Crayford is a town and electoral ward in south-east London, England within the London Borough of Bexley. It lies east of Bexleyheath and north west of Dartford.
An Iron Age settlement existed in the vicinity of the present St Paulinus Church between the Julian and Claudian invasions of Britain, from roughly 30 BC to AD 40. Roman ruins have been discovered and Crayford is one of several places proposed as the site of Noviomagus, a place mentioned in the Antonine Itinerary as being on the Roman equivalent of the later Watling Street. Crayford is also plausible as the site of the bloody battle of Crecganford ("Creeksford") in 457. The Anglo-Saxon Chronicle written around 400 years later describes how Hengist and Aesc defeated the "Brettas" at the site.
Crayford is mentioned in the Domesday Book, which was compiled just prior to 1086, as having a church, three mills, and a relatively large population of 27 regular householders (villeins) and 2 smallholders. Its overlord was not a private individual or the king but Christ Church, Canterbury.

Erith (i/ˈɪərᵻθ/) is a district of the London Borough of Bexley, England, next to the River Thames north east of Bexleyheath and north west of Dartford.
Erith town centre has undergone modernisation and seen an increase in dwellings since 1961. The curved riverside high street consists of one listed building and two others, a Church of England church and the Carnegie Building. Otherwise, it consists primarily of suburban homes. Erith railway station and a dual carriageway link it to Central London and Kent.
Erith has the longest pier in London, and retains a coastal environment with salt marshes as well as industrial land.
Work at the former British Gypsum site in Church Manorway by the Museum of London Archaeological Service shows that the area was covered by a dense forest of oak, yew, and alder during the Neolithic Period, which by the Bronze Age had given way in part to sedge fen.
Their work at the former site of Erith School in Belmont Road revealed the presence of prehistoric settlement, and of a substantial settlement or farmstead dating from the first century.

Have you everage town but with NANDOS?! then this is the place for you!
This was my graduate film from Staffordshire University which I shot in Manchester on the Canon 5D MarkII. It was my first time using the camera and I had a crash course on it's functions the night before. I have to say I love the camera, in retrospect I just wish I knew more about it before shooting, which may have helped certain elements within the film. Non the less, the film is a cine-poem about two young people feeling lost and alone within a large city, whilst unknowingly being connected through their similar feelings. I hope you enjoy it

Crayford, in South-East London, at the turn of the 20th Century was home to Hiram Maxim, who laid claim to the first heavier than air flight, some years prior to the Wright Brothers. He went on to develop a bi-plane with Vickers at their Crayford factory. Vickers later developed the Vimy, which was the first aeroplane to successfully cross the Atlantic non-stop. The pilot was Capt. John Alcock and the navigator was Arthur Whitton-Brown. The film tells the various stages of these stories, using archive photographs, documents and memorabilia. The story of the flight was designed animated by school children from Crayford. The film was made by animation workshop leader Tom Hillenbrand, who worked with with primary school children from St. Paulinus, St.Joseph's, Barnes Cray & a drop-in works...

How to increase inward travel on a skywatcher crayford focuser for imaging.
Standard focusers supplied with the telescope can often have teething problems. Most Amateur Astronomers usually invest on upgraded focusers costing more money. However in this video guide I show how to get the most out the standard focuser and save money in the process.

10" (250mm) aperture, f/8 Ritchey-Chretien optical tube optimized for astrophotographic use with APS-C and full-frame (35mm) CCD cameras and DSLRs. For our US and Canadian customers - http://bit.ly/2bdagmM Unlike conventional Newtonian reflector and Schmidt Cassegrain (SCT) designs that are susceptible to displaying coma away from the center of the field, the acclaimed Ritchey-Chrétien design utilizes hyperbolic primary and secondary mirrors to achieve wonderfully flat images that are virtually coma-free with pinpoint star clarity all the way out to the field edge. Plus, since there are no lenses in an "RC" telescope, captured images are delightfully free of chromatic aberrations for true-color performance. Both the primary and secondary mirrors of the Orion 10" RC are made of low-expan...

Gettin started really early,? got no time to hesitate
The stars alright to get to hell, from the dawn to pick me back
Break the loads? Ill break your leg, do ya think I give a damn
I will never almost over, Ill bring the bottom to the blind
(Chorus)
Thats so far to where they run, no tomorrow where to die
When you look into that home, you discover when its time to go
Yeah, your time to die, yeah go for the light
And if you judge me and pointing finger, have a look at yourself
Rename who thats alright, I behave like a pig or swine
I have all the bags and maybe some booze, hey bring me my running shoes
A tambourine and loads of beer, you dont wanna be alone here
Any excitement Ive had enough, I want more of that brown stone.
(Chorus)
Destruct your love creation, youre getting dusty yeah
Ive told you once Ive told you twice, you can never change my life
You want me to play the blues, never trust me drinking the booze
