The First Cut

The First Cut is an indie band from Bergen, Norway. before 2004 the band was called Crash (n).

The First Cut was formed as Crash (n) in 2000 in Bergen, Norway. The band released two 7", one 10" and a CD, toured Europe and Scandinavia once and the UK twice. After Aaron Arjuna Rudra left the band in 2003 the band chose to change name and continued as The First Cut. The band did numerous shows and released a CD in 2006 called "Silence afterwards", but due to different circumstances the band found it hard to carry on with touring and kept a low profile throughout 2005 and 2006.

According to band members The First Cut is currently on a hiatus and it's not certain if the band will play again. Thomas Santuna Larssen plays bass with Datarock, while Kristian Gundersen used to play in the band I.O.U. Arild Eriksen sings and play bass in Bouvet.

Rod Stewart

Roderick David "Rod" Stewart, CBE (born 10 January 1945) is a British rock singer-songwriter. Born and raised in London, he is of Scottish and English ancestry. Stewart is one of the best-selling music artists of all time, having sold over 100 million records worldwide.

He has had six consecutive number one albums in the UK, and his tally of 62 UK hit singles includes 31 that reached the top 10, six of which gained the number one position. With his distinctive raspy singing voice, Stewart came to prominence in the late 1960s and early 1970s with The Jeff Beck Group and then with Faces, though his music career had begun in 1962 when he took up busking with a harmonica. In October 1963 he joined the Dimensions as a harmonica player and part-time vocalist, then in 1964 he joined Long John Baldry and the All Stars. Later, in August 1964, he also signed a solo contract, releasing his first solo single, "Good Morning Little Schoolgirl", in October of the same year. He maintained a solo career alongside a group career, releasing his debut solo album An Old Raincoat Won't Ever Let You Down (US: The Rod Stewart Album), in 1969. His early albums were a fusion of rock, folk music, soul music and R&B. His aggressive blues work with The Jeff Beck Group and the Faces influenced heavy metal genres. From the late 1970s through the 1990s, Stewart's music often took on a new wave or soft rock/middle-of-the-road quality, and in the early 2000s he released a series of successful albums interpreting the Great American Songbook.

Sheryl Suzanne Crow (born February 11, 1962) is an American singer, songwriter and actress. Her music incorporates elements of pop, rock, folk, country and blues. She has released eight studio albums, two compilations, a live album and has contributed to a number of film soundtracks. She has sold more than 17 million albums in the U.S. and over 50 million albums worldwide. Crow has garnered nine Grammy Awards (out of 32 nominations) from the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences.

In addition to her own work, Crow has performed with the Rolling Stones, Stevie Nicks, Michael Jackson, Steve Earle, Prince, Eric Clapton, Luciano Pavarotti, Willie Nelson, Smokey Robinson, B.B.
