Marine biologists have discovered -- via video footage -- hammerhead sharks and other oceanic beasts inside the caldera of the active underwater volcano, Kavachi, and the finding has them perplexed ... Not only should they not be in the Kavachi caldera, an active volcanic crater, both species of shark seemed quite content swimming through scalding waters (due to volcanic vents) that reach temperatures of 800 degrees Fahrenheit....

It's National Geographic's term for what some researchers found way out in the Solomon Islands of the Pacific ocean. Tehy were out to measure a volcano named Kavachi, document about its chemical and biological processes and such.
