Heyo~! Here's another Fortune Street video! I don't remember what happens in this one really, so be sure to tell me after you watch it! I have the rules written down below, and a link to a description about this map via Yuki, too. In this board it is 20,000 Gil. Net worth is the total value of your stocks, ready money, and properties. One thing to note is that you do NOT lose net worth for investing/purchasing property (at face value)/buying stocks. The amount you put into them is a part of your net worth, too. The game also ends if a player loses all their net worth and the player with the most at that point wins. There are four suits: Spade, Heart, Diamond, and Clover. Like playing cards. You want to aim for those spaces along your travels, 'cause if you pass over them all and return to the bank, you get a "salary" and your level goes up. The higher your level, the higher your salary (among other slight bonuses). This will influence your direction choices by a large margin. Next up are property spaces: Buy them, and if a player lands on it, they owe you the price of the shop (separate from the value which is what you paid to buy it/invest in it). If you invest in a property, the prices on the property go up as well. You have a limit to how much you may invest - the capital in any given property. You may increase this limit by owning properties of the same color. This also instantly increases the price of the shops of similar colors. One thing to keep in mind is that people can forcibly buy out ANY property space they land on from another player (after paying the price) if they can cough up 5 times its value. This is a very dangerous thing to invoke, though. (Super expensive!) At the center of "Standard Rules" are the stocks that may only be purchased at the bank or special spaces. Essentially: You buy stocks in properties of any given color, and if the properties of that color are invested in the stock prices go up. The increase in value multiplied by the number of your stocks are your earnings (Stock value increase of 6 multiplied by 100 owned stocks = 600 Gil in earnings.) You can make a KILLING this way, and not only on your own properties! You may invest in other people's properties that are promising developments and make moolah off'a their hard work! (Just don't LAND on those properties and all's good!). Rule of thumb in standard mode is to buy stocks first, and invest in that property later. (Sometimes it's better to set up a dangerous property alley early on, though.) That's it! There are special spaces, but I'll leave you to find out in the video!
