In Greek mythology, Peneleus, son of Hippalcimus and Asterope, was an Achaean soldier in the Trojan War.
Prior to the beginning of the war, he was said to have sailed with the Argonauts; he also was one of the suitors of Helen, which obliged him to join in the campaign against Troy. He came from Boeotia and commanded 12 ships. It is also said that Peneleus was chosen to command the Boeotian troops because Tisamenus, son and successor of Thersander, was still too young.
Peneleus killed two Trojans,Ilioneus, and Lycon was himself wounded by Polydamas and was eventually killed by Eurypylus (son of Telephus). He left a son Opheltes, whose own son (Peneleus' grandson) Damasichthon succeeded Autesion, son of Tisamenus, as the ruler over Thebes.
Mother Moon
Mistress of the Sun
Say, I got you, I got you
Sister Sun
Lovers of the tune
Sing, I got you, I got you, I got you
Floating away, I think I'll stay
[As the view]
Floating away, I think I'll stay in blue light
Floating away, I think I'll stay
Next to you
Finding a way to make the loss in you
Cuz you don't deserve me
I know, that I deserve you
Mother Moon
Mistress of the Sun, Say,
I got you, I got you
Sister Sun
Lovers of the tune, Sing
I got you, I got you
Mother Moon
Mistress of the Sun, Sing
I got you, I got you
Oh I got you
Oh I got you
Mother Moon
Floating away, I think I'll stay
[As the fuse]
Floating away, I think a day with you
Floating away, I think I'll stay
Next to you
Finding a way to make the loss in you
Cuz you don't deserve me
But I deserve you
Flowers for the May Queen
But life for the prayers
If nobody wears
