This was the demonstration that was happening throughout the Motorcycle Live 2015 event and it was a cracking demo and something that I think I will try and squeeze into my tight 2016 schedule
Simon Pavey and his team have developed their own unique programme for each level of training, that has been constantly refined to provide the best learning experience and most fun.
Our instructors are not just great off-road riders with years of experience either; we put as much emphasis on their teaching abilities, techniques and skill. Being a great rider counts for nothing if you can’t clearly convey your knowledge. We pride ourselves on our instructors and we are always learning and developing our own teaching abilities. We are one of the only schools in the world that has a dedicated instructor training program designed to help us all grow as off-road trainers and provide the best customer care, service and teaching environment we can.

It's not every day you get an opportunity to jump behind the wheel of something like the BMW M6 GT3, a full racecar of the highest order but I headed over to Bilster Berg in Germany to join BMW Motorsport and do exactly that...
Following joining Team Walkenhorst and my friend, George Richardson, driving an M6 GT3 at the Nurburgring 24H the team invited me to join this private event in Germany and get to give it a go myself. Things got underway with a full set up and induction to the car, the gear, the briefing and ensuring all is set. From there I head out with works driver Lucas Luhr in the BMW M235i Racing for some warmup and sighting laps before switching over to the main beast.
What can I say, what a phenomenal thing to do and an insanely immersive experience to live. Obviously it takes more than two short stints on an unfamiliar track to properly push it but the level of control and feeling in the car is just outstanding. The only problem, I want to do more of this, I'm hooked!

We go behind the scenes (where cameras are not allowed) in a rare factory tour of the BMW Spartanburg, South Carolina plant's Assembly Hall for the BMW X3 and BMW X4. These BMW models are built in the USA. They are manufactured here they are distributed across the world from a port in Charleston, SC. BMW produces the X3 X4 X5 and X6 models for the entire world from this location. Even though you can't buy a BMW X4 diesel in the United States, they are produced here.

It’s tempting to view the BMW X6 M through the same lens that you would view the Cadillac Escalade EXT — you know, the pickup truck — a one-off anomaly that history will look back on and shrug. Hubris for the sake of hubris, etc. But that sure ain’t how Mercedes views the stylized attack wagon from BMW. No, Mercedes went on ahead and recorded a note-for-note cover version of BMW’s wacky song. Why? Follow the money, as BMW sure made a wheelbarrow full of it with the last generation X6M. This one is all new, as is the GLE63 Coupe S. But which hunchback of the Nürburgring is best? On this episode of Head 2 Head presented by Tire Rack, host Jonny Lieberman finds out!

No, Mercedes went on ahead and recorded a note-for-note cover version of BMW’s wacky song. Why? Follow the money, as BMW sure made a wheelbarrow full of it with the last generation X6M.
