This exquisite, Victoria Fuller hand-painted, super lightweight Dean ML guitar weighs just 6.00 lbs. Sixteen and half inch wide, one and a half inch deep Flying V style, mahogany body with elongated treble horn. Mahogany neck with a wide nut width of just over 1 11/16 inches, a scale length of 24 3/4 inches and a wonderful medium profile. Rosewood fretboard with 22 original medium frets and abalone dot position markers. White 'V' shaped headstock with "Dean" logo silkscreened in black and "Red Lipsmack" applied by Victoria Fuller. Three-layer, bell-shaped, black over white plastic truss-rod cover with single screw. Individual Grover Roto-Matic tuners with half-moon metal buttons. One Dean "Dime" Zebra humbucker and one Dean "Time Capsule" Zebra humbucker with outputs of 13.27k and 13.20k. Three controls (two volume, one tone) plus three-way selector switch. Gold plastic barrel-shape "Speed" control knobs. Nashville style Tune-O-Matic with metal saddles and modernistic "V" shaped through-body stringing. Together with a photograph of Victoria Fuller embracing the guitar, signed in silver marker on the back "Stars & Stripes / Event @ Playboy Mansion / May 16 2009 / Model: ? / Custom Dean Guitar/ Pained by / Victoria Fuller / Miss Jan 96". Randall William Rhoads (December 6, 1956 – March 19, 1982) was an American heavy metal guitarist who played with Ozzy Osbourne and Quiet Riot. A devoted student of classical guitar, Rhoads combined his classical music influences with his own heavy metal style. Despite his short career, Rhoads is a major influence on neo-classical metal, and is cited as an influence by many guitarists and is included in several "Greatest Guitarist" lists.
At age 14, Rhoads formed a cover band called Violet Fox (after his mother's middle name, Violet), with his older brother Kelle on drums. Violet Fox staged several performances in the "Grand Salon" at Musonia, Delores Rhoads' music school. Among their setlist was "Mississippi Queen" by Mountain, and songs from The Rolling Stones, Alice Cooper and David Bowie. After the dissolution of Violet Fox, Rhoads taught his best friend Kelly Garni how to play bass, and together they formed a band called The Whore (rehearsing during the day at Rodney Bingenheimer's English Disco, a 1970s Hollywood nightspot), spending several months playing at backyard parties around Los Angeles.

Sixteen and half inch wide, one and a half inch deep Flying V style, mahogany body with elongated treble horn. Mahogany neck with a wide nut width of just over 1 11/16 inches, a scale length of 24 3/4 inches and a wonderful medium profile. Rosewood fretboard with 22 original medium frets and abalone dot position markers. White 'V' shaped headstock with "Dean" logo silkscreened in black and "Red Lipsmack" applied by Victoria Fuller. Three-layer, bell-shaped, black over white plastic truss-rod cover with single screw. Individual Grover Roto-Matic tuners with half-moon metal buttons. One Dean "Dime" Zebra humbucker and one Dean "Time Capsule" Zebra humbucker with outputs of 13.27k and 13.20k. Three controls (two volume, one tone) plus three-way selector switch. Gold plastic barrel-shape "Speed" control knobs. Nashville style Tune-O-Matic with metal saddles and modernistic "V" shaped through-body stringing. An electric guitar lesson on how to play the guitar solo from "Crazy Train" by Ozzy Osbourne Randy Rhoads. This is arguably Randy Rhoads most popular solo. It has a bit of everything and is for advanced players. There's some really nice wide vibrato, some cool minor licks, some great legato style playing, the tapping arpeggio at the start and that wicked fast lick at the end! It will definitely take some work to get this one sounding right.
One of the tricks that Randy used was to triple track his solos and that's what I did in the demo. Later in the video I spend some time going over the benefits of double and triple tracking.
I had a blast making this video! Once you get it down it's a really challenging and fun solo to play.
I also included that really awesome fill from the 1st verse. This is such a great legato type lick and once you learn it you can use the basics of it to come up with your own licks, it's definitely worth learning.

I get a lot of questions about my sound so here's what I'm using:
My amp is an Egnater Renegade head through a Marshall 1960b cabinet. I use a TC Electronics Nova System through the loop for effects. I also use a BB preamp on some lead tones and sometimes (rarely) a Boss CS-3 compressor.The reverb is from the amp. My wah is a Dunlop MC404 CAE Dual Inductor, REALLY great pedal! I also use a Polytune tuner which is fantastic.
For the rhythm and 1st verse fill part I had my Egnater at full gain and with my BB preamp for a little extra juice.
In the solo section I used a Suhr Riot pedal on my gain channel with the gain set to barely one, just enough to make
a sound. The amp volume was really low, you could talk over it!
The riot is an extreme pedal but it made a pretty decent sound for this solo.
My guitar is a 1975 Gibson Les Paul Deluxe. I have Suhr Aldrich pickups on it. I have them coil split, but for this video they were in full humbucker mode.

ZAPRASZAM POWAŻNYCH MANIAKÓW NA MOJĄ MGŁĘ.
FOG obejmuje tematy: gitara elektryczna, efekty gitarowe, struny do gitary, kostki, wzmacniacze gitarowe, testy sprzętu, historia gitary elektrycznej, magazyny gitarowe, regulacja instruemntu gitara elektryczna, przetworniki, kable, zasilacze, multiefekty... wszystko co związane z gitarą elektryczną.
Jest to moje osobiste spojrzenie na tematykę gitary elektrycznej.
Wyrażam swoje opinię i nie musisz się z nimi zgadzać :)
