I'm a Democrat Because when I was growing up in Alabama, black men and women weren’t allowed to even register to vote. They almost gave up. I think about the next generation, and I don’t want to give up. There’s still work to be done. I want to stand with the party that fights for everyone.

I'm a Democrat Because we’re the party that looks out for every American, regardless of gender, sexuality, race, or income. While at the University of Florida, I got involved in student government and the College Democrats. Seeing the positive impact I could have on campus inspired me to devote my life to public service. Now, as a mom to three kids, I know more than ever how critical Democratic values are to our future.

I'm a Democrat Because we believe that everybody in this country deserves a fair shot. We believe in expanding opportunity, whether we’re working to grow the economy, creating jobs, or making sure every child receives a world-class education. Democrats look to the future, and I’m incredibly proud to be fighting for progress with them.

I'm a Democrat Because I grew up watching my dad, who worked in a steel mill, and my mom, a nurse, work hard to support our family while also being engaged members of our community, trying to make it a better place for kids to grow up. They inspire me to work every day to make sure that America is a place where hardworking families can succeed.
