No wonder the 18th Ard-Stiúrthóir [Director-General] of the GAA begins his working day at 7am every morning ... And while he means to check out by 6pm, a job like his never really finishes ... Then he went into coaching, helping out at Emyvale because he found himself down the pecking order in Scotstown when it came to taking teams ... A former manager with Irish Nationwide Building Society has lost his claim for unfair dismissal for failing to repay a mortgage after selling a property. Brendan Beggan of Iterera, Scotstown, Co Monaghan was dismissed from his position as a branch manager in 2009 ...
