan dititipkan kepada orang yang tak dia kenal di Tanjung Priok. "Karena malu untuk pulang, saya pun bertekad bertahan di Jakarta. Meski, boleh dibilang, ketika itu saya hanya berbekal niat dan uang recehan di kantong," kenangnya.
Namun, tekadnya untuk menjadi pelayan Tuhan tak luntur. Dia pun akhirnya berkesempatan mendapat pendidikan rohani di Sekolah Orientasi Melayani (SOM) milik Gereja Bethel Indonesia (GBI) di daerah Sunter, Jakarta Timur.
Masuk pada 1998, Mongol menamatkan SOM pada 1999. Sejak saat itulah dia mulai bertugas sebagai penginjil dan memberikan pelayanan di GBI. Karena tidak ingin terus-menerus merepotkan pihak gereja, pada 2002, sembari tetap memberikan pelayanan, dia melamar sebagai pegawai honorer di sebuah instansi pemerintah yang tidak mau dia sebutkan dan bertahan sampai sekarang.
Sekarang, seiring dengan kepopulerannya sebagai comic, otomatis intensitasnya ke gereja untuk memberikan pelayanan berkurang. Kalau sebelumnya sebulan minimal lima kali, dia hanya bisa melakukannya sekali dalam dua bulan terakhir. Meski, untuk urusan ibadah pada Minggu, Mongol mengaku tetap rajin melakukannya.Pria kelahiran Manado, 7 Mei 1978, itu mengakui bahwa dirinya adalah comic dengan bayaran termahal di Indonesia saat ini. Per 8 menit tampil, dia dibayar Rp 5 juta.
