False Trail

False Trail (Swedish: Jägarna 2, "The hunters 2") is a 2011 Swedish thriller directed by Kjell Sundvall with Rolf Lassgård and Peter Stormare in the main roles. The film is the sequel the 1996 film The Hunters, it sneak-premiered on 17 August 2011 in Överkalix and in Norrland on 2 September 2011 and had its main all over Sweden premiere on 9 September 2011.

Unlike the first film, where the title pointed to the villainous hunters, the title of the sequel hints towards the feud between Erik and Torsten, both with their own predatory nature.

Plot

15 years after the events of the first film, Erik (Rolf Lassgård) is forced to return to the Norrland village he left after the events of the first film after a brutal crime is committed.

Production

The film's director started filming in August 2010 on location in Överkalix and Kalix in the upper-north part of Sweden.

The Hunters is a 2011 French crime horror thriller film directed by Chris Briant. The film was produced by Antoine Huet, Thomas Malmonte, Donato Rotunno, Joseph Rouschop. It stars Dianna Agron, Steven Waddington and Tony Becker. It released in limited theaters on December 27, 2011.

Plot

On the outskirts of town is a large abandoned fort turned wooded park. Detective Le Saint is an ex-soldier assigned to protect a police informant who he arranges to meet at an abandoned fort in the woods. Alice is a college student who sneaks into the fort with a friend to go exploring. Unfortunately, the fort is also used by a group of men as a base for hunting humans: vagrants, tourists, and anyone else who happens to stray too far into the woods or stay after the park closes. Now Le Saint and Alice are caught up in the hunt against men who see humans as their next prey.

The film, while hosting an array of American actors, was filmed in Luxembourg and France.

StarCraft

StarCraft is a military science fiction media franchise created by Chris Metzen and James Phinney, and owned by Blizzard Entertainment. The series centers on a galactic struggle for dominance between four species—the adaptable and mobile Terrans, the ever-evolving insectoid Zerg, the powerfully enigmatic Protoss, and the "god-like" Xel'Naga creator race—in a distant part of the Milky Way galaxy known as the Koprulu Sector at the beginning of the 26th century. Most of the original development team for StarCraft returned to work on the game's official expansion pack, Brood War; the game's development began shortly after StarCraft was released. In 2001, StarCraft: Ghost began development under Nihilistic Software. Unlike the previous real-time strategy games in the series, Ghost was to be a stealth-action game. After three years of development, work on the game was postponed in 2004. Development of StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty began in 2003; the game was later announced on May 19, 2007 and was released on July 27, 2010. The StarCraft II franchise continued with the StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm expansion, which was released on March 12, 2013. The third StarCraft II installment is titled StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void, released on November 10, 2015.

Yin Yang Yo!

Yin Yang Yo! is an American/Canadian flash animated television series created by Bob Boyle II (also the creator of Nick Jr. original series Wow! Wow! Wubbzy!) and produced by Jetix Animation Concepts. It is the third Jetix-original show. It premiered on September 4, 2006 on Jetix in the United States with a sneak peek airing on August 26, 2006. The show debuted on Jetix in the United Kingdom on February 5, 2007 after a sneak peek preview on January 27, 2007 while making its Canadian television premiere on Family Channel on March 25, 2007. The series is supplied with writers and animators' staff associated with Fairly OddParents, 6teen, Clone High and Danny Phantom. Head writer Steve Marmel, an anime fan, took an inspiration from various anime and anime-influenced shows such as Teen Titans and FLCL. stars two anthropomorphic rabbits named Yin and Yang, and their sensei-like panda figure named Yo, a master of fictional mystical martial arts called Woo Foo.

In 2007, the show was nominated for British Academy Children's Award by the BAFTA in the International category, but lost to Stephen Hillenburg's SpongeBob SquarePants. From its launch in June 1, 2011 to late 2012, Disney XD Canada aired re-runs of the series.

Beyond the Black Stump (comic strip)

Beyond the Black Stump is an Australian comic strip written by Sean Leahy. It debuted in 1988 and won the "Best Comic Strip" at the 2003 National Coffs Harbour Cartoon Awards and the "Comic Strip Cartoonist of the Year" at the Australian Cartoonist's Association's Stanley Award the same year.

The strip follows a cast of Australian wildlife who deal with the day-to-day stresses of marriage, parenting and friendship.

Sampson (horse)

Sampson, a Shire horse gelding foaled in 1846 in Toddington Mills, Bedfordshire, England, is the tallest and heaviest horse ever recorded.

Sampson, owned by Thomas Cleaver, stood 21.2½ hands high (i.e. 7 ft 2½ in or 220 cm at his withers) by the time he was a four-year-old, when he was renamed Mammoth.

His peak weight was estimated at 3,360 lb (1,520 kg). He was gelded at approximately one and a half years old, and his testicles were already the size of footballs.
