Carlos Henrique Casimiro, or simply Casemiro (born February 23, 1992) is a Brazilian footballer who plays for São Paulo and the Brazil national team as a midfielder.
Born in São José dos Campos, Casemiro is a product of the Sao Paulo youth centre. From the age of 11 upwards, he was captain of the team. He has represented Brazil at U20 level, winning the South American Youth Championship in 2011. His playing style is both versatile and aggressive as he is a tough-tackling midfielder who can also attack. His idols are Zinedine Zidane and Hernanes. He is a target of AS. Roma for January 2012 transfer window. However, the asking price of 10 million euros from Sao Paulo is making AS Roma relucant to meet up the asking price. He has been linked with a £5 million move to QPR subject to a permit being received.

When I was young then all my boughs
were thickly hung with glittering hopes.
But one by one they've blown away
and only one remains today.
It flutters out upon the air,
