The noise rattled within the jungle. The green leaves bounced in time with the beat as nature sprung to life in the morning sunshine. The damp rose between the trees turning to steam in the heat of the morning glow as wildlife scattered between the beanstalks. The sky was a dreamy shade of pink but it would soon be blue, much like the waters which surrounded the tropical island. This was paradise and a place called home.

Superpitcher
Aksel Schaufler better known by his stage name Superpitcher, is a German producer affiliated with Cologne's Kompakt music label.
Background
Superpitcher made his first appearance on Kompakt's Total 2 compilation album in 2000 with the song "Shadows". In 2001, he contributed a track to Kompakt's first Speicher 12" and released Heroin, a three-track 12" with three different sounds; "Tomorrow" was later included on that year's Total 3. On 2002's Total 4 there was another track by Schaufler, an electropop cover of Brian Eno's "Baby's on Fire". Soon after that, Schaufler released his second 12", Yesterday, which featured re-workings of the songs "Tomorrow" and "Heroin". He also made another appearance that year on Kompakt's fourth Speicher 12".
Since stepping out, Schaufler has done steady remixing work for the likes of Dntel, Carsten Jost and several others. In early 2004, Superpitcher released Here Comes Love. A year later, he released a mix album for Kompakt called Today.
Superpitcher and Michael Mayer have collaborated under the pseudonym Supermayer. Their debut album, Save The World, was released on September the 17th 2007 in Europe and September the 25th in the USA. The duo performed under the pseudonym at the 2008 Festival Internacional de Benicàssim and at Copenhagen Distortion in 2009 and 2011.

The noise rattled within the jungle. The green leaves bounced in time with the beat as nature sprung to life in the morning sunshine. The damp rose between the trees turning to steam in the heat of the morning glow as wildlife scattered between the beanstalks. The sky was a dreamy shade of pink but it would soon be blue, much like the waters which surrounded the tropical island. This was paradise and a place called home.

Es war im Dezember 1993, als wir uns mit 60 Freunden, ein paar DJs und einer kleinen Anlage im Gepäck auf den Weg nach Österreich machten. Ein lustiges Wochenende im Schnee sollte es werden: Ein bisschen Boarden, ein bisschen Party! Keiner ahnte damals, dass wir uns jetzt 16 Jahre Später, nach wie vor mit unseren Freunden, ein paar DJs und einer Anlage in den Bergen treffen würden.
Allerdings, sind es inzwischen ein paar tausend Freunde mehr geworden und über 50 DJs performen auf 9 Floors! Was aber in den 16 Jahren gleich geblieben ist: Die unschlagbare Kombination aus Bergen, Boarden, Schnee und Party, die einmaligen Atmosphäre und natürlich der Name: RaveOnSnow!

Rave on Snow 2009 Paul Kalkbrenner live auf dem Schattberg in 2018m Teil1/3 Es war im Dezember 1993, als wir uns mit 60 Freunden, ein paar DJs und einer kleinen Anlage im Gepäck auf den Weg nach Österreich machten. Ein lustiges Wochenende im Schnee sollte es werden: Ein bisschen Boarden, ein bisschen Party! The Congosound's Live Prototype
The Congosound is the name of the electronic band which the artist Carles Congost shares with the musician Vicent Fibla and Jessie Park, a peculiar muse to the Barcelona club scene who was closely involved in the artist’s early video works. The Congosound were active in Barcelona’s electronic renaissance after the 1992 Olympics. At a time when a great many labels and festivals were flourishing in the wake of the SONAR phenomenon, The Congosound were mixing bands like Fangoria, Astrud or Manta Ray and contributing songs to a number of select electronic compilations. 22h NEONBIRDS (Electro New Wave) NEONBIRDS n’a pas sorti d’album, n’est pas signé, mais tourne des clips, joue et met des claques à tout le monde, à grands coups de cold-wave mancunienne et de techno minimale issue d’une Allemagne réunifiée. Nourris à Joy Division, Depeche Mode, Superpitcher et Primal Scream, le duo parisien ressuscite le son des années 80 : Des échos cold-wave lointains s’accrochent à des mélodies pop synthétiques – parfois nerveuses – syncopés par des rythmiques distendues. Les titres enregistrés ont un côté volontairement froid et relativement minimaliste, en retenue. Pour le live, l’interprétation devient plus « rock », y compris dans le travail avec les machines et le chant.

The Congosound is the name of the electronic band which the artist Carles Congost shares with the musician Vicent Fibla and Jessie Park, a peculiar muse to the Barcelona club scene who was closely involved in the artist’s early video works. The Congosound were active in Barcelona’s electronic renaissance after the 1992 Olympics. At a time when a great many labels and festivals were flourishing in the wake of the SONAR phenomenon, The Congosound were mixing bands like Fangoria, Astrud or Manta Ray and contributing songs to a number of select electronic compilations. After publishing a 12” ‘Jessie's Theme’ (Cosmos Record,1998) and CD album ‘Jackson’ (Cosmos Records, 2002), the group was invited to play at SONAR ’02, where they displayed their very personal vision of live performance based on powerful visual stimulation and pre-recorded sound. In 2007 came out the compilation "Say She's Your Number One/ Jessie's Best" (2007), taking part of the Carles Congost’s monographic book called "Say I'm Your Number One", which included some of their old themes, unreleased versions, a new track and two remixes by Luomo and Superpitcher. In that time, The Congosound turned into a robot, a technological stage, which, since then, allows the band keep on performing live music without moving from their studio. "The Congosound's Live Prototype" was introduced to the audience, for the first time, on May 2007 at MUSAC (Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Castilla y León). A thresome of replicants manipulated the machine in public, under some specific instructions, in order to generate the illusion of a The Congosound's Live Concert. The Congosound is presented at MUSAC as an industrial and dehumanized prototype, churning out simultaneous concerts based on a trademark and free from the constraints of any of the member’s agendas. ‘The Congosound’s Live Prototype’ was developed by the artist in collaboration with industrial designer Yaya Tur, who also executed the work.
On February 2008, the "Superpitcher vs. The Congosound/ Say I’m Your Number One" 12" was released on the German label Kompakt. On March 2009 a hungarian replica of The Congosound will perform live at Mücsarnok Kunsthalle in Budapest.

The Congosound is presented at MUSAC as an industrial and dehumanized prototype, churning out simultaneous concerts based on a trademark and free from the constraints of any of the member’s agendas. ‘The Congosound’s Live Prototype’ was developed by the artist in collaboration with industrial designer Yaya Tur, who also executed the work.
On February 2008, the "Superpitcher vs. The Congosound/ Say I’m Your Number One" 12" was released on the German label Kompakt. On March 2009 a hungarian replica of The Congosound will perform live at Mücsarnok Kunsthalle in Budapest.

Formé par Superpitcher et Rebolledo, ce duo a su s'affirmer en seulement peu de temps par leur productions très aériennes, entre nappes bucoliques aux influences folks et rythmiques percussives exotiques.
Après quelques apparitions sur les compilations Kompakt et une trilogie sortie sur leur label Hippie Dance incluant le hit "Time", les Pachanga Boys viennent de sortir fin 2012 leur premier album "We are very sorry", ode electro-pop haute en couleur teintée de rythmes exotiques et non dépourvue d'humour.
« Il était une fois deux jeunes hommes qui pensaient qu'ils avaient quelque chose de simple et beau à dire. Ils voulaient parler d'amour, de joie et de sensibilité.
