Re-Animated is a live-action/animated television film that aired on Cartoon Network on December 8, 2006. It was the first original live action/animated production produced by the network.
Re-Animated was released on DVD September 11, 2007. The film was the pilot for the follow-up series Out of Jimmy's Head, which premiered on Cartoon Network on September 14, 2007.
Jimmy Roberts (Dominic Janes) is a 12-year-old boy who can't seem to say "no" to anybody, and as a result, ends up getting taken advantage of on a regular basis, even by his best friend Craig (Micah Karns). This problem continues during his class trip to Gollyworld, where he misses out on many of the rides because Craig tells the popular kids that Jimmy will hold their items for them. The popular kids then, on Craig's suggestion, tell Jimmy to go try to find Milt Appleday's frozen brain, which supposedly is hidden somewhere in Tux's Arctic Adventure. As usual, Jimmy unwillingly gives in, and once there, bumps into Milt's middle-age clumsy son Sonny (Matt Knudsen), who is attempting to retrieve the brain from underneath the ice. After being spotted by Sonny, Jimmy quickly flees and during his escape, accidentally runs onto the path of an oncoming train and is sent to the hospital, where Milt's brain (which one of the doctors keeps in his lunch cooler) is transplanted into his head. He makes it out of the operation just fine with his personality intact (explained by the doctors salvaging his "personality gland") but, he can now see all of Appleday's characters in real life, while no one else can.
Out of Jimmy's Head (also abbreviated as OOJH) is a live-action/animated television series. It was advertised as Cartoon Network's first live-action television series. It is based on the live-action/animated telefilm Re-Animated that aired on December 8, 2006. The show is a co-production by Brookwell McNamara Entertainment (known for shows such as Even Stevens and That's So Raven) and Cartoon Network Studios.
The series premiered on Cartoon Network on September 14, 2007, to coincide with the release of the Re-Animated movie on DVD. The show was the only show on the network to be affected by the 2007 Writers Guild of America strike. The series made its Canadian premiere on Teletoon on Saturday September 6, 2008. It also aired on Boomerang in Australia. The US run of the show ended with the airing of the show's final episode on May 29, 2008.
The series follows the back-story established by the film. After receiving a brain transplant from a celebrated cartoonist following an accident, a young boy named Jimmy finds himself inexplicably capable of seeing and communicating with the famed animated characters created by the cartoonist, resulting in a variety of odd predicaments or situations at the hands of Jimmy's interactions with these hallucinations. However, he also must handle the deceased cartoonist's conspiring and scheming son, Sonny Appleday, with intentions of murdering Jimmy and obtaining his father's brain so he may gain notoriety as a cartoonist, and take over the world.
Re-Animated is a remix album and 2nd EP from horror punk musician Wednesday 13. It was released digitally on May 10, 2011. The album consists of remixes of earlier tracks which are all found on his 2008 Skeletons album. The cover art is also the same cover art used for that album but with a green tint added to Wednesday's face. Koichi Fukuda, former lead guitarist of Static-X contributed remixes on 2 of the album's tracks. All tracks from the Digital EP were re-released on the 2014 box set Dead Meat: 10 Years of Blood, Feathers & Lipstick with 5 extra remixes under the Disc title: "Re-Animated Resurrected".
The album was released as a project to help donate money to the people of Japan who along with Wednesday during his 2011 reunion tour with the Murderdolls in Japan experienced first-hand the magnitude-8.9 earthquake that rocked the country. It was the fifth most powerful earthquake recorded since 1900.
For the first month of release a portion of all sales were donated to the American Red Cross who were supporting and advising the Japan Red Cross who were assisting the government in its response at the time.

Today I'm going to be discussing one of the most forgotten but also the worst show Cartoon Network ever released to their audience, Out of Jimmy's Head. Definitely not Cartoon Network's strongest effort, but honestly at the time it aired, I didn't think it was as terrible as people say it is. I could at least sit through an entire episode. The reason I post this is because there is almost nothing on YouTube of this show (recently someone posted another promo for the show). While the show was panned, and cancelled after 20 episodes, this show is still a memory to me, even if Cartoon Network wants to erase it from its History. The show is based on the terrible Cartoon Network TV-movie "ReAnimated". I would consider NEVER watching it EVER!
