Alonna Gunn

Alonna Gunn (played by Michele Kelly) was the sister of Charles Gunn, and the most important person in his life. The siblings took care of each other while growing up in the "Badlands" (a fictional neighborhood in Los Angeles). Alonna was turned into a vampire in her first appearance ("War Zone"). Gunn eventually found Alonna as a vampire and confronted her, but was ultimately forced to stake her with Angel looking on. Alonna continued to appear in future episodes in Gunn's memory, flashbacks, and dreams. She was also mentioned in many episodes including "That Old Gang of Mine". It was the death of Alonna that made Gunn receptive to Angel's help and also caused him to drift away from his old crew, as he was tired of seeing his friends "picked off one by one".

Penn (automobile)

Penn was the name of three American automobiles of the pioneer era:

The Penn Auto Company of Philadelphia was the first company with the purpose of manufacturing automobiles enregistered in Pennsylvania. It was founded with a capital stock of $5,000. The make is mentioned in the summer 1901 issue of the "Horseless Age," and while some writers have questioned its actual production, a 1913 photo from the Philadelphia city archives shows a factory by this name.

Dr. Shakespeare Penn was a poet and preacher. In 1908, he built a minuscule automobile with a canopy for his own use in Washington, D.C.. There is no information about the power source of this car.

The most important automobile wearing the Penn name was built by the Penn Motor Car Company, located at 7510 Thomas Boulevard in Pittsburgh. It was established in November, 1910, with a capital stock of $150,000, and immediately started production.

For 1911, one model was available, the Thirty. This was a 4 cylinder, 30 hp car with a wheelbase of 105 in. Customers could choose from two body styles, the Model R 2-passenger Roadster, and the Model T 5-passenger Touring. At $975, or $1075 respectively, they were remarkably competitive.

Sex (film)

Sex is a 1920 American silent drama film directed by Fred Niblo, written by C. Gardner Sullivan, produced by J. Parker Read, and starring Louise Glaum. On its surface, the film was a morality story on the evils of marital infidelity. However, the film's producer, J. Parker Read, had made a series of pictures on sex themes. The release of Sex, with its provocative title and explicit scenes of seduction and debauchery, made it the subject of controversy among censors and commentators.

The film's plot centers on Adrienne Renault (played by Louise Glaum), the beautiful queen of the Midnight Follies at the Frivolity Theater.

The film opens with Renault's current conquest, a married millionaire, Philip Overman (played by William Conklin). Overman is in his private box watching Renault perform her seductive "Spider Dance." Renault comes on stage dressed as a spider, "clad in a translucent cloak of webs wrapped cloak-like around a body-hugging black sheath."

Sex (I'm A...)

"Sex (I'm A...)" is a song by the American band Berlin from their second album Pleasure Victim. The song was co-written by group members John Crawford, Terri Nunn and David Diamond and sung as a duet by Crawford and Nunn.

Released as the album's second single in February 1983, the single became a cult hit on American radio and brought the group into the mainstream. Despite the significant attention, the song's racy lyrics resulted in it being banned from several radio stations. Perhaps because of this, the single ultimately peaked at No. 62 on the Billboard Hot 100 for two weeks in late March and early April 1983.The song was also the first single release from the band's new label, Geffen Records.

Cover versions

Canadian electroclash musician Peaches covered the song as a bonus track for her albums The Teaches of Peaches and Fatherfucker.

Canadian industrial musician Renee Cooper (aka Zombie Girl) covered the song for the bonus disc to her 2007 Blood, Brains and Rock 'N' Roll album.

Sexual intercourse

Sexual intercourse, or coitus or copulation, is principally the insertion and thrusting of the penis, usually when erect, into the vagina for sexual pleasure, reproduction, or both. This is also known as vaginal intercourse or vaginal sex.
