Måns Petter Albert Sahlén Zelmerlöw (born Zelmerlöw 13 June 1986) is a Swedish pop singer. He is probably best known for his 2007 song "Cara Mia," which was his entry in that year's Melodifestivalen. Since 2011 he hosts Allsång på Skansen.
In 2005 Zelmerlöw took part in the Swedish version of Idol coming in 5th overall when he was eliminated on 11 November after 8 weeks on the show. He was placed in the bottom 3 twice and the bottom 2 once due to which he was eliminated.
In 2006 he took part in Let's Dance, where with dance partner Maria Karlsson, he triumphed and took 1st place. As well as appearing as Danny Zuko in the Swedish version of the musical Grease, Zelmerlöw signed a record deal with M&L Records, a division of Warner Music Sweden to release an album. In November 2006 in was announced that Zelmerlöw would compete in Melodifestivalen 2007, Sweden's competition to determine their Eurovision entry for the corresponding year. He competed with the song "Cara Mia" in the 3rd semi-final on 17 February 2007 in Örnsköldsvik where he progressed to the final in Stockholm. In the 10 March final at Globen, "Cara Mia" finished in third place behind winners The Ark and runner-up Andreas Johnson. "Cara Mia" was released as a single and Zelmerlöw's debut album Stand by For... followed shortly after. The album performed very well, reaching number one in Sweden and being certified platinum by IFPI. The album produced four singles, all reaching the top 50 in Sweden. Stand by For... has also been released in Poland in September 2007. In 2007 he also starred in the musical version of Footloose.
