Livadeia (Greek: Λιβαδειά – Livadeia or Λεβάδεια – Levadeia as well as Λειβαδιά – Leivadia, Modern Greek: [livaˈðʝa]) is a city in central Greece. It is the capital of the prefecture Boeotia. Livadeia is located 130 km NW of Athens, E of Nafpaktos, ESE of Amfissa and Desfina, SE of Lamia and west of Chalkida. Livadeia is linked with GR-48 and several kilometres west of GR-3. The area around Livadeia are mountainous while farmlands are mainly in valley areas. Levadia's industry are urban and rural in the outskirts. It is also home to Levadiakos FC who are in the Super League Greece.

The municipality Livadeia was formed at the 2011 local government reform by the merger of the following 5 former municipalities, that became municipal units (constituent communities in brackets):

The community Livadeia consists of the following outlying settlements (besides the town itself): Agios Nikolaos Livadeias (pop: 25), Analypsis Livadeias (pop: 184), Elikon (pop: 43), Perachora (pop: 279), Stathmos (pop: 3), Tzimeika (pop: 25) and Tsoukoulades (pop: 149).

Lakshman Singh (born 26 August 1911) served as the National Commissioner of the Bharat Scouts and Guides from April 1983 to November 1992.

Lakshman Singh (7 March 1908-6 June 1989) was the last ruling Maharawal (Maharaja) of the princely state of Dungarpur from 1918 to 1989, a former MP in the Rajya Sabha and speaker of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly from July 1977 to June 1979. He was brother to Nagendra Singh, the President of the International Court of Justice.

Maharawal Sir Lakshman Singh was born on 7 March 1908 at Udai Villas, Dungarpur, the eldest son and heir apparent of Maharawal Sir Bijaya Singh of the princely state of Dungarpur. He succeeded to the throne in 1918 at the age of 10 following the death of his father, ruling under the regency of the Dungarpur political agent until he came of age in 1928.

From 1931 to 1947, Lakshman Singh was a member of the standing committee of the Chamber of Princes, and was knighted with the KCSI in 1935. In 1947, he was appointed a GCIE. Following Independence, he established an interim legislature for Dungarpur, then with his fellow rulers formed the United State of Rajasthan on 25 March 1948. Tbe following year, this became the Greater Rajasthan Union to which Dungarpur acceeded on 30 March. From 1952 to 1958, Sir Lakshman served as an MP for Aspur in the Rajya Sabha, then became President of the Swatantra Party in Rajasthan from 1961 to 1969. From 1962 until his death, he also served as President of the All-India Kshatriya Mahasabha and as an MLC for Chittor in the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly, serving as speaker from 1977 to 1979; he also served as the leader of the Opposition from 1962 to 1979.

Ram Sharma (1837 - 1918) was a nineteenth-century Indo-Anglian poet who alternately criticized and praised the government in his poems and newspaper articles. He began his literary career in the 1860s but pursued steady writing only after his retirement from a government post in 1878. He practiced Yoga for 40 years.

His poem, Ode on The Meeting of Congress at Allahabad, on 26 December, 1888 was considered one of his most powerful poems. Some of his other poems are:
