In computational linguistics, word-sense disambiguation (WSD) is an open problem of natural language processing, which governs the process of identifying which sense of a word (i.e. meaning) is used in a sentence, when the word has multiple meanings (polysemy). The solution to this problem impacts other computer-related writing, such as discourse, improving relevance of search engines, anaphora resolution, coherence, inference et cetera.
Research has progressed steadily to the point where WSD systems achieve sufficiently high levels of accuracy on a variety of word types and ambiguities. A rich variety of techniques have been researched, from dictionary-based methods that use the knowledge encoded in lexical resources, to supervised machine learning methods in which a classifier is trained for each distinct word on a corpus of manually sense-annotated examples, to completely unsupervised methods that cluster occurrences of words, thereby inducing word senses. Among these, supervised learning approaches have been the most successful algorithms to date.
Francis Albert "Frank" Sinatra, /sɨˈnɑːtrə/, (December 12, 1915 – May 14, 1998) was an American singer and film actor.
Beginning his musical career in the swing era with Harry James and Tommy Dorsey, Sinatra became an unprecedentedly successful solo artist in the early to mid-1940s, after being signed to Columbia Records in 1943. Being the idol of the "bobby soxers", he released his first album, The Voice of Frank Sinatra in 1946. His professional career had stalled by the 1950s, but it was reborn in 1953 after he won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his performance in From Here to Eternity.
He signed with Capitol Records in 1953 and released several critically lauded albums (such as In the Wee Small Hours, Songs for Swingin' Lovers, Come Fly with Me, Only the Lonely and Nice 'n' Easy). Sinatra left Capitol to found his own record label, Reprise Records in 1961 (finding success with albums such as Ring-a-Ding-Ding!, Sinatra at the Sands and Francis Albert Sinatra & Antonio Carlos Jobim), toured internationally, was a founding member of the Rat Pack and fraternized with celebrities and statesmen, including John F. Kennedy. Sinatra turned 50 in 1965, recorded the retrospective September of My Years, starred in the Emmy-winning television special Frank Sinatra: A Man and His Music, and scored hits with "Strangers in the Night" and "My Way".
Moon Unit Zappa (born September 28, 1967) is an American actress, musician, and author. She goes by the name Moon Zappa; "Unit" is her middle name.
Zappa was born in New York City, the eldest child of Gail Zappa, who worked in business, and musician Frank Zappa. She has three younger siblings, Dweezil, Ahmet, and Diva Muffin. Zappa's father was of Sicilian, Greek-Arab and French ancestry and her mother was of Danish, French, Irish and Portuguese ancestry. Zappa attended Oakwood School in North Hollywood, California. She married Paul Doucette, a drummer and guitarist, in June 2002. They have one child, Mathilda Plum Doucette, born December 21, 2004. Zappa filed for divorce in January 2012.
Apart from the novelty of her and her siblings' names, she first came to public attention in 1982, at the age of fourteen, as a vocalist on her father's Top 40 hit single "Valley Girl". The song featured Moon Zappa delivering a monologue in "valleyspeak", a collection of slang terms popular with teenage girls in the San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles. In the mid-1980s, Moon and her brother Dweezil were frequent guest VJs on MTV. Next to "Dancin' Fool", "Valley Girl" was Frank Zappa's biggest hit in the United States, and popularized phrases such as "grody to the max" and "gag me with a spoon". The song appeared on her father's 1982 album Ship Arriving Too Late to Save a Drowning Witch. She later made another recording titled "My Mother Is a Space Cadet", with guitar accompaniment by her brother Dweezil. She also guest-starred on The Super Mario Bros. Super Show as Marylin.
Earth is an American musical group based in Seattle, Washington, formed in 1989 and led by the guitarist Dylan Carlson.
Earth's music is nearly all instrumental, and can be divided into two distinct stages. Their early work is characterized by heavy distorted droning, minimalist, lengthy, and repetitive structures; it is recognized as pioneering the genre of drone doom — an experimental offshoot of doom metal . Following a break due to Carlson's personal problems, Earth reappeared around 2005 with a markedly different sound. Their music was still drone based, slow-paced and lengthy, but now with a drummer and featuring strong elements of country music, jazz, and English folk rock, including Fairport Convention.[citation needed]
Dylan Carlson founded the band in 1989 along with Slim Moon and Greg Babior, taking the title "Earth" from Black Sabbath's original name. Carlson has remained the core of the band's line-up throughout its changes. Outside of the underground music world, Carlson is perhaps best known for having been a close friend of grunge icon Kurt Cobain, as well as the person who purchased the gun that Cobain later used to commit suicide. Cobain sang lead vocals in the song "Divine and Bright", from a demo included on the re-release of the live album Sunn Amps and Smashed Guitars.
Frank, give me a pork roll egg and cheese, if you please, with some gravy fries.
Sink into a greasy mega-weedge and I sneezed and it blew my mind.
Time: it's in the hand of God. Chew on turkey or some cod if you please.
Ladies and gentlemen, it is my pleasure, to give to you, the new Whitecross, Unveiled.
Take it away, fellas.
Brother
There's so much that I could never say to your face
Bye, bye now
You should know the world and all its ways so find your place
How do I find words that do not condescend
When she bore you before me
'Cause she doesn't need a child, she needs a friend
A son not a sob story
(Now you must have never heard of what she did for you)
And your priority, it must be heard
(Now you must have never heard of what she did for you)
'Cause we'll never be the way we were
She can't always be there just to hold you down
Our mother
When you are at a age now well life turns around
My brother
Realize that you don't have to answer to no man
Responsibility comes down to you
But how can I expect you to understand
When you live life like its so run through
(Now you must have never heard of what she did for you)
Your priority, it must be heard
(Now you must have never heard of what she did for you)
'Cause we'll never be the way we were
(Now you must have never heard of what she did for you)
And your priority, it must be heard
(Now you must have never heard of what she did for you)
'Cause we'll never be the way we were
The way we were, we'll never be
And your priority, it must be heard
Han fångade sparken med huvudet
han hade tänkt alla tankar ändå
Han stod inte upp när han fick den
för full för att ens kunna gå
Långsamt glömmer man bort allt
också pojkar i manchestertyg
men jag minns våra skrikiga stolar i köket
och virveln på min kula av porslin
Min vän hade kritvita tänder
Hans kläder luktade rök
Så levande att det ibland känns
som om det är jag som är död
Refr.
Långsamt glömmer man bort allt
också träskor och gul blend i smyg
men inte saker han sa som gjorde mig större
inte så blyg
På hans jacka satt fyra märken
Hjältar i glittrande tyg
Slade Kiss Bowie & Sweet, året när pinups var ny
Refr.
Nu är jag större, nu är jag äldre än du
She grew up in a house made of porcelain, crystal, glass
Her brother left a year ago
Sister one and a half
Mother is a name at best
And father was a mess
The ingredients were wrong
But dad you saved us all
So now I say
Hey dad I learned this all from you
I must have won this time
Say dad I learned this all from you
I must have won this time
This time
Working late and losing lunch
While waking up and standing out
She never knew this all tasted so good when it was hot
And everything that she saw on TV
And everything that you wanted to be
And he abandoned his dreams
So she could go to sleep and have her own
Hey dad, I tried so hard
I say hey dad I learned this all from you
I must have won this time
Say dad I learned this all from you
I must have won this time
Frank was a contractor, who got up every morning.
Skinn'n cats and fix'n cars, his day was far from boring.
Souped up Ford, V-8 289, running down those punks was always on his mind.
Frank was a contractor. Is he after you?
Frank was a contractor. Is he after you?
Ford was wired for nitro. Canister sat in the back.
Ten inch slicks, ratchet shift, smoke, rubber layed in his tracks.
Frank didn't like us, just wanted to have some fun.
So we played our music, and he put us on the run.
Frank was a contractor. Is he after you?
Frank was a contractor. Is he after you?
Frank started the beast. Smoke spewed from the trunk.
Oil sprayed from the hood, that can of nitro junk.
The car swelled then exploded, flying across the street.
Frank slowly stepped out, staggering to his feet.
Frank was a contractor. Is he after you?
Frank was a contractor. Is he after you?
So our story ends, with the psycho contractor guy.
Moral of the story is "if Franks around, turn the music down, or you better
learn how to run fast." Frank was a contractor. Is he after you?
Another night in the kitchen with Frank
And the sound of his broken guitar
We are drunken like wild horses
I love you curt, i fall asleep
Wanna die - Watch me bleeding
Wanna die - Watch me bleeding
Another night in the car with Frank
And the sound of my broken voice
Another nightmare, another black dream
My skin is burning, i fall asleep
Wanna die - Watch me bleeding
Wanna die - Watch me bleeding
Another night in a hotel room
Frank is playing his broken guitar
Forgotten songs of a lost generation
My hart is burning, i fall asleep
Wanna die - Watch me bleeding
I know you want me, yeah
On your own sometime today
I'm looking to somebody, yeah
Gotta hold some down today
And I should've known that was something to do-oo
And I should've known better when I'm dancing with you-oo
With a little magic I guess that I do-oo
So listen when I say, I'll never love again, no don't go, damn it's you
CHORUS
Closer to me, you get so closer to me
You take me higher than I need so don't go never
You get closer to me, you get so close I can't breathe
You're getting higher than I need so don't go never
You're giving me the wrong girl, understand
Your loving made me up down, in your hand
Cos? all I need to bring me on the floor
Your love has only made me want you more
Ooooh-ooh, oh baby I love you
Ooooh-ooh, yeah that's how I feel
Ooooh-ooh, oh, baby I love you
Ooooh-ooh, now I'm breaking the deal
Oooh ooh ooh ooh ooh
Oooh ooh ooh ooh ooh-ooh x2
Verse 1
I'm coming down,
Don't anybody come around and pull me under
I had my ?
And caught up in my ? and I feel so out-numbered
I'm coming down,
Don't need to help yourself to help evolve my species
I won't slow down,
Just need a little time, I am all the ?
Chorus
Don't, I'm better on my own, just leave me all alone, 'cos I feel suffocated
I'm, tormented every time, I temper with my mind, I'm just complicated
Don't, I'm better on my own, just leave me all alone, 'cos I feel suffocated
I'm, tormented every time, I temper with my mind, I'm just complicated
Verse 2
You try and reason my doubt, race me
You try and draw it all out, make me
Into the girl in your eyes, save me
So what you hoping for, some kinda kinda war, maybe?
I don't speak before I think, I don't pretend to know everything
'Cos what you see, is what you get.
But that's just me, and I ain't got no regrets.
I'm gonna keep on going til there's nowhere to go,
I'm pushing til the damage is done, oh oh
It's not about just proving what your tryna show,
I'm stayin with alot of the sun. (Lot of the sun)
Oooh ooh ooh ooh ooh
Oooh ooh ooh ooh ooh-ooh x2
Bridge
Dirty dogs stop digging out
'Cos your walkways tripping me out
Dirty dogs stop digging out
'Cos your walkways tripping me out
Oooh ooh ooh ooh ooh
I go to your place in the afternoon
To take the last drag of the honeymoon
I take a deep breath coming up for air
A crocodile smile and a silent prayer
Maybe I've come too early
But I'll sit back here and sip my daiquari
Something tells me I am welcome,
I'll come down, just see what happens
Silence while we catch our breath
And we're lying hand in hand in the heatwave baby
Silence, I love you to death
But get over it soon, I'm not done with you
I wonder what I was like as a lover
And I wonder, could there have been many others?
I wonder (silence) what I was like as a lover (silence)
And I wonder (silence), could there have been many others (silence)?
Silence while we catch our breath
And we're lying hand in hand in the heatwave baby
Silence, I love you to death
Turn it up, turn it up
Feel the knock knock on your lock
Burn it up, barely stop
I'm feeling rock n roll
Synth bass solo
VERSE 1
Gonna swing in time cos' I know that I can
I said bounce in time like I know that you can
I put your hand and you put your hand there
I said play it like a rhyme with a rhythm and yer snare
Oh, I feel you grind, even your shoes are fine
Dancing at a way I can feel the beat
The body shock you're giving me right now
Wanna find a piece of mind right now
CHORUS
Don't make me turn it up, turn it up
I feel the knock knock on your lock
And when you burn it up, barely stop
I'm feeling rock n roll
Don't make me turn it up, turn it up
I feel the knock knock on your lock
And when you burn it up, barely stop
I'm feeling rock n roll
VERSE 2
I've been running round and round
Chasing dragons upside down
Someone knocking on my door
Won't you please, won't you please just leave me alone?
Left my head swinging on the top
Feel the sweat running down my spine
Dropped my dreams on the sticky floor
Won't you please, won't you please just leave me alone?
Don't want the night to stop
Just give me one more drop, come on
Gotta bring it back, on the beaten track
If I'm gonna make it now
MIDDLE 8
I want a deep down dirty dog
I want a deep down dirty dog
I want a deep down dirty dog
I want a deep down dirty dog
I've got a secret for you, though you've heard it before
But I'm having to question what you're insider's for
You're really getting to me
I see the look on your face
Staring in and out of space
And I feel like this could be the end
Turn it up, turn it up
Feel the knock knock on your lock
Burn it up, barely stop
I'm feeling rock n roll
Open Wide, Close Your Eyes,
Do You Feel Fine,
Do You Dare, Take Me There,
Wanna share mine.
Cause Today Is the Day, Wanna Feel Mine, Out Of sight, Come and slide, Cause it feels like
[Chorus]
Im not shy on Monday (Awoo ah woo ah), Tuesday always works for me, (Awoo ah woo), You can try on Wednesday,(Awoo ah woo ah), Friday night is always free(Awoo ah woo)
If ups a one way drop then dont look down, if loves a second stop i wont turn around
If ups a one way drop then dont look down, if loves a second stop dont turn around
Cause it fits like a glove, yes it does, im in love
Cause if looks so fine, it dont mind so divine
You wanna wake up with a smile everyday, if life was perfect it would be that way, instead you wake up to the sound of the beat, and wonder why you don't just stay asleep
Cause when its raining its pouring, so we don't live in an ideal world, your either working or snoring, so we don't live in an ideal world
[Chorus]
If ups a one way drop then dont look down, if loves a second stop i wont turn around
If ups a one way drop then dont look down, if loves a second stop dont turn around
Cause it fits like a glove, yes it does, im in love
Cause if looks so fine, it dont mind so divine
If ups a one way drop then dont look down, if loves a second stop i wont turn around
If ups a one way drop then dont look down, if loves a second stop dont turn around
(Awoawo ah)
(Yeahhh)
