Educators are CEOs of highly complex organizations--the classroom. Jim uses the analogy of four different colors of rope that represent four teaching styles. Red is about structures and routines. Green is creativity and looking for new ideas. Yellow is about relationships and connecting with kids. Blue is about outcomes. Highly effective teachers don't move from one quadrant to the next--they integrate all four. Learn more about the School Improvement Innovation Summit (SIIS) at http://www.siis2013.com
